Agnieszka was an amazing host. She was very friendly and welcomed us into her home. Everything was as described and very clean. Agnieszka went out of her way to make sure we were helped and had everything we needed including helping us with laundry. We felt right at home during our stay. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Husavik!

Lovely relaxed stay. Had everything our group of six needed. Loved cooking in the kitchen. Beds were great and the bathroom exquisite.

We had an amazing experience staying at this place. The harbour is just five minutes away from the place. This place is located on the third floor and there is no lift, so we had to carry all our luggage to The third floor. That’s the only drawback. Apart from that view from window was beautiful. We could see the Ocean and the mountains behind it on a good day, you might be able to spot whales Right from the house. The host was very friendly. He gave us some really good tips about whale watching tour and also helped us check the road conditions for a journey ahead

Hier kommt man an, wird persönlich begrüßt und fühlt sich gleich wohl. Das Haus ist sehr stylisch eingerichtet, mit vielen quirky und liebevollen Details und es gibt viel Platz. Highlight ist jedoch Haraldurs Garten mit zwei Hot Tubs und Goldfischteich.

The place is nice, we just spent the night there. You won’t find other places nearby actually :). The communication was clear and timely. Check in was good, although we needed to dig with shovels a bit as there was a lot of snow in from of the door (but we kinda liked it). The interior is simple but we had everything we needed.

This was a great place near Mývatn! It’s a great spot if you’re going to the nature baths or wanting to see all of the amazing things in that area.

I stayed a couple of nights at Elín’s Hólmavað Guesthouse. Despite being a short notice request Elín was very accommodating and able to host. The house was spacious and comfortable! It has a large bathroom compared to most places. Plenty of room and nice and warm. I was the only guest at the time and was able to enjoy the peace and quiet, the view of the farm fields, and the house amenities. Also I was able to do some much needed laundry! The guesthouse was just a 20 minute drive to Húsavík where there are restaurants, gas and grocery stores, and the relaxing Geosea thermal baths. And it's just a 35 minute drive to the Mývatn area. Elín and her husband were friendly and helpful, and I would love to book again when in the area.
