A lovely spot just off a stunning beach. Nice and peaceful and well appointed.

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

We were very pleased with our accommodation. Lots of room for the 6 of us and 2 bathrooms with showers is great for a group our size. A real bonus to have free laundry facilities available during our visit to Scotland. Our host was very responsive to our needs and gave great local recommendations.

We have had a great stay! The house was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t need Kate but we felt confident she would help with anything as her communication was spot on!The local post office in Blackwaterfoot was perfect for groceries and the hotel and roll shop were brilliant for eating out. Loved our stay on Arran!

Lovely accommodation and excellent communication from the host.

Me and my friends all really enjoyed staying at Catherine’s place and it provided us the peaceful break we came here for. The location is excellent as there’s shops not too far away but the property is secluded enough that you get your own peace and quiet still. The property looks like what you see in pictures and it is extremely spacious and clean. Catherine’s communication and check in instruction were very clear and helpful.

The house was superb! Nice and spacious rooms across the entire home. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone!

This is a very nice place to stay in Troon. Quiet, on the water front, with beautiful surroundings. My boys and I loved the welcoming baked treats laid out on the counter for our arrival. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you to whoever for opening your home…

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

What a lovely spot! Convenient to everything (we were using public transportation to get around), yet so quiet and private. We had such an enjoyable stay!

Our recent 2 night stay was exactly what we were looking for - total relaxation. The pod was spotless and well appointed in relation to crockery, utensils and cleaning products. The whole outside area was just perfect and completely private. The privacy screens on the pergola were very handy as it was really windy and we were able to pull them down to stop all the leaves getting in the tub. Loved the list of recommendations for places to eat - we opted for the Royal Bar, and it didn’t disappoint. Communication from Bruce from start to finish was excellent. Would definitely recommend this for a totally relaxing time. Loved every minute of it. Thanks guys

Despite visiting during a storm it felt very cosy and peaceful. Beautiful scenery and walks close by. Great location for a chill weekend away. We will definitely be back xx

We had a lovely few days at the lodge. It’s in beautiful surroundings and with amazing views and walks nearby. Katherine was an amazing host- offering us advice and help at all times. The lodge was cosy with a lovely log burner and campfire. We used the nearby portavadie swimming facilities including outside pool which was out of this world. A beautiful part of the world I would definitely recommend!

Brilliant hosts and very accommodating especially since we stayed during probably the worst storm in years. Barbara let us use there cottage that had a log burner and hot water as there was a power cut. Her husband even brought Chinese from takeaway so we had a hot meal. Thank you for a great stay in very difficult conditions.

The Wee Hoose is an amazing place surrounded by beautiful countryside. Louise gave us very clear instructions and we found the place with no problems at all. It’s a lovely place and immaculately clean with a well stocked kitchen and Louise even left us a little treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we felt welcomed.
