When my family and I saw pictures of Sarah and Matthew’s barn loft, we knew it would be the perfect home away from home. We loved how cozy the space was, the beautiful reclaimed wood throughout and the old cook stove. It had everything we needed during our stay, from the kitchen to the bathroom and even a sound machine in the bedroom. Sarah greeted us when we arrive to show us around, and was available if need. She and her husband Matthew were very friendly and kind. They mentioned that they would be going about their farm duties during the mornings and that we were welcome to visit the animals and explore the property. We even got to watch them milk the cow in the morning, which our young daughter loved. We truly had a wonderful stay and hope to return again for a visit in the future!

The hosts are awesome! Great family. Our family had a blast. The place was perfect for us and we look forward to returning. I recommend bringing a cooler because the place is out there, which was heavenly for us.

The house was beautifully and simply furnished, and the hosts were kind and accommodating. The household tips and local recommendations were super helpful and the location was ideal for the many walks we took. My only hesitation in recommending it any more highly is that it will become too popular and I won't get to come back!

I loved this place. Comfy bed. Amazing bathroom. The wifi worked great and I also got a few bars of TMobile service. If it’s cold weather season, ask them to turn on heat well before you arrive and they also have an extra space heater if needed.

We've had the pleasure of staying at Cow Track Ranch twice now, and each visit has been fantastic. On this trip, we stayed in the bunkhouse—our favorite spot on the ranch. It’s rustic, full of charm, and truly embodies the ranch’s authentic spirit. This is one of the most peaceful and serene places we’ve ever experienced. The ranch operates with deep care and compassion, practicing responsible animal husbandry, and Melissa and her husband are outstanding stewards of the land. If you're interested in learning about ethical and sustainable ranching, simply observe—it’s a lesson in mindful food production. Cow Track Ranch is a hidden gem. The two Great Pyrenees, Chloe and Willow, warmly welcome guests and set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The ranch itself begs to be explored, with rolling hills that invite long, leisurely walks. We’ve already booked our next visit and can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay at this charming cottage in Ferndale, California. The cottage was rustic and full of character, with beautiful antiquities that gave it a cozy, nostalgic vibe. Located about five minute walk from downtown, it was the perfect peaceful retreat while still being close to the heart of the town. Downtown Ferndale is like stepping into a time capsule, beautifully preserved with its American Victorian-era architecture. We spent hours exploring the unique shops, quaint cafés, and indulging in delicious food. A highlight of our trip was catching a show at the local theater. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a blend of history, relaxation, and charm!

We cannot fault our stay at The Loft in any way.. it was the perfect ending of our 5 week holiday in the States. The accomodation had everything we needed to make our week stay comfortable, relaxing and needing for nothing. .. be it listening to vinyl records whilst cooking dinner, sitting outside in the morning sun watching the wildlife go by or relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. We loved “ porch sitting” with Ed and Deborah and getting to know them.. thank you both for the surprise goodies, your company and our wonderful stay. Not many places we want to go back to but The Loft is on our list for next year as we continue to explore the USA. .. 5 star rating

Sally's place was in a quiet, peaceful area very near Healdsburg so the drive into town for dinner was quick. We brought bikes and did a great ride leaving from the ABNB. Very cute space with nice touches. Her ceramics are BEAUTIFUL! Loved the view off the back deck. Lovely stay. Sally was flexible with our check-out time which was super helpful after our bike ride.

Amy's incredibly cozy, and charming rental is a magical place to stay. In a sea of Ikea, standard looking Arcata airbnb's, this cottage , only a 5 minute drive away from town, but nestled near the Arcata Community Forest, is great to know about. It reflects the uniqueness of the redwoods in the area, and I hope to be back as my kid is currently living in Arcata.

If you are looking for a peaceful, serene, and grounding space that is so so well supported, this is your spot. Alexis’ home is a space unlike any other. Her space is welcoming and supportive. During our stay we had (absolutely) everything we needed…everything…from an abundance of towels to every kitchen gadget you could think of. Anytime we thought we may not have something we looked in Alexis’ “Bible” for the home and found it. She was responsive to any question we might have, and in my opinion went out of her way to provide us with a stay we could not have imagined! So prior to staying at her space I could not have dreamed up the stay would have been anything like it was…it was beyond what I could have thought…and if you get to stay here and experience Alexis’ home and her supportive hosting…consider yourself lucky. Very lucky.

If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is your place. We chose it for the beautiful waterfalls near by. Wake up early and take a pleasant walk to the local shops and food. Recommend spending the day at the lake on a patio boat and cooling off in that refreshing water. Then coming back to the Tucci house and grilling some grub for dinner. We'll be coming back for sure. We had a wonderful time during our weekend stay! The view is absolutely gorgeous, the photos in the listing don't truly do it justice! It's also very easy to access the walking path along the shoreline. We also took full advantage of the wood-burning fireplace (there was plenty of wood supplied). My only negatives with this place were that 1) the beds aren't very comfy... the mattresses seem quite old and 2) there were a good deal of ants so you have to be careful about leaving anything edible out. Other than those small things, very highly recommend!

I was at a work conference in the area and had such a wonderful stay at Sues. My 1.5 year old and nanny were able to join and have a cozy home away from home. We loved the setup with two private rooms/bathrooms and large open kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Our stay at the Milk Barn on the Enriquez Estate was just what we expected and hoped for- a rural genuine cottage on a working vineyard. We could stroll around whenever we wanted and walk through the vineyard. The house is very attractive both inside and out and is outfitted with everything that you might need. There is a caretaker,Nick, onsite most of the time and he was attentive to our needs and questions and invisible at other times so we could enjoy our stay on the vineyard Enriquez Estates makes some very nice wines and they are available to purchase right there. The Milk Barn cottage is not a resort type experience- you are self catering all the time. We rode our bikes directly out of the gate and toured through the Russian River Valley. For us- perfect!!
