The cabin made for a cozy space to curl up and relax between adventures in an area brimming with things to do. If you're not a pet-person it may not occur to you that the cabin's "pet-friendly" descriptor indicates that people have definitely brought their pets to this cabin and some smells inevitably linger. This is just something to be cognizant of if any of your group is especially sensitive or allergic. That being said, the place was kept very clean. Everything about the cabin aligned with our expectations. We had a wonderful experience.

This cozy little cabin was the perfect spot to stay for the first couple of nights after our wedding! With a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of necessities in case you forgot something, this private spot-complete with a hot tub-was just what we needed to relax. Joshua was very responsive and overall, we would highly recommend it for a quiet little getaway. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome place!

Sue’s place had great views and that cozy cabin feel. She was a great host and was very willing to accommodate us. The Airbnb was exactly as it was described. The surrounding town was also beautiful and had excellent places to eat. Well worth the stay.

This cottage was the perfect respite for my family. The big panoramic window that looked out over the water was perfect. The house was so comfortable and the hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend a stay here. There isn’t a lot to do in the immediate area, but the university of Delaware was 20 minutes away and Baltimore an hour south. It was a perfect house for a long weekend getaway.

Our stay at the cabin was a relaxing getaway. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and a fancy coffee machine. The fireplace in the center of the cabin had a supply of wood so you can make a nice fire. The hot tub was wonderful! Already hot and ready to use. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom. Overall the cabin made a cozy atmosphere where you could just kick back and relax!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cabin. Doug had great recommendations for local restaurants, the waterfront property was gorgeous, and we felt very comfortable. The inside of the cabin is completely private, with excellent window coverings. The yard - by nature of how close the neighbors are - is not particularly private, but being on the water is definitely worth that. Definitely wish I had had a kayak! The kitchen is small - while this was fine for us, if someone loves cooking for a lot of people, they'll feel limited. But everything was clean and worked correctly. The bathroom was well-stocked - Doug has thought through everything. If we find ourselves back in the area, this is absolutely a place we'd stay again. Look no further - this is definitely the spot.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, cozy, and warm -- an important factor during the winter! The sectional couch with recliner seats was especially comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen extremely well stocked with pots, pans, and dishes. This is a really nice place that feels a cut above many similar options in the area. Would definitely come back.

This was by far my favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. It was perfect for me and my dog. So peaceful and private and close to nature yet not far away from civilization at all. I wish I could rebook for the next time I have to be in town but it’s already booked

Great stay over the holidays. The cabin is as described. A bit rustic but quaint, comfortable, and well appointed. We will likely be back when visiting family in the area.

Matt's place was great for our small group of 5. We enjoyed how peaceful it was and the surrounding nature was great. It snowed while we were there and he made sure to have the driveway plowed for us. We had plenty of wood for the fireplace and it was soooooo nice and relaxing. Spending time with friends in a beautiful setting. Beds were quite comfy too. Would definitely stay again!!

This is an amazing little cabin for my getaway from the hustle of the city. It is close to lots of hiking trails. The Susquehanna overlook at Kelly’s Run Nature Preserve is really pretty. I also love Kilgore Falls & King and Queens seat. The home is very clean it feels brand new. The sauna was great. The neighbors in the area waved when I drove down the road and I got to see their chickens running around the forest on their property. The home has a tiny set of trails and the sound of the creek is so peaceful. I used the grill to make steak and veggies it was a breeze. This place feels so luxurious with a tv in bedroom and living room, the cute fire place in the bedroom and the gorgeous shower. The kitchen has all the basics and spices from Lancaster Pa. They have a French press and keurig. I love the covered porch this would be a great stay even on rainy days. Coffee outside was perfect, I could stay here for a month easily. Will be back!

Beautiful setting. Host was very responsive and helpful. Respected privacy. Clean and quaint cabin. Plenty of activities to keep singles, couples, or families busy. Hiking, fishing and recreational areas around. Highly recommend.

With a family wedding in the area, Kerry's cottage was the perfect place for our stay. The area is so beautiful & this home provides an opportunity to enjoy it. Kerry quickly responded & was a huge help when one of our kids left their suit pants behind.

This spot is awesome. We loved cooking outside and walking around the trails. Host was responsive and kind. Would recommend!

Bob was a wonderful host and reached out to make sure everything about our stay was perfect and it was! The place is adorable! It’s so beautiful and comfortable. Love the decor. But I cannot say enough about the view. When we weren’t boating, we spent most of our time outside just enjoying the amazing water views. Saw many eagles, some close up passing by. Saw a bunch of deer. The birds visiting the feeder. We had a nice bonfire by the water! Everything we needed was always right there!! This property is a must see and I highly recommend it!! We thank you for hosting us and hope to return!!

We stayed at the Cabin on the Creek for a couple of days after Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were looking for a quiet, quaint place where we could relax and unwind and the cabin was perfect for this. It was well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We walked down to the creek - the cold temps had half the creek iced which was beautiful and picture perfect. I can imagine in summer this must be idyllic for swimming and going out on the kayaks.

Rented the cabin as a base camp for my wedding and couldn’t be more thrilled about my stay. Cabin was as described, clean and peaceful. Owner’s very responsive and friendly.

This was an amazing find. Timothy's place was exactly as described. There was nothing missing. It is neat, uncluttered, clean, and very comfortable. The location is just incredible. Looking out the window you're looking into the crowns (tops) of tall trees. And down below is the creek that you can hear from the house. I saw an eagle flying low along the creek. I was looking down at him--an interesting perspective...! Peaceful and quiet, I am looking forward to a return stay!
