Loved our quiet get away as a couple. The views were beautiful and we loved the cows near by! Pictures don’t even do the amazing landscape views justice. We definitely planned our schedule around being in the hot tub at sunset for the view, but don’t snooze on the sunrises either, they were worth getting up for too. It was cloudy both nights we were there so we didn’t get to see many stars which just means we are already planning our next trip back!!

Great place to stay, great daily rates, the hostess was wonderful and flexible. Enjoyed the peacefulness and beautiful lake. Hot tub when it's cold outside was fabulous!! The cabin is beautiful and well taken care of and spacious. Will be coming back when I can!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin is one room with a detached bathroom with laundry room. We enjoyed the privacy and beauty of its surroundings. Medora is over an hour away, but the cabin is close to the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and hiking trails.

This was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is cozy and rustic, with a modern bathroom and hot tub for two. The surroundings are gorgeous and peaceful. We left feeling refreshed.

A beautiful private and peaceful getaway! We were feeling like we needed to get out of the house for a weekend and this was the perfect place to do it! Such a cozy spot and had everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was a must, very clean and definitely hot enough! Everything in and about this cabin was very well thought out. Plenty of towels for showering and hot tub! We cannot wait to come back and try out the other cabins!

Absolutely amazing place to stay walking distance of the restaurant and grocery store . Felt like hunting camp at home ! Gary goes above and beyond to help you while you’re there and make you feel welcome !! Highly recommend his place!!

Very nice, cozy, comfortable cabin in a great location. We enjoyed fishing, bird hunting, and exploring the nearby state parks. The back deck is a great place to enjoy the evenings. I always appreciate a dog friendly house.

We enjoyed staying at Susan's! we played some of the games, the boys enjoyed the X-Box upstairs! the view of the Lake was beautiful, and we used the kayak, paddle boards, and Lilly Pad several times!!! We also appreciated her recommendation for the Pontoon rental.

Centrally located, extremely close the lake, spacious driveway, exterior plug-ins for charging boat batteries in the summer, pretty private space at the end of a short dead end street, and comfortable setting inside. Very much enjoyed my stay here.

The Nest is nice than the pictures. Very clean and beautiful. Perfect for family with wide range of ages. I am very impressed a great space to get away!

Great location next to the water just far enough from town yet close to the casino.

What can I say??? Toms place is awesome! Centrally located for all my fishing needs. Tom is great ! Super knowledgeable for all great fishing spots. The cabin was perfect for me and my 2 dogs. I will be coming back for sure!

Another great stay at Kyle's place. This was our 4th stay of 2025. Love everything about this one. Nothing like it in or around Medora.

Awesome place to stay

This cabin is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. We had deer in the yard each day. I recommend taking a drive down the river road, you will not regret it.

Roger is a great host. Very responsive and respectful! Wonderful location to just sit and take all of what Western North Dakota has to offer. We will be back!

Great stay at Chontay’s cabin! The cabin is so charming and a beautiful spot on the lake. Chontay was so easy to chat with and answered all my questions. We had an incredibly relaxing time, working remote and spending time with each other!

The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and big. It perfectly accommodated our high school basketball team. They were very flexible and easy to work with. They were proactive in letting us know things even before we asked. There were clear instructions about the place and what to do before we left. I know the basketball girls had a great time and a great experience. I would highly recommend staying there and I would again.

Overall great place to stay in Devils lake, ND

This is by far the best accomodation if you want to stay in Medora. I have tried hotels and other Airbnbs but nothing compares to The Longhorn. The cabin is beautiful and clean, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare you meals, the beds are super comfy and the decorations are super chic. The cabin is secluded so it is perfect for relaxing. The bonus of this place is the view, the deck faces a beautiful view of the Badlands, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or your evening drinks while seeing wildlife and birdwatching. The host was very responsive and friendly. We appreciated the welcome basket with goodies, including fruit snacks for the children. This cabin will be my option #1 every time I plan a trip to Medora.
