This was a lovely place for a short retreat. It suited my needs perfectly. I do wish it had been summer time so I could take advantage of the herb garden...oh well.

Maria & Chris set the bar for kindness. They are down-to-earth and great communicators. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Really nice place to stay, comfortable bed, comfortable sofa and a good kitchen. A nice decking area with loungers to enjoy the outdoors, and the property has a great view of the sunrise. Near to Sonoma town and really easy to get around. Eliza was a perfect host, recommending local wineries and really responsive and friendly. Easy self check in as well. We really enjoyed having a nice place to relax in after a day walking in the national parks and sightseeing!

We had an amazing stay at Joan’s place over valentines weekend. It was a chilly weekend and upon arrival, Joan had a space heater going for us. We loved everything about the space and location. There were so many neat little details that were added (somehow created a heart with the toilet paper roll). Joan always had a canoe available for us to take out on the lake. The stay was incredible and i couldn’t recommend it enough, 10/10

Barbara was a wonderful hostess. Due to incoming winter weather at home, we had to adjust our stay at the last minute. Barbara was understanding and accommodating. She greeted us up on arrival and had personal touches for us as first-time grandparents. Would definitely stay again!

We had a restful stay at Polina's. Everything was as described. I suggest arriving during daylight when you check in since the surrounding streets can be confusing.

Leslie's guest cottage is a peaceful, spacious getaway in a pleasant neighborhood right of the 101. Her chicken ranch is adorable and quiet and we found it easy to relax in her private guesthouse.

As I prepared to have a night away from my family; some much needed mom time; I was nervous about staying by myself, but once I got there and opened up the house, I had no more reservations. Not one time did I feel unwelcome or unsafe. The permanent neighbor was kind, quiet, and minded their own business. The views were amazing, they had bird feeders on the deck, which added the perfect entertainment for a quiet evening sipping wine and watching the views. I sunk into the bed and got to sleep in a whole hour! Jon was responsive to my questions, and even laughed at my bad jokes.😉 The cottage was clean, and the windows had screens on them so I was able to open up the house. Overall this was a short but sweet stay, that helped me recoup my sanity and go home with a fresh rested point of view.

My second stay at the Pelicans Roost was just as enjoyable as my first. Scott is an amazing host who is super friendly and very responsive. The unit is clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay including a comfortable bed and a quiet location. I look forward to my next stay at the Pelicans Roost!

The garden suite was very comfortable and the surroundings beautiful. The amenities were just as described. Mary Lee and David are gracious hosts and very responsive to any request.

I absolutely loved staying here. Everything was so nice even though the weather wasn’t. Pictures are exact. I really love the promptness with answering any of my questions through messaging the homeowner. It was a perfect weekend.

Valerie was a gracious host. I really didn’t know at first that it was a ADU in her backyard with very close proximity to her own house. But that said, she made it a beautiful space that we really enjoyed. And was respectfully distant to let us come and go without hovering. Beautiful fine touches to the cottage with luxury amenities. It was a perfect place for our weekend away. And soo doggy friendly. Loved it! And was super surprised at the pastry delivery in the morning. What a special treat… 🥐 💕

Our stay at Tina’s place was absolutely worth it! The guests’ accommodations are fantastic, clean, comfortable, and in the best location, and our hosts were absolutely wonderful! They were/are very friendly, communicative, and we felt very welcomed to their place! We ate at a local brewery nearby, and later enjoyed the beautiful hot tub! (I found the hot tub I’ve been looking for, so plan to contact that company!) Also, they have a sweet cat who likes to greet the guests, and one in our party met their lovely dog. I’ll look forward to that on a return visit! Really, everything was just lovely! It was an ideal place! We look forward to coming back! Thank you to our hosts, Tina and Malachi.

Wonderful hosts and the cottage was perfect. Full kitchen with every drawer clearly labeled so easy to find what you need. This location is only a few minutes from town yet very private and the setting is very relaxing. I will definitely stay again when I visit Crescent City. The hosts are very communicative and offered great recommendations for local sites and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the smart TV was easy to navigate with great Wi-Fi. Thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to stay at your beautiful Bigfoot Bungalow.

Mary was a wonderful host and my stay was lovely...for the 2nd time! I absolutely love the walkability into town that the home provides, and it is a very peaceful location. I will definitely be staying here again!!

Wonderful getaway in a converted barn in the back of a small cheese factory. Super clean, airy, well-lit place within an easy block walk of three great restaurants.

My family and I loved our stay at Karen’s cabin. Beautiful sights of Mount Shasta and Black Butte, peaceful, quiet and just a few minutes drive to everything in Shasta. The cabin is very well equipped with everything you would need. We came in the winter, there was snow outside but inside the cabin it was warm and cozy. Perfect!

Jakob's cottage was comfortable, clean and well appointed. Great location with easy access to both Calistoga and Clearlake. We didn't get to meet Jakob, but he was friendly and very clear in his communications. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage to anyone looking for a place to call home while in the area!

The cottage was very comfortable. The convenience and location for the property was outstanding. I would highly recommend it.
