Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. 💕 Die Betten waren am ersten Abend etwas hart aber man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Es war eine tolle traditionelle Erfahrung. In der Nähe ist direkt eine Bus- und Bahnstation womit man zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten gelangt. Direkt in der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es wenig was man am Abend machen kann. Dies hat aber unserer Position Erfahrung keinen Abbruch getan. 😊

We very much enjoyed our stay at Makiko's! She provided clear directions to get to the apartment, even including a YouTube video that was extremely helpful. The apartment was very well stocked with soda and other beverages waiting for us, which was a welcome treat after a day of travelling to relax and enjoy the complimentary drinks. The kitchen was also well stocked with tea and coffee and had all the necessary kitchenware and service ware for a quick breakfast - it really fit more like a hotel than an airbnb! Plenty of room for 5 people, location was residential and quiet but very walkable from Shin Osaka station which had great food and shopping options. We highly recommend!

A great place a bit out the way, I would definitely stay again .I would recommend to rent a car or a bicycle to get back at night. the local Transit shuts down 8ish. but a very nice place. just look for all the boats.

Great house for a large group. Plenty of room with a master bedroom, with TV, separate from the other rooms. We had a large group with children under 7, so we needed to cook. That was the only downside. Typical small Japanese kitchen. Needs a few more cooking utensils, but it was sufficient.

We had a wonderful stay at Reiki-An's place. Reiki-An-San was very kind and responsive, accommodating our needs and offering help. The house is perfect for ~2-4 people, with a private bedroom and a spacious loft that can accommodate several tatami beds (though the loft has no door). The house is very spacious, with amenities for cooking and washing. The location is very centrally located, yet quiet at the same time. It was walking distance from most of Central Kyoto. Highly recommended! Would love to stay again if we had the chance

Asia was a super helpful host who provided us with plenty of information and local recommendations. The place was comfortable for the four of us. The property was an easy walk to the train station and other attractions around Kyoto. We would love to stay at this property again in the future!

Location was good. Walkable to train station. House was perfect. We, a family of 4 felt really comfortable staying there. Hosts went all the way to collect our luggage from Kyoto station and when we check out they also helped sent our luggage to the station. We will gladly stay there when we visit Kyoto again. Thank you so much.

Great interior, amazing charm! Would stay again

Kimiko is a fantastic host. She is communicative and clear, and gave us really thorough instructions on how to find her place via walking directions/map, public transportation and using Kyoto Shaw Inn for Google Maps. Her place is spacious by Japanese standards, so we could happily rest our feet from all out walking across Kyoto, and feel comfortable. The Paket Market grocery store is just a few minutes walking distance, very easy to buy breakfast and snack items. The train station was also close by. If Fushimi Inari is on your Kyoto sights list, Kimiko's place is near to it. Very comfortable beds and truly a quiet neighborhood.

We loved our stay here and the host was very friendly and responsive! We had a great stay in Kyoto and Jasmin made it even better! Thank you so much!

距離京都站、九條站還有東福寺站步行路程大概10-15分鐘，一出來還有公車可以直接去祇園，小型超市也在右手邊過馬路就到，備品齊全，也可以提早將行李放進房子，等下午時間到再入住，很方便

A good place to stay if you want to stay in a tradional style of japanese house. There are lawson and train station nearby which is very convenient.

We had a great stay in Tg’s place. He welcomed us at the door when we arrived and showed us around the house and provided the instructions. He also helped us arranged the taxi when we leave. He is a great host and always responsive and helpful! The house itself is gorgeous. It is exactly as you can see in the anime. I stayed in the house during on warm spring afternoon. I opened the windows around the house and can hear the running water sound and bird sound from the garden. It was very relaxing, feeling that I live in the anime world. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Walkable distance to 7/11. We also found a local restaurant -Takano to be our go to place for lunch. It was a nice local store and provides homemade food.

great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

The place looks exactly like in the photos. There were clear instructions on how to use the appliances around the house. Temperature dropped while we were there. Might want to take note that the bathroom and toilet are somewhat outdoor so it can get cold. There is a portable heater around the house which you can bring into the bathroom to warm it a lil. Overall a pleasant, cosy and big place for 3 of us.

Staying at Yoshiyuki’s traditional guesthouse was a truly unique experience!
Yoshiyuki is an excellent host—welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The home is well-equipped, impeccably clean, and just as special as the photos suggest. I especially loved the kotatsu, a traditional heated table with a thick blanket and a warming element underneath. A note for winter stays: The house can be chilly, so bring warm clothes. The location is great—within walking distance of the main station, many of Kyoto’s beautiful attractions, and nearby subway stations.

We had a wonderful stay, with excellent instructions and comfortable house and rooms. Host was always available and communicative. It might seem a bit out of the way but Kyoto is very spread out with some of the main attractions very near the house! Otherwise buses and Ubers get you everywhere.

This home was perfect for our Kyoto trip the area it’s located in is close to everything but not too close that it’s noisy and so after a long day you can actually relax and sleep so well here. Has all the essential amenities needed (shampoo/conditioner, a toiletry kit, laundry soap, disposable house shoes). Has a heating unit works very well as does the washing machine. The home was very clean. Upstairs there is a set up bedroom with two beds and a Japanese style room with floor beds in the closet that can be set up. There is two floors and two bathrooms, one on each floor. Home looks just like the pictures, very beautiful architecture and so spacious. We came here early March, there was light rain and the home provided umbrellas which was a lovely touch. There is a tv with an Apple TV. Overall a perfect choice and would stay here again in the future!

This place was very clean and comfortable. It was a good size for our family of five and a nice, private location. We would have appreciated some instructions for the hot water in the shower (which was surprisingly not self-explanatory). Otherwise, we had no complaints. There were helpful directions for the other appliances. I was happy to have a sleep mask, as our bedroom was not very dark. Our bed was very comfortable.
