Amazing stay, absolutely beautiful location, very peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely place, very clean, great location. The cabin had the most amenities of any place we have ever stayed. lots of little touches to make it a lovely stay. The wildlife on the lake was captivating. The cabin was spacious, warm, homely, comfortable and directly overlooked the lake. The massive clubhouse just a short walk away. Lots of walks around the lakes. Trish was a great host with excellent, helpful communication. Highly recommended!

We had an unforgettable and special stay at this beautiful house. The sunny woodland walks among the snowdrops and around the lake were a delight, and we spotted all sorts of wildlife. Our dogs had a great time running and playing in the open field, and the small children (and big kids) in our party absolutely loved the play area, tennis court, and swimming pool… but the highlight of their stay was the hot tub! Meeting our host, Robert (and his little one), was lovely too. The house had everything we needed to enjoy some quality time together in this lovely historic setting — it’s a rare gem. Thank you once again for an unforgettable experience! The little ones are already asking when we can return to the big house — we hope to come again soon!

A lovely, spacious family home with plenty of room for everyone. The setting suited us perfectly, a big private driveway, lots of parking, and backing on to open fields. The kitchen diner is a great space, with patio doors out to a large garden. The sitting room is also lovely and very spacious. The house was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with the basics, there was a big range cooker which was perfect as we were cooking for a small family gathering. With such a large space downstairs and all the facilities, it was also easily accessible for family members who are not so mobile. The location is very easy to find, a few minutes from the M180 but in the peaceful village of Belton. Alison was very helpful, always quick to respond, and nothing was too much trouble. All in all we had a great stay, thank you.

An absolute gem! We booked an overnight stay but wish we'd booked for longer. Opening the door into the kitchen took our breath away and it didn't end there. We stayed in the Lord of the Manor room which was dressed with beautiful furnishings and every luxury you could ever want. The room was spotlessly clean and warm with a well stocked mini bar including snacks and drinks. The bed was very comfortable with immaculate linen and plenty of pillows for a great night's sleep. After a long drive the huge bath was a very welcome sight, plenty of hot water and high quality toiletries. Communication with Emily and family was excellent, response time was very quick and instructions on how to check in and access our room were very clear. We can't wait to return during the warmer months to take full advantage of the beautiful grounds. It's clear a lot of love has been put into transforming Sawcliffe Manor, we will definitely be returning!

The house was impeccably clean and proper. Kevin was very responsive and helpful as a host. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely study there again.

He was extremely happy with the property, and sent me the following comments: - "The cottage was very clean and had everything you could possibly need, the fire was a real bonus, it was easy to find and in a very quiet rural area. Definitely recommend and would stay again." From my point of view, Vivienne was an excellent host, and responded promptly to messages. It was very easy to arrange everything with her.
