I recently had the pleasure of staying at Central Old Town, and I must say it felt just like home. The accommodation was incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner was spotless, allowing me to relax without any worries. I was also impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms, which offered plenty of room to move around and unwind. Additionally, the location was wonderfully peaceful, making it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Nous avons passé une nuit merveilleuse dans une maison traditionnelle au bord des klongs. À notre arrivée, tout était organisé : notre hôte avait prévu le transfert depuis l’aéroport et nous a préparé un délicieux pad thaï (70 bahts) avec un jus de clémentine, que nous avons savouré sur la terrasse. La maison est confortable, avec une literie agréable et une chambre spacieuse à l’étage, offrant une belle vue sur la rivière. Dès 7h30, les bateaux circulent, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés. Notre petit-déjeuner en terrasse proposait un menu continental ou thaï, et nous avons choisi les plats traditionnels. Nous avons ensuite profité d’un massage à domicile (400 bahts), le meilleur de notre séjour en Thaïlande ! Puis, nous avons loué un longtail privé pour explorer les klongs, avec des rencontres de varans et la découverte de temples. Nous recommandons vivement cette maison, nichée dans un Bangkok authentique, loin des zones touristiques, avec un accueil chaleureux !

Really lovely accommodation close to Tha Phra MRT station (10-minute walk), which makes getting around the city super easy. The MRT is the Blue Line, which is the "Circle Line" of Bangkok, meaning you can connect to nearly every other MRT/BTS station you could need, although there are a ton of popular attractions directly on the Blue Line. The place itself is very spacious and homey. Comfortable bed, large room, clean bathroom, cold A/C, and a nice balcony for relaxing outside. There is a shared kitchen one floor below the room, and it has a kettle as well as a few pots and pans for making simple dishes. One of the biggest benefits is that there is a clean-water dispenser in the kitchen area, meaning that you don't need to buy water from local shops for the duration of your stay. Winai (the host) is incredibly kind and super communicative. He could not be more helpful, and any time I had to contact him he was quick to respond. I highly recommend this AirBnB!

I have been to lots of places but never had an expeirence for Airbnb. This was my first time and on top of it I brought my elderly parents as well. I can say that we LOVED the place. There was more than things that you would need. The place was like our home away from home. Everything was as described and they were so understanding that they let us stay in the living room beyond the time we booked for because of our 4 hours late flight time. Couldn't have asked for a better host and place literally. 5 star seems less, had it been upto me I would have given a 10 or 20 star.

Isra and his wife are amazing host. They really look after you no matter of the time. They are a lovely couple. Just for future stayers be aware that going back and Doherty always needs to be arranged in advance. Once, there make sure you have everything you need. Walking around the island is not very easy as from the place there is no route to just walk and go and explore. If you just want to stay in one place, this is ideal. My only negative is the mosquitos. You get bitten a lot. Maybe more things available to combat it like insect killing lights. More sprays, etc.
