Cannot imagine a more beautiful and peaceful setting for this magnificent house and extensive grounds. Everything was perfect, the hosts charming, friendly, approachable, helpful. The apartment spacious, extremely well equipped and comfortable. The views of the coast and Exmoor are stunning, no photo can reproduce them faithfully, and you are 100 metres away from an array of paths. Thanks for the privilege of staying at your place.

We loved our stay, super cosy, relaxing, we had everything we needed, great parking space right outside the door, shop nearby, lovely walk to the beach which was lovely. Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed a short break in this quirky property. It was clean, cosy and well-equipped, and a great base to explore the surrounding area. We walked in to Bristol (it took about an hour) but there is a regular bus service too. Nick was really welcoming and helpful. We'd be very happy to stay here again.

Ideally located for family visits - the annexe was perfect for our needs. Comfortable and well equipped - we will be back!

Amazing spot will definitely be returning, the views are amazing and plenty things in place to make your stay comfortable. The place was completely spotless. Plenty coastal walks around.

Lovely short stay at Leytons apartment. Wonderful location right on the coast at Rest Bay. The beach, beach cafe and coast walks right on the doorstep. Apartment was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and homely. Apartment also super clean. Leyton was very responsive with communication. Really enjoyed our stay and we will be back again for sure hopefully when the weather is better!! Thank you :)

Vanessa is a top notch Host! We felt so welcome when we arrived (late) and she is just a lovely person. The sunset view is Stunning! The Conservatory is lovely! The bed....is perhaps the most comfortable bed in Glastonbury....it was difficult to get out of it in the morning. Very easy access to High St. and the wonderful events going on in town. Exceptional location and Host. Highly recommended! Thank you :)

Absolutely perfect! There was everything you needed, all the essentials were there, for a stress free stay. Nicola was very friendly, kept good communications and gave lots of instructions on how to find the property. The house was beautifully decorated, clean and tidy . The downstairs bedroom with bathroom was especially good for my elderly mum. We appreciated the scones milk and bread that was ready for us. Honestly, it was perfect, lovely to be able to walk to the town, beach and coastal walk. Nicola was so lovely. Thank you, would recommend to anybody.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The property is in an idyllic location. The peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing few days. Agnes always responded to any requests and I would love to return sometime in the future.

When we arrived we found the place to be exactly like the photos but once your inside the property really is beautiful, very homely and cosy. The location is beautiful, a pub right round the corner , a lovely pebbly beach for walks and if you’re brave enough to swim. Lovely coastal walks and nice pubs and restaurants about 15 mins walk. Very responsive host and always happy to answer any questions we had. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

Stayed for a weekend here for my birthday and was absolutely stunning. Toni was thoughtful and kind and left a happy birthday banner and kindly gifted me a card and chocolate - thank you again. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and felt like being at home. Toni was able to help and answer with anything that we needed help with Will definetly be coming back in the future. Thank you so much Toni :)

Darren’s Place was immaculate, in a great location, and very well decorated. The house has great character, and some beautiful features, it’s got fun quirks and is super cool too. We used it as a location for my bridal party to get together and try on wedding and bridesmaids dresses. We then all cooked together in the huge kitchen and cozied up in the very comfortable living room and watched movies. The beds are super comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep. It was easy to find with plenty of parking and a quiet location that felt like you were out in the middle of the countryside. We are now discussing returning to Darren‘s house for a wedding crafting session in a few months time. Thank you for hosting us and we hope to be back again later in the year.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hare Lodge. It is the most beautiful surroundings with literally silent countryside. We enjoyed seeing the stars at night whilst sitting in the hot tub. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and I slept so well. Lisa and Tim left some very tasty treats for us upon arrival and also came over to talk us through our stay and answer any questions we had. The only thing I would mention is that the hot tub wasn’t quite hot enough. This may have been for a variety of reasons including the time of year, the eco qualities of the hot tub or just the hot tub settings itself but it meant that we couldn’t be in it for as long as we wanted as we could get a bit cold. Overall the stay was absolutely incredible and more than I could possibly have wanted!

The location is about as central as you can get, with good parking and easy walking to most parts of Sidmouth. The house is well furnished and the bathrooms are very new and very clean. The kitchen is extremely well fitted out and is a great place for family gatherings! The outside kitchen BBQ would be great in Summer; we were there in February and still used the BBQ because it is a great covered area...and the BBQ kit is fantastic....bet BBQ i've ever cooked on. It also great being part of the hotel because there is always someone on hand to help out (we simply needed some more bin bags) Great place to stay for a large group and would stay again.

We were very impressed with the property as it was exactly what we wanted for five days away with all our family. The kitchen, storage and lounge layout were ideal for our needs. The bedrooms were compact and the shower facilities first class. I would recommend the property to anyone who wants a quiet place to stay near many of Cornwall's attractions

We had a lovely stay at Tracy’s..There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits etc. in the kitchen. There were plenty of games to keep our little one occupied ! We enjoyed our time in the park opposite the apartment complex..

Anchors Away is a beautiful, very cosy and very quiet apartment. Communication with Julie ahead of the booking was easy, and responses very quick. I had the pleasure of meeting both Julie and Chris during my stay - both very friendly and helpful. Julie was kind enough to show me around the apartment on arrival. The apartment is fantastic, extremely quiet, and at the same time only a short walk to the sea, beach, shops and food outlets. The apartment was incredibly clean, and well stocked. The walk in wardrobe in the bedroom is a touch of class, and plenty of hangers provided! I worked during the week, and the WiFi was more than good enough to handle video calls. I had dinner at the Drum Inn, a good 20 minute walk if your up for it. The food is delicious and the staff incredibly friendly - Josh is a superstar. I used Torbay Taxis (number in the folder) a lot during the week - some smashing folk work for them - very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Cristian. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay. Steve was a really helpful host. We enjoyed having breakfast overlooking the fields, and in general the location was ideal for our trip.

Five stars all the way. Described as a flatlet, but we have stayed in a lot smaller places with Airbnb! Peter has renovated the house to a high standard, this part of his huge dwelling is given over to rental units. It works really well. There is a separate entrance at the side of the property with keycode access for self check in. The apartment was spotless on arrival. The sleeping quarters and bathroom are excellent. You will be amazed at the tiny kitchen unit. It is really functional and well thought out. Hob, microwave and fridge, plus lots of pans and equipment. Decent coffee machine too. Walkable to the Quay and to town. Supermarket is 200m away. Brilliant.

Easy to find, great location right in the heart of the Barbican within easy walking distance of pubs, bars, restaurants and local attractions including the harbour as well as shops. The property itself self is very well appointed ted and spotless. Added bonus of free parking and an electric car charger if needed.

Fantastic review!! Such a chilled relaxing weekend for the start of my birthday celebrations with friends. She was so helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would 100% return!

I loved everything about the apartment, especially the wood burner,I want one. Beautiful shower and bathroom.heating was a real bonus.i hate being cold.the overall main thing for me was the privacy and being left alone to enjoy the place like home and no one popping in,even though the host lives next door.wonderful place to escape to.go.
