Kenneth was a great host - very friendly and pro active with communication. We chose to stay in Zaandam to escape the noise of Amsterdam and Kenneth's place was great for this. Nice quiet neighbourhood and the other guests and Kevin were quiet to so we slept well. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, nice shower and had tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge and microwave so could do a bit of self catering. It's also easy access to the train station which we used to visit Zaanse Schanse, Amsterdam and going to/from airport. The video Kenneth provided to go from train station to his place was awesome 👍 There are plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes in Zaandam and we felt very safe. We would definitely recommend staying at Kenneth's place - thanks again for your hospitality.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse. The room was huge yet cozy. And the view is truly magical. Loved waking up to the sun and watching the boats pass. The breakfast is really cute, got everything u need. There is also a small kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, that you can use throughout the day. The location is amazing because it is quiet, beautiful and walking distance from the center. Lots of cute cafes and restaurants nearby. Will definitely stay here again next time😊

🌟 Een magische ervaring bij Jongwijs Boetiekhotel 🌟 We verbleven bij Jongwijs Boetiekhotel en het was niets minder dan idyllisch. We kwamen hier oorspronkelijk vanwege een concert in Zaandam en wilden een fijne plek in de buurt – maar wat we hier aantroffen, overtrof al onze verwachtingen. De accommodatie is ruim, sfeervol en charmant, met een unieke energie die je meteen omarmt. Het pand ademt karakter, mede dankzij de prachtige chocolatier en het sfeervolle restaurant op locatie. Hier voel je de passie en visie van de mensen die eraan werken – een plek waar jong en oud samen iets bijzonders neerzetten. We hadden zelfs plannen om op zaterdag naar Amsterdam te gaan, maar besloten gewoon hier te blijven en van de rust en schoonheid van deze plek te genieten. Dit is veel meer dan een verblijf – het is een ervaring, een gevoel dat je bijblijft. Dit is zo’n plek waar je over twintig jaar nog aan terugdenkt en zegt: “Weet je nog dat weekend?”

Fantastic place. They will let you keep your bag before the check in time and after your check out. The front desk staff( the tall dude) was so nice and gave us a lot of recommendations.

More than we expected with stylish communal areas and good food/coffee. Absolutely recommendable!

Do not hesitate to book a room in this lovely boutique hotel. Mieke is a fabulous host, the room has everything you need, and you’re just 20 minutes’ walk (and a quick ferry) away from the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam city central. 5 stars all round

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen ook al was het voor de incheck 😉 We mochten de spulletjes al op de kamer zetten en kregen een parkeerkaart voor de auto. Een schitterende kamer met alles erop en eraan. De koffie die er stond was heerlijk! Alles op loop afstand. Zeker een aanrader. En we komen graag terug.
