This is a home that we will cherish the memories of. We are so grateful to have stayed in this magical spot, in a home filled with much love and history. We were all so comfortable and the view of the river from the property was so peaceful. You can walk along the banks and even jump in. It’s beautiful and pristine clean. Wow! Mark’s AirBnB is an experience rather than a stay. Is a combination of coastal rural Nz right on the doorstep (short boat ride away) from a bustling town Raglan where there are 5 star restaurants, super markets and everything you would need or expect. And the accomodation itself is nestled on a cliff top with 180 views of the harbour and if Raglan. Private, the feeling of seclusion and neighbour free - the best of both worlds made better by a host that balances your needs with respectful distance. Make a pizza in the wood fired oven and then warm your bones in the spa boat and arching the harbour u til the sun melts away listening to birds evening song. We can’t wait to head back and hopefully catch the big uncle of the 12 lb snapper we caught in the raglan harbour!!! Outstanding place.

Great place to have a family get together. Very clean and comfortable and really nice furnishings and touches such as the toiletries and books for grandchildren. Kitchen was very well equipped to make meals for the 8 of us, and loved the outdoor dining. The hot tub was a hit as was the fire pit, and it was an easy walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your fabulous holiday home.

My fiancé and I LOVED staying here!!! It was the most relaxing and gorgeous place. The views alone were stunning, and being able to use the sauna, walk through the abundant plants, and enjoy the river was so nice. George and Scott were incredibly responsive and helpful, and the house already has truly everything you could need. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back to New Zealand!

Such a stunning home! My dog and I stayed 2 nights, we were greeted with plenty of yummy treats for both of us! The home itself is absolutely amazing, cozy and tidy, with all the amenities you need and more. The location is great with plenty of parks if you’re also bringing a furry friend, on a quiet street and close to the motorway if you’re exploring Auckland. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend to others.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

We loved this place. Great living area for socialising, well equipped kitchen, showers had awesome water pressure, several lovely areas to sit outdoors. Perfect for our family get together with some of us staying onsite and others in the town centre. And later some items we'd left behind were returned to us which we were grateful for.

This stay was absolutely lush—beautiful greenery all around, making it feel like a little paradise. The place was super well-stocked with all the household essentials you could need, way beyond the basics. Everything was comfortable and well thought out, and the communication with the host was spot on. Such a peaceful and relaxing spot—would 100% stay again!

Fabulous host - clean apartment and very well stocked

We had a wonderful stay at Shelley’s place the house was exactly as described but even better inside than we expected. We loved having fresh eggs and bread on arrival along with fruit and lots of other goodies. Shelley was so helpful and kind our entire stay and always in touch immediately when we need to ask something. The location is only a 20 min walk into town along the beach or over the the hill depending on the tides. It’s a great place to stay to explore the Bay of Islands!

Highly recommend for all! We are a family of 5 and enjoyed our stay here. It is nice and close to everything and walking distance to Hahei resort. The accommodation had everything we needed for our stay. Fleur was friendly and had prompt communication. We would stay here again :)

Although we didn’t meet our hosts our stay really lovely. Easy access, very clean and charming surroundings. Loved the extra treats upon our arrival and your breakfast basket. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again if available. Loved visiting our ‘old haunts’ of West Auckland from 25 years ago. Thank you so much.

We had a terrific stay at Shelley's apartment. We appreciated being a little out of town in a quiet area with great views. Th location is still within easy reach by car from anything that you would want to do around Rotorua but with more privacy and calm than a city accomodation. The apartment is great - all the furnishings and facilities are high quality. The two bedrooms are not large but roomy enough for two and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is a well appointed kitchen area - we had most of our meals in the apartment. Just like eating at home. Shelly is a great host - very friendly and responsive with communications. A very helpful person.

An absolutely wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The outside bathtub was an absolute highlight. Greta location to drive up to Abel Tasman for a day as well.

Mathew's place is truly special — from the fun 4x4 ride through a deer park to the cabin, to the stunning views, total privacy and the covered barbecue area. Just know that it’s quite off the grid, which adds to the charm but also means it’s a bit rustic — the space wasn’t spotless (some dead insects in the outdoor shower, beddings didn’t feel fresh), but it felt understandable given the remote location. The ride with Mathew was super fun (we stood on the back and held the rails!) but it was raining, so we arrived completely wet — not a problem as we had jackets but might not suit everyone. When we arrived it was foggy, so we didn’t see the view until the second evening — but when it cleared, it was absolutely worth it. We recommend coming once and staying put — we walked 45 minutes back to our car as we had some program in between, but it's a nice walk. All in all, we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for something different who doesn't mind a bit of adventure.

We wanted a pretty, peaceful and relaxing place to stay and this was perfect. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed, deliciously relaxing hot tub….. everything you could need was catered for. Waking up to magpies warbling , cattle mooing , and the stream babbling in the background was delightful. The off grid electrics and fire heated hot tub were all easy to operate. Thank you Vivian, Barry and family for a wonderful stay at your beautiful piece of paradise ! We would love to visit again and have recommended you to our friends and family .

The view is even better than the photos - could sit there all day and watch the clouds go by. Bath is great, kitchen is great. The place had all the little extras that make is place super comfortable and make you feel thought of: Fluffy robes - fruit, eggs, milk and cereal for the morning if you don't want to go anywhere (also some chocolate left out for our arrival). We used the pizza oven too which was well setup with all the gear you need including wood and kindling ready to go. Lots of thoughtful lights in key places too so you don't trip over anything. Would stay again!

This is a beautiful place to stay, there's a spectacular view, the house is cosy and homely, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. We received lots of helpful information and local recommendations, and Jit (one of the hosts) was able to assist with a shuttle service to the Tongariro Alpine Crossing at a convenient time for us. The hosts are absolute gems, and the house is a home. Would absolutely come back here anytime!

We could not recommend this place enough. We absolutely loved our stay here!! We came here for three nights for our honeymoon and did not want to leave. The sunsets by the fire were so beautiful with the rolling hills and a few cows! Matt was more than generous, gave us plenty of firewood and was lovely to speak with. The outdoor shower and bath were spectacular!!
