First, Doug and Marcia are lovely folks - warm and helpful. The views of their farm, the animals, and the mountains from the porch are terrific. The rooms are very clean and they make it extra nice with snacks and brochures with information about the area. We will be back!

Cannot say enough great things about this place! Their home was so clean and we loved how they decorated! In the heart of Valle Crucis which is stunning. Very close to the Mass General Store. Easy drive to Boone, Blowing Rock & Banner Elk. The host were so nice and welcoming! We loved the fire! We definitely want to come back asap!! Thank you so much for being great host!

Rich and Trisha’s guest house was an absolute treat! It was the perfect peaceful getaway. While I was in town for a funeral, their beautiful property made everything so much more comforting and calming to me and my two pups. The beds were cozy and clean, the views were stunning, and the treats they left on arrival were so appreciated! Their pup ginger is also such a sweetie. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We had a very comfortable stay at Chris's historic home. The home itself was like a museum with so many fun and interesting things to look at. It has been very well maintained. Everything was clean. The bathrooms have been thoughtfully updated. The beds are super comfortable. Chris was very responsive and super helpful with our last minute special request. We recommended this home to our friends and family. We would choose this place again!

The hosts were very very responsive. Very clean Cabins too. Even though pets are allowed, there was no sign of pets inside, very well cleaned. We had a very small concern, and they were right there the second I messaged them! Very very helpful! We will definitely start booking our family reunion June stays here from now on!

Our stay at the Barn Quilt Farmhouse was wonderful! The house was so comfortable and welcoming! It was decorated beautifully, and it had everything you could possibly need. Our mornings were filled watching the birds and lambs play while we drank our coffee. The sunsets over the mountain range were a gift from God. We loved our stay and will definitely be going back!

I enjoyed my stay immensely! The no TV, no internet, technology free weekend was a great get-away for this workaholic! The screened in porch was my favorite place to lounge around. The mile long path around the pond was pleasant as was the fresh fruit available on Tom’s fruit trees. The birds, butterflies, herons, and rabbits added to the experience I was looking for. There is nothing more relaxing than watching nature in action. Rain or shine the cabin, the screened porch, and the walking path provided a serene get-a-way. It rained each day I was there and sitting on the screened porch watching the storm was fascinating (and I stay dried). The outdoor shower on the screened porch was an amazing experience!! Everyone needs to try one. Wow! The interior of the cabin is truly rustic and made of wood which added to the whole “nature” experience I was looking for. Tom was a wonderful host! I spent some time talking with him. He shared fascinating stories about the cabin and farm!

This place was simple and amazing! Such a gorgeous view - we wanted to sit outside in the rocking chairs all days. Perfect place for a small reunion with children. We would definitely rent again - hosts were super responsive.

This cabin has the best bathroom fixtures of any that we stayed at on this trip. We enjoyed our dinner in nearby Elkins. If our extended family were with us I am sure they would enjoy the fusball game & checkers table. We were tired after a long drive in the car, so we just went to bed early.

We loved the animals!!! So friendly and cute, they would come to the fence to greet us! The house was so cute and clean, and the scenery is just beautiful. We would love to come back. Thank you Lacy for greeting us and making us feel comfortable!

My stay at Jack and Jen's was really lovely! I was in town for a conference and it was super nice to be able to just drive 15 minutes to downtown and then come back to something nice and quiet. The back screened porch was perfect for hanging out and just listening and looking at the world!

Shannon and Brian were great and the property was amazing. We were free to roam the property, view the animals, and even fish. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely book here again. Thank you for a perfect mini vacation.

This beautiful and cozy home had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor space and the inside was clean with all the amenities we needed. Doris and Shanna really thought of everything and left little touches that meant a lot- s’mores ingredients and sparklers for the kids, comfortable bedding with extra blankets, family games etc. It’s been our favorite place we’ve stayed at thus far. We felt secluded but it was only a quick drive for food and outdoor adventures. If you want a mountain retreat to refresh your soul, look no further!

Such a lovely farm! I felt so calm and peaceful surrounded by the beautiful trees , nicely manicured grounds, and best of all, the horses. Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lodge. The outdoor scenery was breathtaking. It was plenty of room for my family & I had zero problems checking in & out. The only issue I had was with the fireplace. I messaged Ashley if it was ok to start a fire & she informed me that the fireplace was out of order. Other than that, everything was perfect.

This is a GREAT place to stay!!! 2nd time staying here and we’ll be back soon!! Emily was great on communication. 5⭐️ all away around!!! Wish I could give more!!

Amazing stay despite the tropical storm, the hosts are so welcoming and always checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We would absolutely love to be back once everything is open again!

Beautiful home and property 20 min from downtown Asheville. We had a great time feeding the animals and the property has great views of mountains in the background. It is close to Asheville if you want to visit the city and it is close to the mountains for good hiking and views. Would stay here again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay on the farm. It was cold outside, but we were cozy inside. We appreciated that the fridge had a few items (butter) that we forgot to bring, and there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. It is also very close to Grayson Highlands State Park. I recommend bringing your groceries in with you, as the closest store is about 30 minutes (which Tina helped us find). Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Can’t recommend it enough. Heathers house is cozy and welcoming. She was attentive and had answers to all our questions. The outdoor space with amenities like the basketball court, swing and seeing the cows right across was so nice to enjoy with the whole family. We definitely see ourselves coming to visit in the near future!!!

We had such a nice stay at Tina’s farmhouse. Our children loved the animals and the huge yard to play in. The house was a perfect fit for what we were looking for. It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home. We were only staying two days so we didn’t pack a ton but the house was stocked with anything we would need. We fell in love with Otis the cat and looked foward to his visits every day. Overall great value and the perfect stay if you are looking to relax and unwind.

We really enjoyed our visit; the weather was perfect, and the house was a perfect location for our family trip.
