It was a real joy to stay at Ellemiek's place. It was exactly as advertised and we felt right at home from the start. I've lived quite a few years in Rotterdam myself, and the two-story apartment felt like a luxurious and tasteful version of what people in Rotterdam live like. Everything is very spacious, the living room is cosy, the kitchen has got everything you need, and the big wooden table is exactly what you want. The ceilings are really high. The windows are big. The wooden floor is really nice. Big bathroom. Also the fact that they've got lots of books by Ursula Le Guin earns them a star or two. It was also just ideal for us as a family with two young kids. As they also have young kids, the house is equipped with everything you need: child seat, changing station, crib, plastic plates and cups, the works. On top of that the host went above and beyond. At some point where to get a baby seat, and they offered their own and delivered a few hours later. Highly recommended!

Gut ausgestattetes und gemütliches Häuschen mit großer Terrasse in ruhigem, familienfreundlichen Ferienhauspark. Perkfekte Kommunikation mit Gastgeberin, auch auf Deutsch. Wunderschöne Strände nur 15 Autominuten entfernt.

We had a really nice time in Brielle. The town is incredibly nice and there are plenty of walking paths for the dogs!

Der Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft war super, es war alles da und man kommt von dort zügig in die Stadt. Es gibt inzwischen keine kostenlosen Parkplätze mehr in der Straße, aber Annemarie hat uns eine Gegend empfohlen, in der wir kostenlos parken konnten. Auf Grund von Krankheit mussten wir früher abreisen und auch da ist sie uns für eine zukünftige Buchung entgegengekommen. Der Kontakt war stets freundlich, schnell und sehr hilfsbereit. Danke!

Magnifique séjour : le logement était impeccable, extrêmement bien situé et aussi ravissant que sur photos. Bel équipement et très propre. Un grand plus pour le système audio! Michiel, qui nous a aimablement accueilli nous a même laissé un accès anticipé au joli logement. Nous y retournerons bien volontiers.

Logement très lumineux, très propre et très bien équipé. La décoration est très soignée. La literie est d’assez bonne qualité. En automne, le logement est bien chauffé et c’est agréable. Il n’y a pas de douche dans le logement mais les douches dans les communs du camping sont propres et spacieuses. La terrasse extérieure et le jardinier doivent être un vrai plus quand le temps est ensoleillé. Pas de voiture dans le camping : elle reste sur le parking extérieur et le déchargement se fait avec un petit chariot mis à disposition. L’endroit est calme et paisible, retiré du village. Des promenades à pied ou à vélo sont accessibles depuis le logement. Rotterdam, Amsterdam ou La Haye sont à une heure de route au maximum pour des visites à la journée. Je recommande ce logement dans lequel nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à quatre (2 adultes et 2 adolescents). Patricia a répondu à toutes nos demandes rapidement et mis 2 grands vélos (trop grands pour nous) à disposition.

Herausragend schöne Unterkunft in einer schönen, familienfreundlichen Gegend.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Das Haus war sauber, und die Möglichkeit, eine weitere Person problemlos dazuzubuchen, hat uns sehr geholfen. Ein Highlight war die absolute Ruhe und die Nähe zum Wasser – nur wenige Minuten entfernt, perfekt zum Entspannen! Auch die Fahrräder im Schuppen waren ein toller Bonus für eine kleine Erkundungstour. Ein kleiner Hinweis für künftige Gäste: Es gab leider kein Holz für den Ofen vor Ort, und wir brauchten ein paar Anläufe, um welches zu besorgen. Am besten direkt in den Baumarkt fahren, der etwa 15 Minuten entfernt ist. Zudem ist die Treppe zum Obergeschoss und den Schlafzimmern recht steil und schmal, was vielleicht für Hundebesitzer gut zu wissen ist, die ihren Hund mal nicht eben auf den Arm nehmen können. Insgesamt können wir das Haus nur weiterempfehlen – es hat alles, was man für eine entspannte Auszeit braucht!

We huurden dit huisje voor een weekendje weg met 2 volwassenen, 1 kind en een hondje. We voelden ons allemaal meteen thuis. Ik had gevraagd of het mogelijk was slingers op te hangen voor de verjaardag van mijn vriend, en bij aankomst was het huisje leuk versierd. Bedankt hiervoor! Verder was aankomst en vertrek flexibel. Zowel het huisje als het park waren erg schoon en netjes. Ook heel veel te doen voor kinderen. Op de website van de Paardekreek staat dat de waterspeeltuin gesloten is, maar deze was (gelukkig) gewoon open. Het contact met Miriam en Jurjen verliep vriendelijk en soepel. We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad, een aanrader!

I know the area very well so it was exactly what I was looking for with my children. Easy access to beach, short distance to public transport and easy to get to and from the airport. In particular this house has amazing kitchen equipment. Everything is new and the cabinets and drawers full of good quality utensils as well as a gourmet and fondu pot if so inclined.

Ruim vakantiehuis. Wij zijn er geweest met 3 kleine kinderen en 4 volwassenen. Roderick heeft een reiswieg voor ons geregeld. Super geregeld. Houd er rekening mee dat het zwembad op het park niet te gebruiken is. Daarvoor moet je maar een park verderop, 7 minuten rijden.

Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Sie entsprach der Beschreibung und hatte keine Mängel. Der einzige kleine Minuspunkt ist das etwas trostlose Umland. Viele Felder :) Wer vernünftige Wälder, Routen zum Wandern oder Sandtstrand sucht muss dann etwas fahren. Für alle die einen ruhigen, ungestörten Ört mit einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe suchen ist dies die Perfekte Unterkunft.

Our stay was wonderful with an excellent house with modern decor. Really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the very slow Wi-Fi which was out of control of the host due to maximum limits in the area. Excluding this the place was 10/10

Great memories were made. What a beautiful, authentic and peaceful place. The house has a lot of space, open views and garden all around which gives a sense of freedom. For families with children quite ideal! When I say 'authentic', I am mainly referring to the original characteristics that were carefully 'saved' during the restoration of this old farm. You really feel being in a barn with all the modern convenience of today. Some memories made: We had some great chilly summer nights with a bottle of wine around the fire. Our eldest daughter discovered her interest for playing the piano and was playing the piano in the house quite a bit. Our baby started crawling and moved around the house quite a bit. Our middle one, (finally) learned how to bike and explored the area quite a bit (there is a bike rental very closeby and could recommend to rent bikes because it's a great way to explore the area. The Jura coffee machine is amazing and we decided to buy the same machine for our home! Lots of animals around the house. The cows are grazing around the house, the hares are playing in the field and there is a pair of woodpeckers around the house which was special. I enjoyed making tours on my race bike so much. My country is beautiful, especially this area with Brielle (old Dutch town), Oost Voorne and Rockanje (beaches) and lots of farms in the area. Highly recommended!

Wij vonden het huisje heel schoon en het bubbelbad was heerlijk! Ook de nabijheid van de bossen is een pluspunt.
