We had a fantastic stay! The place was super clean, well-maintained, and absolutely perfect for our trip. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the experience even better. The building also has an elevator, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

Nori's place is in a buzzy, 24-hour neighborhood of Toyko, with central & convenient transportation options. If you like Izakaya and a picturesque nightlife scene, I would recommend a stay in Nakano at Nori's hotel. The room was a perfect landing pad for our jam-packed Tokyo itinerary, even though we didn't spend much of our time in Nakano! We were extremely comfortable on the ofuton, and it was fun to flick on the tv late before bed. Everything was clean, tatami were in good condition, and the space had a vintage essence. I would gladly stay again! Thank you Nori-san!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect get away! Spacious compared to other locations in Tokyo, and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful on recommendation and accessing the amenities was so simple. Shinjuku is an amazing place to stay, great night life, TONS of foods and everything is walking distance including the station. We would DEFINITELY be coming back!!

We had a good stay at Tasu Toco. The accommodation was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The space was stylish overall, and very conveniently located a few seconds away from the metro station. Our host was very nice and gave us details about the place and many recommendations to eat and drink. A few things to know when staying at 岩間's: you can hear the train when it departs, so get some earplugs. Although there are some windows, it's kinda dark overall. Other than that we were happy with everything. Thank you again for having us!

This is our second stay here and we find this place really clean and convenient. Around 5-7 mins walk to Ikebukuro station it is a great place to stay for family. We will stay here again.

Very enjoyable stay and good location within walking distance from Shibuya and other stations. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a flight of steps to go down to access the property so you have to get your luggage back up on checkout which may be an issue for some. Otherwise very compact, clean and comfortable.

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

Satoshi is a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating to all my questions. The entire process, from booking to check-in and check-out, was smooth and hassle-free. The property itself is cozy, sweet, and feels just like home. Satoshi thoughtfully provided everything we needed, including towels, bottled water, tea, and more. My daughter especially loved the lovely scent of the soaps and shampoos! The elevator was a great convenience, and the heater was a lifesaver during the colder moments. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Nishikawaguchi Station and close to several convenience stores. We also appreciated the nearby halal restaurants, which made things easier for us. We had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to coming back again!

Byron was very friendly and communicative. Met us on arrival and gave helpful instructions about the house, area, and local shops. House was lovely and homey. Great kitchen and bbq, comfy futons, and spacious sleeping areas

Great location without being littered with tourists! Very peaceful neighbourhood, very convenient for buses and trains. Great cafe, bakery, konbini’s and quite a few restaurants at walking distance. 10 min by train to Shinjuku. Has all the amenities of a hotel, better than some APA hotel’s I stayed at. The only minus: need to go up at least 1 flight of stairs to get to the units (more if on a higher level), no elevator, can be hard if have heavy luggage. Tomoko was very responsive and helpful, she even offered up a 2 day train pass she had no need for! Very generous. I would definitely stay here again.

Kaori was a wonderful host - very responsive, kind, and helpful. She owns a cafe on the first floor of the property and upon arrival she offered us complimentary tea and cakes (they were both excellent). The rental unit was well-kept with a pleasant retro aesthetic.

Everything was so perfect from the beginning, when there was a sign at the street that led me to the entrance, until the end. Especially I would like to mention the laundry service. My laundry was washed, dried and bended from one day to the other at no extra cost or effort to me. That was extraordinary and my first time to experience at an Airbnb. For me the location and proximity to the Tsurumi River was ideal for running and preparing for Tokyo Marathon :-)

Ryo’s Shimokitazawa apartment is small and simple, but perfectly formed for a stay in a real neighbourhood and leaving feeling like you’ve had a glimpse of local life. A breath of fresh air after the hyper nature of places like Shinjuku, it’s a lively and super safe neighbourhood with fantastic vintage and bespoke shopping, cool and numerous little bars and restaurants, a great supermarket to cater cooking back in the apartment, and not overly touristy. Ryo is a fantastic host and I loved his comms from his messages to the brilliantly written house rules. I hope to stay again Ryo!

Kevin’s place was our first stop in Japan, location was great and we loved our stay. It was exactly as advertised.

This is our second time staying here and it was perfect as before. The location cannot be beat as it is close to everything and so close to the nearest train. The checkin was smooth and quick and Nanako is a fantastic host. There are really good restaurants nearby so ask for recommendations. There’s also a convenience store around the corner. The house is extremely spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Mieca was very communicative and check in was very easy. The apartment was very clean with a comfy bed. Area is amazing! Would highly recommend. Thanks Mieca 🙂
