This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

Loved our stay ! Grant (and Ollie) were super friendly and looked after us excellenly. We all ejoyed the pool and spa pool - especially the pool toys and sun lounges. The views were stunning and was the perfect county escape for our small family. Highly recommend staying here !

Grace was so accommodating with our request for a long term stay while we waited to move into our new home. Communication was excellent and the place had all the amenities of home. The location was a bit further out than we realized but it was was beautiful and peaceful. Would highly recommend to others

We had a wonderful stay at Shanti's place. The tent is super cozy and has everything you need to get a feeling of luxery while being outside in nature. The river that flows through her garden makes you calm down and the sun deck is perfect to just relax on. We slept like roses in the big comfortable bed and she even had bathrobes hanging which were nice and cozy after using the outdoor shower. Lots of things to do and see around the area to or to just have a coffee or drink. Definitely recommend this place! :)

Really lovely quiet location close to Hamilton. We arrived late and had to leave early so we didn’t manage to meet our hosts. Instructions were easy to follow.

Had a lovely stay with Carol and Geoff. They are very welcoming hosts and the bed is comfortable and the bedroom wonderfully quiet and dark. Such a treat to have fresh fruit from their garden too. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant and the quality of the lodging was excellent. We loved the location and the tranquil setting. We were immediately met with their wonderful pet dog, which we truly loved (which is amazing since we tend to be cat oriented). We plan to visit this lodging in future vacations.

We stayed at Karens place for two nights. Nice location in a quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful backyard and gardens. Karen was a wonderful host and made us feel right at home. The place was very clean and tidy, had everything we needed and had nice comfortable beds too. I would definitely recommend Karens place to all.

Such a lovely stay. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We enjoyed Michael's archery session and Mia's amazing breakfast. The freshly baked bread was fabulous. And the lovely dog Hunter showed me around their beautiful garden!! We had a great time and it is actually the most pleasant accommodation we have ever stayed at in NZ.

We did not meet the hosts who were unexpectedly away and were redirected to Bird Cottage at no extra cost. Communication was great, the cottage ( a renovated old schoolhouse) was spacious,very peaceful, and had all the amenities we needed. Clean and comfortable and light breakfast provided. Beautiful outlook and a great spot to break a long journey

We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay and Ginie and Bob’s place. It really was originally a boat house, converted into a studio stand-alone apartment. A lot of thought went into making this small place suitable for guests. We adored all the breakfasts items Ginie provided for our three night stay. The banana bread and frittatas were standouts, but also lots of cereal, fruit, fresh dairy products and more. Outside, we enjoyed sitting by the lake after long days of exploring the area. So peaceful! Even duck food was provided for having fun with the ducks on the lake. There is a new spa that they welcome guests to enjoy. Our busy schedule didn’t permit us to take advantage of it, but I would prefer it to sitting in a sulfur-smelling spa in town. Ginie and Bob are genuinely kind and personable, if you have the opportunity to say hi.

Barbara and Ewen were lovely hosts. Any question I sent to them was answered promptly. They were friendly helpful and engaging, but never intrusive. They were flexible with breakfast timing to accommodate my schedule and I could come and go as I pleased. I would highly recommend them and their lovely home to anyone.

Quiet and peaceful. A relaxing place to rest after our busy days harvesting at a local vineyard. Neta is a wonderful host. Highly recommend. The home cooked breakfast each day was awesome. We felt like we were at home. Thank you for your awesome hospitality and sharing your beautiful home. We look forward to staying again.

Unfortunately, by my own error, I could not stay here. Colin was very helpful in trying to make it work and offered lots of resources. I’m sure it would’ve been a wonderful time. Hopefully when I’m there again, I can actually stay :-)

Such a peaceful place to stay. The surrounding countryside is beautiful - best viewed from the spa! We were very comfortable and definitely recommend to others.

Linda is a very sincere host, and the location of the property was in a fabulous spot - really scenic. A very comfortable bed too for a weary traveller!! Linda's accommodation is a lovely, peaceful haven.

Kyra's place gave an instant feeling of home and a place to relax as soon as we opened the front gate. Beautiful gardens, light filled home full of greenery, open windows with a view towards the city and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and a selection of records to play. We would move here if we could! Kyra was friendly and super responsive, we booked at very short notice for 3 days and everything was ready and in place for us to enjoy our stay. Thank you Kyra and Adam :)

This modern cottage is the perfect place to spend a few days in Havelock North, and is less than a five minute walk to the village. A spacious living/sleeping area, with an equally spacious bathroom and wonderful walk in shower. It is in a very peaceful location, with the cottage set at the back of a beautiful garden and well off the road. Trish & Don are lovely hosts, great with communication, and add plenty of home touches including providing continental breakfast, offer of e-bikes, and fresh figs from the fruit trees. Beautiful location and property. Loved that pool! Loved how peaceful it was and felt like we were out of town and we were literally just up the road from our home. Jane was super helpful too. We’re thinking we’ll book here every year for our anniversary ♥️

A lovely accommodation with attention to detail & little extras.

Our stay at the Jacqueline’s “Salt Shed” was absolutely delightful. It’s an unusual setup with the caravan, the outdoor living space and the kitchen and bathroom in separate areas and it’s totally charming! We had lots of room and every day we discovered a new feature or cute decoration. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Everything is spotless. The gardens are full of flowers and the views are amazing. Jacqueline is a gem, she made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t say enough. Highly recommend.
