Wir waren begeistert von Hugos Haus. Lage und Ausblick grandios, optimal für Nordlichtbeobachtung. Direkt am Meer gelegen, wir haben einen Wal, Seeotter, Seeadler und viele andere Tiere von dort beobachten können. Sehr ruhig, Einkaufsmöglichkeit nicht weit weg. Landschaftlich wunderschön. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet, sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet. Küche hervorragend. Hugo war sehr um uns besorgt, als wir den Rauchmelder ausgelöst hatten, rief er sofort an. Bei Problemen war er sofort erreichbar und hilfreich! Wir können das Haus wärmstens empfehlen und werden gerne wiederkommen! Vielen Dank, Hugo! Volker und Anne

Wir waren mit 13 Monate altem Kind 1 Woche Ende März/Anfang April in der Unterkunft. Sie liegt je nach Straßenverhältnissen etwa 30 Minuten von Tromsø entfernt. Sie ist perfekt für Menschen die etwas Ruhe von der Stadt möchten, aber trotzdem in Reichweite für Aktivitäten dort sein möchten. Die Unterkunft ist top gepflegt und sehr sauber. Es ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Dank der vielen großen Fenster hat man das Gefühl, direkt am Fjord zu sitzen. Da wir ein kleines Kind haben haben wir viel Zeit in der Unterkunft verbracht, Schiffe auf dem Fjord angeschaut und die Landschaft bewundert. Bei gutem Wetter kann man bis nach Tromsø schauen. Für uns war es perfekt und wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

We've had an amazing stay at Høyrostua! The place is simply perfect to spend a couple of days and rewind. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. If you are into skiing, it's a ski in, ski out place so perfect! The kitchen is really well equiped, big and clean. We've seen amazing Northern Lights and you can even watch it from inside through all the big windows. Communication with Øyvind is really good! Very fast as well. Thank you so much Øyvind and Hege!

Ever was perfect. The house, the surroundings. Perfect place to see the northern lights. And we were able to see a seal as well. Nice sunny days and also to experience the real winter has given the real wow feeling.

Très grande maison avec 3 chambres, cuisine équipée, salon et salle à manger. Parking sur place, à proximité de la grande route mais honnêtement la nuit c'est très tranquille. A proximité des magasins et de Tromso. Cette maison nous aura portée chance puisque nous avons pu voir les aurores boréales. Le propriétaire est très attentif à que tout se passe bien en plus.

La maison est spacieuse, très bien chauffée (chauffage au sol dans l'entrée et les salles de bain très agréable), avec une magnifique vue depuis le balcon (d'où l'on peut voir les aurores par temps clair!). Tout était très propre et cosy. Nous voyagions avec toute la famille avec deux bébés (9 mois et 2 ans et demi), il y avait des lits et des chaises hautes pour les deux. La cuisine est très bien équipée, mieux qu'espéré! La rampe d'accès pour les voitures est légèrement en pente, ce qui peut être un peu glissant en hiver mais les voitures de location sur place (4 roues motrices) sont tout à fait adaptées. Il y a une supérette accessible à pied (3min) et une borne de recharge pour voiture à 5min. Tom est très réactif pour toutes nos questions.

Le séjour était fantastique! La maison est un véritable bijou. Nous avons un peu dérangé les voisins lors d’une soirée prolongée dans le jacuzzi et nous en sommes désolés… pour les suivants pensez à ne plus faire de fête à l’extérieur après 11pm ! Merci mille fois pour ce bel accueil dans cette région merveilleuse

The apartment is big and very luxurious. The location is also perfect and has grocery shop and restaurants nearby. We really felt like home, it provided us warmth and comfort. Wenche is really helpful and very responsive. Wenche always helped us with whatever we wanted. We also saw northern lights from this apartment which was magical!! If you are travelling to tromso, then you must definitely stay at Wenche’s apartment, you will never regret it trust me!

Great little place to stay in especially if you are a solo traveler. Right near the bus stop and it’s about a 10 minute bus ride into town.

Clean and nice place with proper heating, which is important during a visit in March, the kitchen is well equipped (just no microwave oven but it was manageable)

Beautiful surroundings; spotless clean and comfortable apartment, tastefully decorated; easy to walk to the city centre and plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby, close to bus stops.

Torbjorn and Karen were superb hosts. extremely warm, responsive and helpful. They allowed us early check in and late check out too. One evening we weren't getting a cab, and Torbjorn very seetly drove us down to the city centre. Clean functional room, kitchen, hall. Bus stations are nearby and walkable. Absolutely a must stay due to beautiful surroundings and wonderful hosts!

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

Der Aufenthalt bei Ingrid und Eirik war wunderschön. Wir sind spät gelandet und konnten trotzdem unkompliziert einchecken. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Zur Stadt sind wir entweder gelaufen oder mit dem Bus gefahren, eine Haltestelle ist in der Nähe. Wir würden jederzeit wieder bei Ingrid und Eirik übernachten :)

Det var en fin og rein leilighet. Vi koste oss der. Grei vei til sentrum. Kommer gjerne tilbake.

Appartement agréable, calme à proximité de Lyngseidet. Belle vue sur le fjord. Emplacement permettant de découvrir facilement les Alpes de Lyngen. Possibilité de randonner à ski ou en raquettes en partant de la maison ! Un beau séjour !

Jorun hatte schon viele Gäste in ihrem Haus auf Sommaroy. Wie alle Gäste vor uns auch,kann ich nur von Herzen bestätigen was für eine tolle Gastgeberin Jorun ist und wie wohl wir uns von Anfang bis Ende in ihrem Haus gefühlt haben!!!!! Auch bei einer Anreise die wetterbedingt alles andere als glatt verlaufen ist ,stand sie uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, vielen Dank dafür;) Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen, zum einen um Joruns Gastfreundschaft noch einmal zu genießen und zum anderen um eine zweite Chance zu bekommen die Polarlichter doch noch sehen zu können, was dieses mal leider nicht der Fall war. Sehr schönes Landhaus in ruhiger Lage auf der Insel. Wunderschöne Umgebung mit Blick aufs Meer. Wer ein paar ruhige Tage verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig. Am anderen Ende der Insel gibt es leckeren Fisch zu kaufen und in den Supermärkten deutlich mehr Auswahl als wir dachten

Incredible surroundings. We were fortunate to have a crisp clear night when the Aurora appeared above the house. We also had lots of snow which was great fun for walking, sledging and playing. The hot tub is a wonderful indulgence.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Stig. Celui-ci nous a donné des informations sur la faune visible sur le fjord en hiver (oiseaux, loutres, phoques) , sur la météo, ainsi que sur les commerces du coin. Il a répondu rapidement à nos questions et nous a incité à être prudent sur les routes très enneigées à cette période de l'année. Enfin nous avons apprécié qu'il vienne déneiger l'accès au chalet ainsi que l'emplacement pour la voiture. En résumé sa maison est très bien située et vraiment confortable.

All fine, but there is a steep road leading to the house, so it might be necessary to park in front of the garage at the main road in case the road is too slippery.

Vi har de siste årene tatt en høsttur med familien til dette huset. Her trives vi veldig godt. Det er stille og rolige omgivelser, og huset er koselig og velutstyrt. Det er flotte uteområder, både hva gjelder hagen, fjæra og skogen like ved. Frode er hyggelig å kommunisere med og svarer raskt. Vi kommer gjerne igjen og anbefaler huset varmt videre til andre :)
