Walter has a beautiful place with awesome views of the sunsets. It is remote, so you definitely need to get a car. Great recommendations for food. Walter was very friendly and super responsive for anything we needed. One thing to note for future renters, the doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are slatted for increased airflow. This does make sound travel, so privacy within your group may be limited.

Stuart’s Airbnb was wonderful. Well stocked with everything you could need, spacious and clean. We were able to walk to several shore fronts and beaches. Extra convenient to have beach and snorkel gear that we were able to use during our stay. Thanks again!

Truly unforgettable stay! From breathtaking ocean views to lush surroundings, every moment was enchanting. Each morning, we were greeted by charming horses nearby, adding to the serene atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring, whether venturing across the island or enjoying local snorkeling and paddleboarding. Despite its off-the-grid feel, it’s close to excellent restaurants and cafes, offering a perfect blend of peace and convenience. Morning walks through the coffee farm to the gift shop were a delightful highlight, surrounded by coffee plants and avocado trees. The home was comfortable with stunning views, and Kelly, an amazing host, made us feel immediately at home with her attentive and caring nature. As my son and I are audhd, Kelly's place provided a relaxing escape from overwhelming hotel environments, combining home comfort with luxury. Her thoughtful communication ensured our stay was magical. . We can’t wait to return! 🌺❤️

3 nights is not enough! This place was centrally located to explore the northern part of the island and Mauna Kea mountain. A little private jungle all your own. With the sound of a waterfall as you sleep. Be prepared for roosters, cats, possibly a random pig and geckos! Great views from every room. We ate meals at the table on the covered porch every day. Only 45 mins from soft sandy beaches and 10 mins to grocery store. Don’t forget to check out the farmers markets on Sat/ Sunday. In the area. Cheaper than the stores! Bring your own beach towels . Home made soaps and fruits/chocolates were a nice touch. Thanks again! Looking forward to staying in the future.

Staying at Jason's was really nice! The view was beautiful, the house was cozy and made us feel like we were home. The outside patio was such a nice place to relax! It was nice to have a quiet place for a few days and not be in a busy city! We loved it and will definitely be coming back! Thanks!

My family and I loved our experience at Elyas’s home for our first trip to Hawaii! The home was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Elyas and Lucas were very responsive and thoughtful hosts. We had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would definitely rebook with them if we ever come back to Waikoloa Village.

We stayed for 9 days with 4 children. The house is conveniently located on the mountain, comfortable temperature during day and night. Close to Kona. The place has well equipped kitchen amd bbq. We cooked meals. There are beach towels, beach umbrella and snorkeling equipment, laundry. Host is very friendly and responsive. Beds are comfortable.

The Aloha House is spectacular in every way. From the beautiful and peaceful garden to the wonderful wraparound deck, accessible from the bedrooms, and overall comfortable accommodations. It is steps away from Manini Beach which is a total paradise - you can put a kayak in Kealakakua Bay just feet away, walk two minutes and swim in the bay or watch dolphins from the beach. Beth is a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back!

This place was exactly what we needed! Even with a last minute double booking, they were accommodating and made the space work very well for us. They were always a text away, and very responsive. Close to what we needed, but also not in the middle of town where it was very busy. Thank you!

Amazing house, great stay. Great view. The drm has everything you need to stay, even extra things for the beach. There is also a gym and a jacuzzi. We always had something to do. We used Tesla as well, And we were quite satisfied.

Ruimin’s house can be described by the word ‘charm’. It was wonderful to stay in a house that was open to the ocean brise and to be able to wake up to the sounds of birds singing - while being protected by mosquito nets. The house is large and has a wonderful view over the town and the water, allowing for stunning sunsets. Ruimin is an attentive host and quickly provided what we needed (gas grill was not working and was promptly replaced). There is some disrepair to this older house (wood railing around the - great- hot tub), but everything is in good working order and the Hawaiian open-concept charm of the house makes it all worthwhile.

I loved this place. Stayed here a week with my mom. The balcony is large and the view is amazing. Despite there being a pool from the apartment next door, noise was never an issue. It was a five minute drive to the downtown. The pool area was relaxing. Jason was very responsive and kind. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

helpful host and nice house. Everything is perfect except for some cockroaches intruders. Highly recommended for those who love immersive experience in nature but also want to be close to amenities like restaurants and stores.

Kiki's place was incredible! So serene and peaceful. And they were so helpful in helping us with recommendations and finding things to do. Kiki and Bernie were also so quick to help and extremely friendly. I would certainly recommend visiting any of their listings and locations at any time. They do a phenomenal job at hosting and make the stay very pleasant!

Just like the pictures. Amazing view of the water, private space, kitchenette was super useful. Joseph was responsive and friendly. You are on a coffee farm so expect some wild animals, unpaved paths, etc. Overall a great stay and loved the location as it was close to the main town without having to be in town.

Nos hemos sentido muy a gusto en la Ohana de Brian y Linda, y nos han ayudado en seguida con todo lo que hemos necesitado. Casita muy confortable y amplia, totalmente equipada, situada debajo de la casa de los amfitriones, con un jardín privado muy agradable y amueblado muy cómodamente. Situado en un barrio tranquilo y seguro, a pocos minutos en coche del centro de Kona donde hay zonas de restaurantes y bares. Hay sitio para aparcar gratuitamente en la calle al lado de la ohana. Mahalo!!!

I stayed by myself for 5 nights and enjoyed my visit - this is a low key spot with a great view. The hosts are welcoming and down-to-earth. The “room” is actually a standalone studio separate from the main house with its own bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private outdoor shower. I felt very comfortable here. A few considerations to help you make your choice: 🛌 : the bed was comfy with lots of pillows; some noise from cars 🔐 : there is a key for you to lock the door from the outside and an additional sliding lock on the inside 🍳: there is a large sink, potable water, fridge, cook stove (on the older side), coffee maker, microwave, etc.; a DIY hostel vibe to the kitchenette… 🚽: small inside bathroom and the ask that you don’t flush paper; outdoor shower with privacy & HOT water 🪟: there are 2 windows that are screens only 🦎 : this is on the rustic side w/ geckos and insects; 2 friendly dogs 🐕 🚗: MUST have a car; arrive during the day; 25-45+ minutes to key spots

It’s very convenient that this property had free AC. It was also nice that we were able to cook full breakfast every day. That helps save a lot of money. Also great location!

Not your typical rental. This is someone 's private home so there is "stuff". But that also means you have everything you need. Kitchen has every imaginable gadget. Beautiful view of the beach from the fully furnished lani. Gorgeous tended garden with plenty of sitting areas and a fire pit. Plus many different fruits. Comfy beds, 3 beds and 2 baths. Perfect for couples or family. Host is friendly and very accommodating. Good location, close to beaches, restaurants and sites.

Loved this special home. This rustic but charming home was a the perfect get away. Now, to be fair the house does needs a little TLC. We will return because we got to be right on the beach.

Like the house and very clean. Had issues with all the chickens and roosters everywhere. They start around 2 am clucking until 6 am every night. Bring your ear plugs if you stay here. Outside of the noise every night we enjoyed the swimming pool!
