Our family absolutely loved our stay! The beach was sandy with shallow water - perfect for swimming and kids play. We felt rejuvenated after trips with the kayaks, wood fired saunas and coffees on the dock. The location is close to shops and restaurants as well. The cottage had all the amenities and was squeaky clean. The hosts were very responsive and proactive with their messages and never left us hanging. We will totally be booking again. :)

Great location, great host, great value

Even if the weather was bone chilling, the place was warm and nice. The complete absence of internet and TV, though an irritant in the beginning, was a blessing as we played a lot of board games and had quality time. The place could do with some upgrade. Mirror in the washroom, better quality coffee mugs, more and better towels. But the location, cabin like feel of the plade and the friendliness of Frank made up for it all Great things to do around, decent restaurants within 15 minutes of the place and scenic beauty ofvthe area were added values. A good place to spend some R&R.

Second stay for our family and we were not disappointed. Lovely place for some R&R and easy access to town to explore. Thanks again!

Ideal cottage getaway, nestled on the trees and by the river. Lovely accommodation. Everything has been thought of. We felt very much at home. We highly recommend.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful, it's what cottage dreams are made of, and Davinia & her family put in so much love to make you feel comfortable and special. Our family felt totally entertained, we slept well, we shared laughs and made memories here that will last a lifetime. We don't get to spend long stretches of time together like this, and this space easily accommodated each of us and gave us adequate privacy we each had privacy and felt happy with the sleeping arrangements. It was so lovely to have fires every day, the hot tub was incredible, and the cottage itself has a rustic yet modern vibe to it. The drive down from Toronto was also very easy. You will thoroughly enjoy your stay here, thank you Davinia & family for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we loved it!

We absolutely loved Patricia's home. It's a gorgeous, huge, amazing space, with 2 huge living rooms which was great with many people. The views from the kitchen alone were just lovely. I could have stayed in that kitchen for weeks. Everyone had their own rooms and lots of privacy. The wood burning stove leaves a great smell in the air, and warms your soul. Loads of blankets everywhere. Lots of towels for the hot tub and sauna. And the kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you could need. We made some amazing meals there. The town of Coldwater is a lovely little town with great shops. Everyone is so friendly. And I highly recommend checking out Em's Cafe for their amazing scones! Can't wait to come back again! Will definitely be visiting again in the summer. David was a great host and very responsive. The cottage fits 8 people comfortably with comfortable rooms and beds. The fireplace in the basement is a great place for family and friends to gather around and enjoy their time. There was a snowstorm when we were checking out so David told us we could stay as long as we want which was very kind. All in all a wonderful trip!
