The lodge is lovely with an amazing view over the lake, we sat in the hot tub watching the birds on the lake it was so peaceful. Great place to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with our family and dog. Immaculate home with a real homely feel. Great kitchen to cook in too.

just what we wanted. a lovely caravan stay for young family and puppy. relaxing break before christmas madness. nice walk around lake, relaxing in hottub, playimg board games and enjoying precious family time xx caravan was roomy, cosy, clean and thoughtful welcome gifts x

We stayed here as a part of my partners birthday celebrations. This was our first time staying somewhere like this and the lodge was everything we could have wished for and more!! The check-in process was clear and easy. The lodge was well decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to have a great, relaxing weekend. The location was perfect, so beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was an obvious stand out for us, very warm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we could not fault our lodge and are already discussing coming back later in the year! We have also recommended to our families who are also interested.

From start to finish Scott has been sooooo accommodating. I had queries and questions before my stay and he helped answer anything I threw at him. The place is truly stunning! Everyone who was there was so wow’ed by the place and everything was very straight forward regarding heating or hot tub settings or even the tv or the PlayStation everything is all set, which is chefs kiss 👌🏼 The place was clean and exactly as described and pictured. It was a amazing birthday getaway for me and I will certainly be back 🙆🏻‍♀️

Amazing place. Perfectly matched the photos, incredibly clean. It was so immaculate it was almost as if no one had ever visited before but at the same time it's so homely! Hot tub was clean and private and the back is completely enclosed if you have young kids or dogs. Bed was super comfy. Check in was really easy due to clear instructions and friendly staff. Host really proactive on messages and gave local food recommendations. 30 mins from York city centre and 1hr 20mins from North East coast. Can't wait to come back soon! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place.the location is great and the dog friendly beach was probably one the best beaches we have visited.Michelle was great host, communication was fantastic with all recommendations of what to do and any questions I had were answered within 30 minutes. The chalet was clean and tidy and very cosy. With friendly neighbours all around. Would definitely recommend and also come back. Thank you Michelle.

Had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin especially the little extras like board games. It’s very dog friendly with the balcony. Would have loved to use the bbq but the weather wasn’t so kind with the wind. All in all great place to stay and plenty of things to do in the area. Thanks again

Superb location on this popular holiday site/camp. Even though out of season there is still evening entertainment should you wish to go to it. Just a short walk across the dunes to a vast expanse of sandy beach.

Truly special place for all and particularly for us with our four children. The woods, den building and genuinely peaceful vibe was a big win for all.

A view that you could look at forever! The place was stunning and the cabin had everything you could need. The hot tub was lovely, in the day and at night, and the living space was a perfect size for 2 of us with our 2 doggies. A perfect area for the dogs to run around, and of course a splash in the pond! We had a well needed relaxing time.

Fantastic stay at Scandinavian lodge. We wanted to avoid the fireworks at NY with our little dog who is terrified of them & we couldn’t have possibly found a more peaceful retreat to do that. The lodge is cosy, homely, and perfectly positioned on the site to enjoy a lot more privacy than some of the others. Pictures don’t justify how spacious this lovely lodge is - with a beautiful large room / kitchen diner, and 2 generous sized bedrooms . The lodge was well equipped & catered for everything we needed. We loved the large selection of games and enjoyed playing on the Wii. A coffee on the veranda on a morning overlooking the trees/golf course was just beautiful. We enjoyed some days by the coast - Ingoldmells & Skegness roughly 25-35mins away. We would love to return again in the future.

Absolute gem of a place to stay, with every detail thought of to make sure every need was met. Very generous breakfast supplied with fresh milk, orange juice, pastries, cereals, bread and jam, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Along with the beautiful decor and cosy ambience, this was a real find and I will be back! Thanks Martin.

Lovely stay! Nice and clean and a lovely hot tub and provided with everything you need. only a 20 min drive from miles of golden sand too! Would definitely visit again, pictures were a totally different decor to what we actually got but in our case we actually preferred what we got so no complaints there it’s just something to be mindful of! I think there is a couple of different ones x

Had a lovely weekend in Daniel’s caravan at the lakes , beautiful location looking out on the lake, caravan was amazing, modern, spotless and had everything we needed plus nice extras such as dishwasher. Communication about booking was excellent and answered any questions promptly . Will definitely return and hoping to book for next year . Would highly recommend this accommodation .

Lovely, peaceful location, which served as a convenient base for our weekend in York, just a 25 minute drive away. Spacious cabin for our family of 4, which could comfortably fit 6 people. The balcony and garden are nice sunny areas to sit for morning breakfast and coffee. Our host was friendly and we would happily stay again.

A relaxing stay in a lovely quiet setting. The hut was clean, compact and cosy. Bed very comfy and little extras in food basket were a lovely addition. Thank you!
