Joe was extremely helpful and flexible both at check-in and checkout. The house is very clean and comfortable , we were 4 and our small dog. It is situated on a very quiet street.The backyard is great , it leads to a river that you can paddle (in season, we were there for thanksgiving). The house is an easy 25 minutes from Newport , you will need a car to do things in the area. The driveway easily accommodates 2 cars. We will probably come back, but in the warmer months!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hosts were very accommodating with any questions I had, and our group absolutely loved kayaking to Homosassa river straight from the Airbnb! The location was so beautiful and lush, and I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

My group and I had an amazing stay! Corey and Armando were amazing hosts; super responsive to any questions and flexible to my requests. They even provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. Home was beautiful and in a great area. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely lovely location. The house is great, maybe a touch disorganized, but I'm also a little OCD. Johnna was lovely, very responsive and friendly and the house really did work great for our Thanksgiving get together! Thank you!

This was such a great house in a perfect location to easily head over to N. Padre. Our small dogs enjoyed the backyard and dock as much as we did. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We did not have any issues and the owners are very responsive if you need any help. Great place to be if you want to fish at the canal, head up the street to the intercoastal or over to N. Padre/Port A. HEB, Starbucks, restaurants and bait shops are a 5-10min drive.

Beautiful, private, relaxing stay in the Nature. The cottage has absolutely everything you will need for a whole family including babies to have a great vacation. Luisa was a great host and made us feel most welcomed! She suggested activities in the area around in addition to those available at the cottage itself and answered promptly, when we needed her help. Thank you for everything! :-)

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

What a place… A weekend getaway for the wifes birthday… quiet lake, senic ride up, great cottage… 10/10 and thats with goin in february so I can only imagine in the summer. Fishing was good and the outdoor rink was awesome too. Highly recommend this cottage and Dan was a fantastic host!

our stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge was great! it was such a peaceful getaway, surrounded by nature and wildlife. We had an issue with the tv the first night and it was fixed the next morning once we had let the host know! The welcome package and videos included were super helpful for getting to know the property and how to use the wood stove. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived but that was an easy fix and about where the list of downsides ends. I would definitely recommend booking this place for a nice getaway!

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! The water views were simply gorgeous. Our two dogs were very comfortable and loved the yard. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the screened in porch. The only thing I would give a heads up on are the roosters next door. They started crowing at 6:30am and didn’t let up until 8:30am. Then they randomly crowed throughout the day. It didn’t really bother me, but it woke up my kids and thus they woke up my husband and myself. So, just something to be aware of. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

We had a great time trading the Indiana cold for manatees, fresh seafood, warm weather and beachside sunsets. The place was perfect with great amenities!

Had a great stay and enjoyed every moment as well even got to experience a storm on the water. 😱

It was lovely to stay at your cabin for two nights. Very relaxing being offline. The hottub and firepit are a fun way to relax together. Keep up the good work

Beautiful spot right on the bayou. So quiet and peaceful, we didn't want to leave. House has everything you need, nicely furnished, very clean, great natural light, like living in the trees. It's a wonderful place!

We decided last minute to book. I was worried that the automatic reply stated the host had 24 hours to approve/respond. Lynn was so quick to respond and had went and turned the heat on for us.

Rob and Wanda were excellent hosts. They gave clear and precise instructions for check in, and made sure we felt right at home. The site was beautiful and the scenery was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay.

My teen age son and I stayed here for a few days for his bass fishing tournament. Great location and very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here agian. Carrie is a great host. Thanks for your quick responses.
