Great stay and honestly wished we would have planned more days here during our trip! 10/10 would recommend.

Great property! The birds at night was a bit loud but close the windows and sliding doors and turn on AC illuminated the noise.

If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Everything was great! Beautiful location, easy to get to, easy to get places, great suggestions! We couldn’t have asked for a better host. We can’t wait to go back

We loved our stay with Roy and Joy! The location can’t be beat - the views are amazing and the property beautiful and well maintained. Roy and Joy’s friendliness and generosity made this place unique and special. We loved all the fresh fruit they shared from their garden as well as their advice on places to go. We were thrilled to be in what felt like a remote oasis, with easy access to some cool places. For example, we had fun snorkeling and exploring at Two Steps, which you can see from the house! We were grateful for the extra things they had available like fins and masks, beach chairs, and yoga mats. Not to mention their yummy coffee!

The Airbnb was a great place to relax and get some peace and quiet for our vacation. It was conveniently located within walking distance of the local farmers’ markets and a short drive from many great restaurants. I appreciate the host’s clear instructions and images to ensure a smooth check in, check out, and stay. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

Fairy's cottage was just spectacular. Spending time with both Fairy and Nico, the two kitties, was a special aspect that is rare to find. We loved being on this part of the island where you could drive back to Kona side still easily via the one highway. We fell in love with the closer town, Waimea, which had fantastic pizza and coffee and accessible groceries at Foodland. We went about 1,000 miles this trip but I kid you not, no drive felt too long due to the scenery. I cried leaving the house at the end.... that's how much we loved it and it felt dreamy hanging out there under the stars and with the ocean view. It was so private which made it a perfect honeymoon choice.

My family had a great time at Kevin & Cindy’s. The unit was great and the location was perfect for accessing all of the Kona activities and restaurants. We used the pool every day and the whole experience was lovely. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. 5/5!

I am a return guest at this lovely Airbnb. Everything is as described, and Lorelle goes out of her way to make sure to help you optimize your staycation. Do not hesitate to book and do not believe Cassie’s review. This is my second visit and the unit is definitely not dirty! I will be back again hopefully sooner than later! Thanks Lorelle!

We loved our stay at Krista’s place. It was fun getting daily visits from the little calico kitty and we enjoyed watching all the birds and geckos in the surrounding bamboo and banana trees. It was great to have a washing machine and dryer, as well as beach towels, chairs and umbrella. Krista provided excellent beach recommendations. Our favorite beach was Ho’okena, a 25 minute drive away from the house. Great snorkeling. We appreciated the delicious coffee, salad greens, and fruit that Krista provided from her own farm. Krista is an excellent host in every way – friendly, communicative and helpful.

Home away from home! Loved the outside bathroom and the visits from the cats and dogs and listening to the frogs and birds. A beautiful peaceful place on this earth!! Easy walk to the trailhead for walking down to snorkel…bring plenty of water. We would definitely stay here again!!

we just stayed for one night, but the host was really attentive at all time, the place was clean and beautiful. I hope next time we can stay longer

Definitely a 5 star ⭐️ we loved it and will be back for sure! Only 1 problem was getting there cause we didn’t realize it was so far up which turned out to be perfect because the wedding we were going was only 3 min away. Bonus was the washer & dryer and beautiful horses. Super clean and very cool. Glad we stayed here over a hotel. Thank you 🤙🏻

Todd’s place was a peaceful paradise. We were greeted with the lovely tropical sounds of birds, frogs, and crickets amongst the tropical plants and a gorgeous sunset which you could see from the lanai and also inside the house. The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very comfortable for the four of us. We were able to cook, play games, and in general enjoy our time in the house . Todd gave us a tour of his farm and some fresh vegetables. He laid out snorkeling gear for us to choose from . He was always extremely responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again.

This place was stunning. I could go on and on about all of the wonderful things about this place. Every evening I was gifted with an incredible sunset. The songs of the frogs lulled me to sleep each night only to wake up to the songs of the birds in the morning. The property is not only lush and green but isolated, private and wonderfully peaceful. The local Kona Only market on Sunday, the poke shop down the street, the local Hawaiian lau lau shop and the excellent Coffee Shack restaurant leave you missing nothing from the tourist center of Kailua Kona except the crowds, cars and hustle and bustle of a crowded tourist center. Great snorkeling and beaches within 15 minutes.

A beautiful place to stay high in the clouds of the windward side of the island - what’s not to love?

Absolutely loved our stay, beautiful property. A hotel or resort could absolutely never compare to having a morning cup of coffee on this property. The road is bumpy, just go slow and don’t be a baby. Jungle noises at night and fresh fruit across the property. Thank you!

Wow! Where to start. I know others have mentioned the gazebo but we really enjoyed the deck. Beautiful, secluded and so enjoyable and relaxing. Yvonne and I spent almost every dinner and evening on the deck enjoying wine and cheese. Neither one of us complained about the bed! Not sure that’s ever happened before. Robbie greeted us when we arrived and he was very friendly. Other than our pre travel questions we did not correspond much. For us the location was perfect, we’re traveling almost every day. I would highly recommend Robbie and Donna’s place for couples and maybe one other. Our time here was very memorable and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Mahalo!

We had a splendid time on Big Island at the cottage. Even though the unit is on the same property as the host's home, it feels separate and private. The fresh eggs and avocodos were yummy. There are some vacation homes where you have everything you need, I felt like at this place I had everything I would actually want! Thanks to our gracious hosts for letting us stay.

Krásné ubytování v klidném resortu. Apartmán výborně zařízen, včetně všeho potřebného příslušenství. Super bazén v resortu, celkem 3 grily pro grilování u oceánu při západu slunce. Rádi se sem vrátíme.

KJ was excellent! Friendly, responsive, fresh eggs every day! We loaded her chairs, beach umbrella and cooler in the jeep for the duration of our stay. We really enjoyed KJ and her Zen Sanctuary and would highly recommend!

We were in Hawaii for a short visit and wanted to avoid the tourist bustle of Kona and Waikoloa. Lea and Pat's place was just what we were looking for. This in-law unit behind the main house had everything we needed. Being 2000 feet above sea level made for much milder temperatures. It was lovely sleeping in the comfy bed with the windows open. Kamuela is a short hop to Waimea, with coffee shops and restaurants. The location was extremely central to everything on the island, just a 20 minute drive to beaches on the Kawaihae Coast and close to the saddle road to Hilo and a day trip to Volcanoes National Park. Lea and Pat were wonderful hosts and very responsive to any questions. Mahalo!

We had an amazing stay at this cottage! It was exceptionally clean and set in a very private location among fruit trees, surrounded by beautiful Kona coffee farms. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including snorkeling and beach gear, which was a great bonus. A fantastic snorkeling spot was just a 5-minute drive away. At night, the sounds of coqui frogs filled the air, adding to the charm of the experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the area!

Absolutely beautiful home in a beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet. The perfect place for a tranquil getaway. All the amenities anyone could ask for as well as accommodating hosts.

Everything was exactly as described in their listing. Some nice touches like all the switches were labeled and the instructions were very clear. The neighbors upstairs were a bit loud while walking. The location is excellent with excellent shops and dining within a 5-10 minute walk. The beach is also nearby with a fantastic pond with several fish and if you're lucky you may see some sea turtles basking on the shore. Highly recommend this property!
