“Genevieve” the RV was perfect. It was in a very private location and was beautiful on the inside. Overall very comfortable and we would absolutely stay there again.

This cottage is hands down the best AirBnB in the entire Norfolk/Portsmouth area. Great location, great cottage and an awesome host! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at The Canary Island! Pete & Kim are amazing hosts! The house was stunning, so beautifully decorated and the scenic view on the back deck is everything and more! We had everything we needed and more for our weekend stay, from complimentary coffee, soda, wine and water to all toiletries that we could possibly need. I loved all the personalized recommendations for restaurants and beaches. Pete & Kim went above and beyond to make my children's birthday extra special by welcoming us with balloons, snacks, birthday decorations & even added American flags for my son who is a Marine. It was so thoughtful and we truly felt welcomed. Thank you so much for helping us to feel at home!

Beautiful home. Very modern updates and furnishings. Very comfortable. Views can't be beat! Owners were very responsive to questions about the property. Would stay here again!

This home was the PERFECT getaway space. It was in a quiet, peaceful, and safe neighborhood but just 10-15 minute drive to the beach. The house was just immaculate- one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. It is a nice big open space. It was fully stocked with everything you could ever imagine needing- lots toiletries in case guests forgot anything, coffee, snacks. Kitchen was full stocked with tons of appliances, plenty of plates and glasses, etc. the views off the back porch were just gorgeous, and we got to go kayaking in the river. There was a very impressive game closet filled with so many good games! The gas fire pit on the back porch was a lovely touch. The homeowners were so friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Also, checkout instructions were easy which is always a win in my book. 10/10 Airbnb. Will absolutely stay here again when we’re in the area.

Our stay at Christina’s bayfront cottage was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked our last-minute trip, she went above and beyond to accommodate us, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Her kindness and attentiveness made us feel truly welcomed—she even checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself is a slice of heaven—peaceful, beautifully maintained, and offering breathtaking waterfront views. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying glass of wine/ coffee while watching the sunrise over the bay was pure bliss. Every little detail made our stay special. We enjoyed every second of our short getaway and are already dreaming of coming back. If you’re looking for a serene escape with a fantastic host, this is the perfect spot!

This tiny house was the best! So cute and clean - it had everything we needed! Because we were there in March, the heat had to be switched to cool and as soon as I messaged John he responded with clear instructions and we were very comfortable all weekend. The bikes were perfect for relaxing rides around the neighborhood. And the paddle boat was extra fun - had my daughter and I laughing and looking for turtles! Just a short drive to the public beach area (also walkable if you don't have much stuff to carry with you). We would highly recommend this spot.

This was my second stay at Kathy’s and it was great. The location is perfect. Within easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and a local brewery. And the fenced in yard was perfect for my pups.

The house is amazing! It is very well decorated and feels comfy. Our hosts were so helpful. One of them reached out to our teens with fishing rods and a corn hole set. They also had the exact amount of chairs for the firepit. The wood was already chopped and they had a bucket of sand for extinguishing the fire. Each bedroom had a welcome tray, with necessities needed and some treats for pampering. These 2 think of everything. The coffeee bar was set up with creamer, sugar, coffee pods, to-go cups with lids and stirrers. A display of blueberry scones on the coffee bar was a special touch. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner amd body wash. The sink had hand soap and lotion. One of my favorite touches was the black washcloths over the sink. Anyone who wears makeup knows those bright white towels look awful if you don't get every bit of makep off. My family and inwill be back. We were there only for the weekend, unfortunately. Our next stay will be a few days.
