Great stay!

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Ryan was a great host and the place was beautiful and located in a great location easy to find. We loved the place and would most definitely stay again if needed.

We just got home from a wonderful long weekend at Reghan’s place. It was cozy, spotless and well situated (10-12 minutes to arrowhead; 2-4 minutes to downtown). Tea, coffee and chocolate waited upon arrival. The soft blankets and electric fireplace kept us warm while we were relaxing playing board games (she has lots) and watching tv. Reghan was quick to respond, shared a bunch of recommendations, let us to check in a bit earlier and sent over the plow crew after the storm while we were out snowshoeing. Her place is pet friendly so you might find a hair or two on your clothes as those are hard to get every last one of, luckily we're not allergic.

The perfect getaway! It’s so cozy feels like you’re at home. The property has everything you would need for a short- term or a long -term stay- lots of linen, toiletries, utensils and kitchen appliances. Esteban was a very good and responsive host. There are a few fast food chains around that are open till 12am, and grocery and convenience stores are right around. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

This Lake Nipissing rental was very much what we were looking for to do an ice fishing outing for 6 mostly retired guys – it was almost directly in from Lonely Island (about 1.5k walk). The actual cottage is very large, and it was nice having 2 ½ baths. The kitchen is very big with a huge island that also works as a pub height dinning area and there are tons of cabinets with all of the kitchen utensils/accessories you’ll need to make great meals. There are a few rough areas, which comes from a lot of use (e.g., trim work, a few chips, dents and worn chairs, shower heads, etc.), but for a northern cottage rental I would say it would be 4 to 4.5 stars and for an ice fishing choice I must give it 5 stars. I will very much consider this location again if we decide to do another ice fishing trip to this location again in the future and if you were doing a non-winter trip, I’m sure this location would be a perfect area with boat access and placement on the water for a large family outing.

Ballard Cabin was the perfect getaway! It has a warm, rustic hunting cabin vibe that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The space is incredibly cozy, with a super comfy couch and a great collection of books to browse through. The kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a gourmet meal. The location was also perfect: just minutes from town and a short drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park, where we spent the weekend skating. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend! Thanks, Luca!

We had an amazing stay at Amit’s cottage! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect retreat, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Amit was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. We had a great weekend at this cottage! The cottage was clean, cozy, spacious. It had everything we needed for a fun filled weekend. The hot tub, pool table and ping pong table were just some of the highlights of this cottage. Amanda was very accommodating and responsive. She provided all the information needed in order to have the best time. The location was ideal, very peaceful, surrounded by nature, lots of privacy. Overall, this cottage was a perfect escape from the city. We would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an enjoyable getaway. Looking forward to coming back!

enjoyed our night away in the Yurt tent! was clean and beautiful the grounds were well organized and the Hot Tub was amazing and needed for my recent diagnosis in health! lots of beautiful stuff to do around, especially hiking which is our favorite! love all of what Sandor and his family have done with this old school house and the grounds!

We had a wonderful March break week at Mark and Betty's. It's like living in an art gallery! The view was beautiful and a very peaceful and private location. My daughter loved the rooms and toys downstairs and we really appreciated the modern kitchen and fantastic fireplace.

This place was perfect for our family of 4 and we had friends of ours for a night that is also a family of 4. Plenty of space and the cottage was great for letting the kids roam to play. The property is big and has lots of outside play area. We went during winter so no pool time. But the hot tub was perfect. I took my snowmobile up and was able to do a couple day rides right from the cottage. Less than 10 minutes to the Sequin Trail. Communication with Raja (Owner) and Agatha (property manager) was fantastic. Very prompt on responding. And I will add, there was a minor issue with the on-demand hot water heater (that was out of everyone’s control) and they had people in almost immediately to look at it. It was a minor inconvenience to say the least, but they refunded us a full nights stay. Now that’s what I call a good gesture. We will not hesitate to return to the cottage. We absolutely love the inside and the coziness it brings.

This place is absolutely breathtaking, being right on the lake, the view was beautiful from morning to night time. Usman was also an amazing host who responded to all our questions and concerns in timely manner before and during our stay. Could not recommend this host and their place enough. Our family of 13 had an amazing Christmas/ new years getaway. Cynthias home is beautiful and was accurately described on the site . There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and enough sitting areas that we were not crowded in anyway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable . The kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve ever required plus more, I think it was our favourite space to hang out in overlooking the water . The location was picturesque and had the weather cooperated would’ve had ample outdoor activities. We enjoyed watching football , lounging by the fire and playing pool . Cynthia was very helpful and prompt with every question that I had and made us feel welcome . Thank you for a memorable family new years .

My second visit to this very comfortable, snug, and warm cabin with an excellent wood furnace. Having a warm and dry place for the night made hiking in November so much more enjoyable. Shawna is a delightful host. Though it is an hour and a half to Kilarney Park, it is an easy and pleasant drive with little traffic. En route, nearby Noelville has a wonderful coop grocery store with much in addition to groceries, though it closes about 5:00 pm or so.

I had a wonderful solo experience at Catherine's cabin. It was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed to cook simple delicious meals. BBQ for dinners and the frying pan was perfect for breakfast. The view was absolutely stunning, which you can enjoy from the private dock or from the cabin. It was only a 15 minute drive away from beautiful hikes and the grocery store or butcher. Very grateful to have found this place and will definitely come back.

Beautiful apartment that has been decorated really nicely. Communication was great, host was super responsive. This was a last minute stay due to road closures and we were impressed with how quickly and easily we were able to book and arrive. We’ll likely be back.

Peaceful, gorgeous & unique location. Enjoyed our sunset walk on the “ghost trail” and on surrounding country roads. Comfortable, cozy stay with everything we needed. Enjoyed meeting our canine hosts as well :)

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!
