Cristina was great! Super responsive and helpful. The place was incredible - one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. The house is gorgeous, spotless and spacious. The views from the bedrooms are incredible. You can stay in or you can go hiking or kayaking. We’ll definitely be back!

Wow!! Stunning, stunning accommodation! Excellent and responsive communication from the hosts. We appreciated the early checkin. The welcome honey and other drinks received were very tasty. The house was easy to find with Rafael’s instructions and checkin was seamless. Everything was spotless with all needed amenities. It was fantastic to have BBQ’s with the river back drop or just to sit and enjoy the awesome environment. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home. Definitely recommended, without any hesitation.

Wir waren in 10 Tagen in 4 Orten in Portugal und haben diesen Ort und diese Unterkunft als letzten unserer Reise ausgewählt und uns hat es am besten von allen vorherigen Unterkünften gefallen! Die Unterkunft hatte das Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock und das Wohnzimmer mit Küche im Erdgeschoss. Das Schlazimmer war sehr groß mit einem zusätzlichen Balkon und schönen Fenstern zum sitzen. Das Wohnzimmer war auch sehr gemütlich. Wir konnten mit dem Auto direkt vor der Unterkunft parken, was sehr praktisch für Einkäufe gewesen ist. Uns wurden auch noch SUP Boards und Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt, welche wir in unserer kurzen Zeit dort leider nicht benutzt haben. Unser Ziel war es nämlich eher den Nationalpark mit Wanderungen zu erkunden. Sehr empfehlenswert! Im Sommer kommen wir dann vielleicht nochmal wieder um mit den SUP Boards auf den See zu gehen.

Una casa confortable y espaciosa. Camas muy cómodas. Habitaciones completas cada una con baño propio. Espacio exterior que le da un plus a la casa. Pedro y Cristina muy atentos a nuestras necesidades y muy amables. Experiencia recomendable.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Freundlicher Empfang. Ruhige Gegend. Strand und See fußläufig erreichbar. Wir waren leider nur kurz da und dies während dem Unwetter, würden aber sofort wieder zu Bob und Lore kommen.

Espaço acolhedor e com privacidade, tal e qual como descrito nas informações do alojamento. Reservamos por causa das boas valiações que vimos e partilhamos da mesma opinião! Noites tranquilas, sem qualquer barulho e ainda conseguimos ter a oportunidade de ver uma raposa que ali passava perto do local: foi uma visão muito bonita e que só demonstra o quão real é o ponto "Natureza e tranquilidade". Queremos voltar e repetir a experiência! Foram super simpáticos e prestáveis o tempo todo! Nota: O jacuzzi é confortável mas aconselhamos que o liguem umas boas horas antes de quererem utilizar porque é normal demorar a aquecer ehehe

Isabel aime sa ville, et elle vous le transmet. Elle nous a donné de nombreuses recommandations et propositions fort utiles. Après avoir discuté avec elle, elle est allé chercher des adresses correspondantes aux envies que nous avions. Isabel est une hôte en or, et son logement, notamment avec la vue sur le Douro, est particulièrement agréable et plutôt calme, collé au centre historique.

I hadn’t researched the area well when I booked this home and didn’t realize that we’d be on the other side of the river from Porto. I’m so glad that I didn’t know as I might not have booked and we were thrilled with the location and the home. Being on the river was like watching a movie at all hours of the day and night. We loved the walks across the bridge to Porto and enjoyed the riverside restaurants and activities on both sides. The apartment is quiet and has very comfortable beds which is more important the older we get. There are stairs with the apartment on three levels. We enjoyed our brief times on the terrace and would have spent more time there in better weather. Isa responded quickly when we had a challenge with the washing machine and it was fixed the next day. She also showed me how to use the coffee machine, which produces fabulous coffee. It wasn’t difficult but I needed help. The place has everything needed for a great visit and we highly recommend it.

The apartment was so cozy, we were grateful for the little local treats that were left for us it was such a nice touch. The apartment was clean and had a beautiful view of the river from the bedroom windows. The small town was quaint and we enjoyed immensely walking around trying all the amazing restaurants and enjoying the beach. My family and I can’t wait to visit this amazing place again soon!!! Thank you for an amazing little getaway!!

My family loved staying at this beautiful suite in the heart of Vila Nova de Gaia! We felt absolutely at home, while being so close to many walkable areas. We will definitely stay again!

It is delighted that Sonia had tried her best to make our early check-in become possible. She welcomed us directly with a brief introduction of the accommodation. The house is clean and comfortable to all of us. Sónia’s place, located in Vila Nova da Gaia is a convenient location good to everywhere esp. it is walking distance to nearby sight-seeing place such as Jardim do Morro Hilltop park, Dom Luís I Bridge and Ribeira neighborhood etc. Fantastic views in both day and night could be viewed from both inside and outside of the house. Overall, good stay and will re-book Sonia’s house in the next time. Vincent

The location of the house is great, at the very center of Porto so you can reach everywhere by walk. If you want to visit other cities, Sao Bento train station is less then 5min by walk. The place is super clean and well equipped with everything you may need. Moreover, as you can see in the pictures but even more impressive in real, the house is decorated delicately. You can feel Margarida’s artistic touch of everywhere. Altough Margarida doesnt speak English, communication with her was unique. She is extremely kind, warm, caring, caring, helpful, reaponsive. Talking with her was like having a conversation with a close friend you havent seen for a while and that made me feel like home. Thank you so much Margarida for eveything! I hope to see you soon again

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la Casa Eira. Le logement correspondait parfaitement aux photos. L'environnement est calme et paisible. Idéal pour déconnecter et se reposer. Nous avons adoré. Les propriétaires sont très réactifs et viennent en aide au moindre souci. Nous recommandons et nous reviendrons.

We had a great stay here. The property was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideal for our needs. The wood burner made the living room lovely and cosy and we were grateful for the supplies of wood. Would 100% recommend!

Ganz besonderer Ort direkt am Douro. Wunderschöne Terrasse mit Pool, Liegen und Garten mit Obstbäumen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.

Wer das freie und unabhängige Reisen an den unterschiedlichsten Orten und in verschiedensten Unterbringungen über airbnb liebt und Portugal ebenfalls, der muss unbedingt in der alten Wassermühle von Julio gewesen sein. Wir haben haben die Gegend zwischen Lissabon und Porto bereist und vier Nächte bei Julio verbracht und es sehr genossen. Die Freundlichkeit von Julio, die Ruhe und die Natur rund um die Mühle, Tagestouren in der Gegend oder nur das Verweilen in dem wunderschön angelegten und sehr gepflegten Garten haben uns begeistert.

Ha sido la mejor experiencia hasta la fecha que he tenido. Todo estaba impecable, Moncho nos recibió desde el principio con una amabilidad increíble y me he sentido como en casa. La casa es super bonita con unas vistas preciosas y una limpieza del 10. Da gusto encontrar gente así y con una cercanía y calidad humana que hoy en día es difícil encontrar. Todas las valoraciones que haga son pocas porque de verdad el piso es 100% recomendable si se busca tranquilidad, relax , confort y buen trato. Moncho no dejó de demostrar atenciones hacia nosotros, nos dejaron tomates,café, agua, etc no sé cosas que demuestran que les importa como se sientan sus huéspedes y eso es muy importante. Graciasssss y volveremos sin duda
