Everything as described, a good host, Therese gave us information about local bakers and some eating establishments which were excellent. We would certainly go again, the weather was in our favour, which was another bonus

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay.

Great place to stay on Bute and host was very communicative. The place was spotless.

We all had a lovely stay, apartment spotless and had everything we needed. Some nice walks and the view from the balcony and bedroom windows in the apartment was amazing. Perfect getaway spot for digital detox and splendid isolation... The pod is in a spectacular location, and easily accessible given it's remoteness. Inside the pod there is everything you need for a cosy few days, with the beach a couple of mins walk. Hosts were helpful and responsive, with excellent instructions and communication. Heartily recommended 👍

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Arran staying in this lovely flat and will definitely come back! It’s a beautifully decorated place and has everything you need there, it’s a very well kitted out kitchen. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend people coming to the island to stay here as it makes your holiday even better!

A really peaceful, beautiful spot on the Island of Bute with views out to sea and the mountains of Arran across Ettrick Bay. Very quiet spot with wildlife all around. Seals basking on the beaches around the island. If you like peace and quiet this is the place to go.

Loved our stay here on Great Cumbrae. Sarah’s place is quaint and cozy and it was perfect for us. Lovely views across the bay from the lounge windows. Great proximity to all amenities. We hired bikes from Mapes (the bike shop next door) and circumnavigated the island - it’s only 10 miles! We also visited various pubs and restaurants in Millport during our short visit. All a hop or two from our base. Sarah was kind, helpful and very responsive and from beginning to end our experience was a pleasure. Would highly recommend this destination and this lovely place from which to enjoy it.

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Breeze East over New Year! The views from the house are amazing, the place is spacious, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. There’s lovely walks very close by to the house, which was perfect for New Year’s Day!

Had a lovely comfortable stay, slept well and was very cosy, beautiful bedding. Kitchen and bathroom - and throughout - were pristine. Easy to find and access, and clearly marked parking. The lit Christmas tree, and bottle of wine, were very much appreciated, as was the flexible entry time and instructions from Valerie! Just lovely - thank you for having us :)

Family of 5 just returned from a three night luxury stay at Otterburn House. Rothesay has a special place in my heart, having been a frequent visitor as a child. We were immediately impressed by the luxury decor and immense homely feeling of the house. Everything was considered with the house fully equipped with an amazing kitchen and living space. I loved loved loved our stay and had brilliant sleeps in the comfy beds. Thanks to Barbara for adding a personal touch and always at hand to ensure every need was met. Currently looking at when we can return to this outstanding property.

Jess’s cottage firstly is in a stunning location. Situated right on the beach with direct access from the cottage via the very spacious garden. In spring the location must be a haven for birdwatchers, thankfully in winter the French door provided a good viewpoint for us. The cottage is ideal for a party of up to 6, although we were only two. The house has a beautiful flow throughout and would provide great communal space but also enough room for quiet space. All amenities were excellent and the coffee machine was very good. The best secret is the sound system. Quality Bose speakers and a fantastic cd and cassette player. As our stay was over New Year, special mention goes to the heating system, making everywhere comfortably cosy. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jess’s cottage for exploring the Isle of Bute. It provides superb self catering accommodation and again the location is excellent.

Luke place was absolutely amazing! very clean, very spacious and had everything we could possibly ask for. The view to the sea is beautiful and it was so lovely to have an access from the garden directly to the beach. Luke was extremely helpful and kind. On the day we left our car got stuck in the mud on the way to the main road and Luke went out of his way to help us, eventually towing us with his truck, making sure we are making it in time to the ferry. Thanks a lot for that!! highly recommend!

Bentfield was simply magic. It was everything and more quirky, eclectic and homely the perfect place for our family get together traveling from New Zealand and corners of the UK, when our time was up we really didn’t want to leave. From family meals in the dining room, to chilling out in the sunroom to watching the sun go down over Arran on the lawn we made lots of memories.

The whole family loved the location, the house, the garden, the views and access to the beach. Very quirky and interesting home with great accommodation for our numbers. It took us a while to locate everything in both house and garden but that was part of the fun of it especially for the children.

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!

perfecte locatie voor ons doel om vlak bij trouwlocatie te zijn van onze zoon. we konden heerlijk met hele gezin hier verblijven en omkleden. Er kwam een kapster aan huis waar ruimte genoeg voor was. de fotograaf kwam nog prachtige fotos maken waar huis bijzonder geschikt voor was. Van alle gemakken voorzien. vooral stoom strijkijzer was perfect en goed gebruikt voor alle feestkleding. helaas geen gebruik kunnen maken van de mooie grote tuin ivm te korte tijd en het weer. Al met al top locatie en prachtig groot huis voor vele mensen.

Allison's Manor was beautiful and spacious for sixteen of us. It had absolutely lovely surroundings and Allison was so helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to go back one day!
