Laura was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had all the amenities during our stay. She was very quick to respond and ensured any issue was handled quickly. I would certainly recommend her for anyone interested to book at her house. My family and I felt at home and really enjoyed our stay! Laura is a lovely lady!

We stayed two nights at the Riverhouse Retreat over the Thanksgiving holiday. Homemade pumpkin bread and quiche were provided upon our arrival, which was a pleasant surprise and both were delicious. The location was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time there, which included a half-day canoe/kayak float down the Editso River. The only slight issue was not having photos or a description of the sandy gravel road that connects the highway to the house, so we were at first uncertain if Google Maps was taking us the right way when we arrived. Monica called us right back about that and was a kind and thoughtful host throughout our stay.

We loved our beautiful retreat on Bohicket Road! Candice’s home is gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded by nature, and it was a fun and stunning place to relax with our family and two dogs for an extended three week stay. (The pups loved it too!). It was an easy half hour drive into Charleston - with so many phenomenal restaurants and so much history to explore there. But we also thoroughly enjoyed John’s Island - the restaurants and bars closer to ‘home’ like Tattooed Moose, Lowtide Brewing, Wild Olive, Lost Isle and Royal Tern. Candice’s home and property were very much as described - with a breathtaking view of the channel and marsh, a long pier and deep water dock, a lovely pond and spacious deck and yard, with plenty of seabirds right out the back door. The decor is lovely but not too ‘fancy’ to feel comfortable and right at home with our dogs. Candice is friendly and responsive, a kind and gracious host who was welcoming and attentive to our needs from start to finish.

We had a great time and this was the perfect set up and location for a local family wedding. We were able to get in and out easily, and Meghan was the perfect host, always answering any questions that I had and was proactive by reaching out to check on us during the weekend.

Natalia was an excellent host! I mentioned I was bringing a baby and she had the pack n play set up and a portable high chair out for us! Home was in a great central location. Home was exactly what my family of 6 needed and we would love to stay again in the future.

We loved our stay. We visited our favorite restaurants, beach and other spots in the area and loved to come back to Amy’s home. We especially enjoyed the fire-pit while looking at the lake or fishing it. This is a special property filled with beautiful trees. I’m glad we had a chance to enjoy it and meet Amy, her daughter and dog Charlie. They were super friendly and welcoming. Amy has created an inviting and colorful space with her curated decor. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I loved this place on Goose River Reservoir. I picked it because it was on the water. It was peaceful and relaxing on the enclosed back deck. It is close to great stores and eateries. About 20minutes to Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. There is plenty for kids to do at the house. The Master bed was comfy and warm. Shower was awesome. What I liked: The house felt warm and cozy. I liked being on the river and listening to the bugs, squirrels and birds. We loved being on the back deck relaxing and drinking our coffee. House rules were not overbearing, but to just clean up after yourself, no dirty dishes left in the sink, take out trash and bring the towels down to the washer. I tried to sweep, but I didn't find a broom. I spilt coffee grinds, but was able to clean it up. Communication with the owners was great and quick response! We really enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Paradise! Matthew was so friendly and accommodating. The the view from home was magnificently breath taking! If you're into fishing, the family upstairs caught plenty! I have found my home away from home!

The place was perfectly priced. The description was very accurate & Jason was quick to respond to any questions that I asked.

We enjoyed our visit to Charleston staying at Rest & Ripples was easy access to downtown and all Harbor activities. We had days full of activities and then back to a relaxing accommodations. We really enjoyed the outside seating we sat out there mostly for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Loved it would book again.

Quiet, private, great layout, very cute. Loved how quiet and private it was yet in walking distance to King Street and the downtown tourist sites. Very clean and well-appointed, bathrooms larger than expected. Would definitely stay here again!

This stay exceeded our expectations! We needed somewhere close-by the hospital downtown, but also wasn’t in the city. This was heaven on earth - horses, bass fishing, our pups enjoyed the fenced yard and the peace that surrounded this place was amazing. Denise and Tanya couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating hosts. We’re definitely planning to come back!

great home with lots of space and privacy. Quiet and lots of nice beaches and bike trails around. very clean and an interesting setting. Lots of fun games to play and the wifi and tv worked really well. It was a bit further than I expected but if you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. My only suggestion would be to provide some beach towels and maybe a few beach chairs. I loved the home and would book again if I am in the area.

The cottage was clean and cozy. I also LOVE the Electrolux washer and dryer. I wash everything the night before and the morning of I put the pajamas in there and do a quick wash (15 minute) and dry (20 minute) so that I go home with clean clothes every time.

This cottage definitely deserves all 5 stars! The cottage itself is beautifully designed with the most amazing outdoor spaces! It’s a quiet peaceful retreat but close to plenty of restaurants and activities if that’s what you want. We most enjoyed sitting on the front porch and just enjoying the tranquility! Pam and Oliver are delightful hosts and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing spot close to the hustle and bustle of Charleston!
