Beautiful cottage 20min from downtown north bay, quiet street, well furnished, very responsive owners ( had a small issue with hot tub in next few hours host came over resolved issues. Highly recommend

We booked this place for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life to relax and enjoy the calm. This place truly delivered! It was beautiful, cozy and the hot tub sure relaxed us! I would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

This was our second stay at The Canoe and it was fantastic, yet again. Always welcomed with fresh baked bread and treated to fresh eggs during our stay. The cabin is perfect for my family of four. It is super clean and well stocked. Looking forward to going back next year. ☺️

The lazy lakehouse was exactly what my friends and I were looking for, with the sauna and hot tub it was the perfect combination for relaxation in the winter. The cottage was a perfect size for our getaway. Leigh, the host was awesome, very responsive and helpful for anything we needed, and was also proactive in giving us all the information we needed ahead of time.

Our family had a great stay at Lucy and Will's property. It was an exceptionally snowy winter weekend while we were there, and she was kind enough to be flexible when we wanted to change our arrival and departure times to avoid the worst of the road conditions. The kitchen is nice and everything was fully functional. The only thing that we couldn't figure out how to use was the gas fireplace. The location is convenient to Arrowhead Provincial Park. The cottage is spacious and can host two small families comfortably. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and in the garage, even if it was quite cold at times. Thank you for the stay!

Cozy house in a very quiet street. Fully stocked, there’s everything you need and more. Very clean too. Shops are close so it’s easy to get groceries. Beautiful region. We had a great time, and would stay there again.

Great place for winter, very peaceful. The size fits 6 people comfortably and is well equipped for everything we needed. The best part is the Scenic view of the lake and forest from the living room.

Nick and Jenn are excellent hosts. Their cottage was the perfect place to enjoy meals and get peaceful rest at the end of hard day at work. The place felt comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Crew enjoyed the stay so much, had to rebook another two week stay.

We had a great time at Yvonne's place over the holidays. The cottage is extremely cozy and homey, and the property is beautiful. It's a great view overlooking the lake, and with all the snow on the trees it was magical. The cottage was equipped with everything you need from cookware, board games, books, fire wood, streaming services and lots of extra blankets which we appreciated! We would love to visit here again and experience it in the summer months too. Yvonne was very responsive to our questions and needs, and is extremely friendly. We highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Yvonne!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to come together for a peaceful family Thanksgiving weekend away. The Whitestone was perfect for our two families to come together to enjoy nature, games, movies, a holiday meal and eachother's company. We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again!

John & Gina’s cottage was the perfect place to celebrate a milestone birthday in our family. The cottage was just as advertised; clean, newly renovated, great waterfront, & spacious for our group of 6. We really enjoyed the waterfront and dock. Our stay at was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Lorn and Diana were incredibly accommodating and always available to help us with any questions we had about the area or the accommodations. Their hospitality truly made our trip memorable. Amazing cottage and great hosts. Early check-in time at 11 am! Late check-out time (the host said we could leave any time and stay as late as we like) - this was the best! Usually hosts require early check-out from a cottage which is super inconvenient - but here you can stay as long as you want and actually enjoy your last day. A bottle of wine and a thank you card upon arrival! The cottage is amazing: super comfortable, the bathroom is great, modern shower, kitchen is very well stocked (so many dishes, glasses, utensils, everything) - above and beyond other cottages. The location is private with a gorgeous view of Pickerel like, private dock, several sitting areas so you can move between them with the sun throughout the day, beautiful area to make the fire. We loved kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards, plenty of life vests. Starlink wifi worked great. Great hosts, so responsive at all times before and during the stay when we had questions. We loved this cottage!

We spent two nights at the cottage and that was awesome. Angela made it very simple with clear information about dos and don't. Available outdoor activities are great and even enjoyed lighting the firepit. I would definitely rent again and highly recommend Angela 's cottage as it is found in very quiet and peaceful place. not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

this place is everything and more.. its secluded..but close to the lake.. sadly it was raining and we could not visit the lake.. but the cottage had everything we needed.. it was warm anf welcoming.. very clean.. had all the amenities...Darren was soo kind always offering to take us to the lake making sure we knew where everything was.. drew us a map which was helpful..Nadine was really prompt and accommodating of our request.. 10/10 would recommend and visit again..
