Perfect spot for a family getaway. We could see the lake from the back porch and the pups loved the fenced in yard. Everything looked like the pictures and was clean and comfortable. Recommend downloading the booking guide ahead of arrival. We had to reach out for help with the door code and WiFi password due to weak cellular signal, but the response was lightning fast and we got in no problem.

We absolutely fell in love with the cabin and soaker tubs. We took the kayaks out one day. We waded and fished one day. Landed two giant catfish that night off the bank. Ended up with 7 nice sized trout. We saw a falling star the first night. All the cooking ware was there for us to make some awesome meals riverside! Mr. Dennis came out right away to work on the heater for the tubs bc we couldn’t get them going. He was very accommodating even offered to take us up river and put us in for kayaking. The soaker tubs were a DREAM! All in all the cabin and location were exactly as pictured and we would def love to be back.

The cabin was clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed, except a second dining chair. If you are going to spend any time in the cabin you'd better love the one you're with, as it is even smaller than it looks in the pictures. The lower bunk can't really accommodate more than one person comfortably. The location is wonderful.

Glamping at its finest! My family stayed the weekend (I have 2 kids) and we had an absolute amazing time. It was very peaceful and adventurous with the water, rocks and caves! This place has a natural beauty to it and will forever be a great memory for my family.

This is my new favorite spot! the cabin is so beautiful with all the amenities you could use to be comfortable, it was better than being home.. The bubble bath with the view was amazing they even have a heater installed above so you stay warm in and out of the water!! The land it sits on is breath taking we saw a pair of bald eagles flying every day right at the edge of the cliff and it's a spectacular view. deer come right up to the cabin as well so if you enjoy the outdoors and peace this is the place for you. it's very private and there are two towns within 20 minutes and no expensive tourist prices just cute tiny towns. The bigger Rolla is less than an hour for more city like entertainment but I prefer the short drive down to the river where you can swim in the springs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The host was so kind and quick responses for any questions we had. This is the ozark experience and I'm so thankful for my time here. can't wait to come back!!

Quiet, secluded and peaceful. The pond is so pretty! The cabin was amazing, sparkling clean, very well stocked, and super easy to find. The bed was so cute and quite comfy, complete with extra pillows! The water pressure in the shower will knock your socks off!! There are even 2 bbqs, both gas and charcoal. I can't say enough about the peacefulness. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the expansive deck, listening to the crickets, birds, frogs and squirrels was beyond relaxing! The beautiful fall colors were in abundance in late October with so many different types of trees on the property. James was an amazing host. He responded within seconds if I had a question. He was super accommodating too! There is plenty to do within a few miles of the cabin. Montauk State Park is just a short drive with amazing fishing and hiking, and the towns of Salem and Licking are very close (Salem even has a Walmart). The options for restaurants for any meal are abundant in both towns.

It was a lovely experience at a cozy little cabin. Very secluded, but not too far from town. I will say the price was a bit steep for us as just a couple with a small child, but it was absolutely the best and one of the only accommodations available in the area. Very good deal if you’re traveling with a few more people or you have older children since there are three beds. We will definitely consider staying again if we are back in the area!

Excellent place to connect with nature. Steph is a super kind, chill, yet attentive host. I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of arkansas. I highly recommend this hidden gem of a rental.

Cabin was very nice, well stocked and in a great, end of road location which allowed for a peaceful and isolated setting. Close enough to town to quickly get to the restaurants we like in Mammoth Spring and Thayer. Will definitely stay at Wes's cabin again when we go back to this area.

Very friendly hosts!! Got in touch a couple days to a week in advance.. Let me know about boat accommodations, and local spots to dine or if needing anything!! Great private house, on water.. 2 min walk to water, but you can see it, from every view!! Beautiful views, clean, comfortable, every accommodation plus, ones we weren't expecting! My husband and I loved our stay at the Hillcrest hideaway. We spent the majority of our time on the deck watching birds and reading. It was secluded enough to feel very private but still close enough to town if we needed anything. The house itself was VERY clean and organized. We also loved the book of local recommendations so we could easily find places to eat/visit. Highly recommend if you need a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed here many times and will be back. Michael is so kind and caring. He makes you feel welcome. He also does a wonderful job maintaining the place as well.

This is an excellent place to come stay. The kitchen has all the tools, and I love those pretty plates with the flowers on them. The living space is great, very comfy. Lots of places to sit, lots of blankets. Everything felt thoughtfully put together. The wood work on the walls and the ceilings is really cool. A work of art 😀. The bathroom is really nice, clean, modern. And the bed is very comfortable. I woke up very rested and excited to start the day.

Great place! Spacious bedrooms, open living space, right by marina/lake, and close to grocery store and dollar general for last minute needs!

This place was exactly as described in the listing but Melissa went above and beyond with the little touches! She left homemade cinnamon rolls for us at check-in (they were delicious), she left baby toys cleaned and our for our little one, AND she offers to make homemade meals because food is few and far between in the off season. The place was extremely easy to baby proof and we enjoyed the backyard & back deck. We will definitely be back again!
