My family and I celebrated my 60th birthday. A beautiful barn minutes drive from Holt. The barn was so lovely like being at home. It was so well equipped. Lots of space and a Logburner. Underfloor heating. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and would love to go back again for sure.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough. Beautifully decorated with everything you need and more. Melissa and Chris were exceptionally warm in their welcome. Recommend the local dairy for raw milk, etc.

We had a memorable weekend at the barn. It is renovated to a very high standard and makes you feel you are somewhere special. The barn was spotlessly clean and we had the best welcome pack! The location is great for the beach and village amenities. A 10 minute walk and you are in the sand dunes. Emma is a conscientious host always prompt to answer questions and help. We would stay here again

Jill’s listing was a stunning place to stay. A real home away from home. It was even better than described with the most gorgeous surroundings. Nicely kitted out place with everything you’d need from films to bathrobes. Definitely recommend

The cottage was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and just as described on the listing. Homely touches were appreciated. Communication and support was on hand when needed. The owner was so helpful when we lost a parcel and had accidentally broken a wine glass. Thank you! Lovely loop walks on the doorstep and a steady 20 minute walk to a stunning beach. The dogs loved their holiday too. Thank you for the towels. The only issue we found was how slippery the wooden stairs to the second bedroom could be. Caution is needed when heading to the bathroom at night. The second bedroom is not fully walled off due to how the property is designed and so any sound in the communal area travels easily. Not really an issue for us though.

Our host reached out to check in on our arrival, making sure we were settled and knew how to use the amenities, including the hot tub. There were five of us, and the space was perfect for both cooking and relaxing. We were also given great recommendations for the local beach and a good chippy, plus the beach itself was lovely and sandy. The property is about a 30-40 minute drive from the city center but is surrounded by smaller towns, perfect for supporting local business at the Christmas markets or seal watching. I'd definitely return—it's in a great location with a lovely host.

Very cosy and relaxing. Loved the wood burner. Great for the dogs. Lovely walk to the beach and call in to the pub on the way home

The little Barn was so beautiful and so much better than the pictures. What made it really special was that Rebecca had decorated the living and kitchen area with a Christmas tree, fairy lights and a door wreath. We even had a little goody hamper left on the side for us. Myself and my daughter had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway. I will definitely be returning next year 🥰

Myrtle's Barn is a delight and we had the most wonderful pre-Christmas week. The barn has been beautifully converted and designed, and the kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked. Walks from the door step are delightful. The Christmas tree was a lovely bonus. Thanks so much, Victoria and team. We'd love to come back very soon!

A lovely place to say with a really responsive and kind host. Everything met my expectations. It was extremely comfortable and I enjoyed staying here very much. I was busy working so I didn’t have much time to enjoy the surroundings but it was lovely and relaxing, warm and comfortable, perfect for my needs. A good shower and plenty of nice touches made my stay really pleasant. After a long drive up from Sussex, I really appreciated being able to see the property so clearly, there was an illuminated sign outside to make it really visible in the dark, it was easy to find. Parking was really easy and very suitable even for my larger than normal work vehicle.

We stayed at Christmas and the barn was beautifully decorated with the most amazing tree and lights. It was very tastefully done and felt very special. The barn had everything we needed for a family Christmas. Plenty of space with excellent cooking facilities and all the equipment needed. The barn was spotlessly clean, with comfy beds and quality bed linen. Heating was also very effective which was important for elderly guests. Well located a few mins drive from the supermarkets .

Fantastic little cottage, close to Potters (which we needed as our Daughter was there in work experience). dog friendly which was great and such a lovely little place, with everything you need on hand. Will 100% be recommending to our friends and will be back in the summer ourselves also.

We were a family group of 8 in the area to visit a relative. The barn was perfect, very spacious and lots of games to entertain the children. It was very easy to contact the site manager with queries and she was very responsive. We would love to return.

Here’s a positive review based on those points: We had a fantastic stay! This was a last-minute booking, and what a great find. Sebastian was incredibly accommodating, also allowing for an early check-in and late check-out — super flexible. Communication was quick and responsive, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The space itself was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the beautiful art throughout the interiors — it gave the place such a unique and welcoming vibe. Plus, the location was perfect and peaceful. We’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage on a working farm with beautiful woodland and beach walks in the surrounding area.

Amazing place, lovely garden in the early spring sun, great amenities and very private. The local area was great, with plenty of nice pubs and great access to the wider area. check in process was simple and quick and Liz communicated well from the moment we booked. fully equipped house, everything you could ask for and some lovely touches. The stairs are historically authentic and therefore a challenge for younger children and people who lack physical mobility(as clearly stated and helpfully double checked by Liz herself). Overall wouldbe ideal for a set of couples or a family with slightly older children.

We came here for an anniversary and it was the perfect location. The pool table and the projector that you can play games or music through the speakers really made a difference, the kitchen is perfectly cookable in, although no oven we just bought an airfryer with us. The views were beautiful, it was a short drive from Wroxham or Norwich. The hosts were very accommodating and courteous to us and I really appreciate it. Couldn't recommend this place enough, we had so much fun, thank you!

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Andy and Katherine's place. It was cosy and peaceful. A great location. Really enjoyed the sauna and we are already missing Pepsi! Thank you!

We enjoyed a three night stay as a family of five. Mike's lovely barn is very spacious, spotless and comfortable. The beds & showers are luxurious. We had a great time playing games & eating lovely food from the local Indian restaurant. We visited the seals at Horsey beach and had invigorating beach walks. It's our third time in Norfolk and we always find it extremely relaxing and beautiful. Would come back to the barn next time, it was well equipped and in the warmer months the garden, summer toys and bbq would be an added bonus! Thank you, Mike.

The most beautiful setting for a girls weekend away! The cottage was absolutely perfect, and the addition of having complimentary access to the health club and spa for the duration of our visit was a real treat! The communication for the host and the warm and friendly welcome from the spa staff was fantastic. We enjoyed the local circular walk as recommended and booked treatments in the spa, went to Sandringham for afternoon tea which was just a short drive away and found some fabulous places to explore locally! We will definitely be returning, it was a perfect stay in every way!

Sam & Bruce's place was lovely. We stayed there with our 2 young children 6 & 2. They were so accommodating letting the kids roam around and help feed the animals. Amazing place to stay and amazing people that make you feel very welcome throughout your stay. They couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be returning.

my wife & myself stayed in Feb & ive got to say everything was spot on exactly as detailed & more, not mentioned were the games that were stored to be played, eco friendly shower 7 sink products. How quaint the Flint house was as well no detail over looked extremely clean, nothing was not thought about & the attention to detail was second to none & prove you do not have to travel far to find an absolute Gem on our doorstep if 6 stars were available id have ticked it we had a fab time & hopefully next time some fresh eggs Well done

Beautiful property, easy check in. Lots of little items like cookies and snacks on arrival. The underfloor heating was nice. Overall a really lovely property and booked again. Highly recommend.
