From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). “Dunella” is a lovely, easy to find cosy cottage on the Main Street. Lots of on-street parking. We celebrated Christmas here and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very welcoming, comfortable and well equipped in the kitchen. The games room was good, a bit cold - but to be expected this time of year. Hot tub was a bonus for a few extra pounds. Beds and linen were comfortable and towels also provided. The rooms throughout are very homely and beautifully decorated. It is on the Main Street and does have local pubs and restaurants nearby so noise is to be expected but it wasn't a nuisance. Meg was a very communicative host, and it was lovely to meet her just as we were leaving to thank her and compliment her on her lovely holiday home. Happy Holidays…

Laura's place is fantastic, very clean, spacious, inviting and relaxing. Very easy and quick to get to Glasgow Central from the house, much preferred alternative to staying in Glasgow. Lovely clean crisp bed linen, great lighting throughout, well equipped kitchen and offroad parking immediately outside the house, all perfect.

We stayed at Wester Walston Lodge to celebrate my mums 60th birthday. We had an amazing time and the lodge had everything we needed. We especially loved the hot tub and the private gardens. Would recommend and we would like to return in the future.

The house was exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away. We found it easily and arrived to fresh scones and prosecco, which was lovely. The house was clean and well-stocked, with plenty wood available for the fire. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. Sitting in the hot tub looking out at the hills and river was very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage, we had a great time and felt right at home. We stayed here for my mums 60th and it was so wholesome and magical. The lodge is stunning and a welcome basket with local produce was such a nice touch, as well as the Christmas tree! The hot tub was just what we were after too. It felt so peaceful while being well connected to nearby towns with bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

lovely place to stay feel right home. very cosy, loved that we could bring our puppy with us. will definitely come back ! Thank you for everything, not forgetting about the wee shop open 24/7 was perfect as there is everything what you need . The outside pizza oven superb you don't even need to bring food with you as there is plenty, thank you for everything once again , we will be back ❤️ love the place ❤️

This house was absolutely stunning and just as the pictures show, perfect weekend from start to finish, the area is quiet but close enough to the city centre, the whole place was immaculate, we felt so at home, the hot tub was perfect, we would love to return in the future, thanks scott

We had a lovely time at the house and the host was fabulous! We felt right at home and loved our time here- we hope we will be back! The house was very spacious with plenty space for the whole group. The hot tub and games room was a great perk as well! The whole group commented on how comfortable the beds were, and that made everyone’s trip all the more relaxing. If you have dogs, this place is great with a fully secure back garden.

We stayed as a group of 8 and could not rate our stay high enough! The area was stunning and private, the villa was spacious and comfortable and our host was attentive for the entire duration of the stay. We cannot wait to book our next stay and hope to make it an annual trip! 12 out of 10!

We stayed for 3 nights in February and would highly recommend Diana’s house. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the host who was overseeing the pool and hot tub being maintained for our use. The house is beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers were lovely and warm, the beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect. Our kids loved chilling in the pool and the hot tub. Great stay and we will definitely book again :)

Very welcoming upon arrival, showed us where everything is. Good appliances. Comfy atmosphere. Very willing couple, will help you out with what they can! Eg; directions, places to eat/drink. Hot tub nice and clean. Can’t fault the place or the hosts. Genuinely a good night stay. Recommend 100%

James was a great host. The place was nice and clean, and the good location made it even better. The convenience of the location added to the overall experience, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

To only give this Airbnb a 5 star rating feels very unfair, if I could have given it higher I would have. The property was beautifully presented, had amazing large communal spaces, with a very high standard of furniture, furnishings, and cleanliness. Our room was spacious and luxurious. The beds were great quality, and it was full of nice extra touches. The hosts were extremely generous, gracious, and friendly. A fantastic experience for us that will be hard for anyone else to top. We will definitely try to book this accommodation in the future when we are in the area. I have been fortunate enough to have many great experiences using Airbnb, but this was easily the Best.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodges and had a lovely time with all the family celebrating our silver wedding anniversary. James was amazing and always on hand to respond quickly when ever we asked anything. I highly recommend the lodges as it’s peaceful and quiet. A+++++++++++

We loved every minute of our stay here. The cabins were superb. Very clean and well maintained. They were even bigger than expected. The grounds were also very well maintained and kept. It was a lovey quiet place, and felt so homely. There was a ‘visitor/guest’ book left and it was so helpful with local directions etc. We have already started looking at dates I we can book to stay again. 5 star rating from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent accommodation and location, a real memorable trip. The restaurant is pretty much 'on-site' and was excellent. One negative - the hob. Seems like a small thing but when you are cooking for 8 and struggling to hold water at the boil it is frustrating. It was so weak. Since it is accommodation for 8, it really ought to be a more powerful hob. Frying bacon took *ages* ! Otherwise amazing, and highly recommended *****

Loved our stay here! Booked it for New Year and it was a perfect location for a couple. Amazing views and we were surprised by how much there is to do in the area. Catherine helped out with recommendations and was very helpful.

A beautiful cosy comfortable cabin in a lovely peaceful area. Great communication and easy entry into the cabin. We loved the extra touches of games and books. Everything you need for a cabin stay and if you forget anything there is a great vending machine for extra marshmallows fire wood ect! Can’t wait to return with our kids and explore the area more and use the swimming pool too!

We had an amazing time at Arranview. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The cafe on sight was excellent and well priced. The lakes and scenery on sight were beautiful and very nice to walk around. Well worth the money, will definitely be back!
