The flat was gorgeous, lush soft carpets, warm, bright, gorgeous decor and interesting books to peruse. Jane really has her eye in with hospitality and there were cookies and tea, a whole bottle of proper milk and orange juice. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is quiet overlooking the Mersey river, which is tidal and turns into a beach in the morning! Its a short walk to the ferry over to Liverpool (if its running) or bus to train /taxi ride over to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment and we enjoyed the quiet away from the city too. Thank you Jane!

Lovely first floor apartment, as described. Gorgeous views across the Strait. It was peaceful, Lovely and warm and perfectly clean. It was super easy to gain access via a lock box and there was reserved parking in front of the garage building to the side. It would be possible to get two cars side by side in the parking space. The road up is narrow when you meet a car coming the opposite way, but it's not busy. We didn't walk anywhere so I can't comment on walkability, but it was a great location to visit Conwy (en route), Caernarfon, Anglesey & Criccieth. We had a lovely few days there. The only thing I'd change would be the little love-seat in the window corner; it would've been lovely to have a nice armchair or rocking chair there to sit in and read and/enjoy the view. The love-seat was OK to perch on for a little while, but not really comfortable to sit on for any length of time.

Niccy could not have been more helpful from the booking process to being very reponsive and helpful when we arrived. The apartment is in a very quiet location with views over the water and is well equipped with comfortable beds and good bathrooms.

We stayed for two nights with our son (4 adults and our 3 year old) and the hosts were great with communication at every stage. They were excellent and if we had any issues (we didn’t), I would have been very comfortable in the knowledge they would help and resolve it quickly. Regarding the stay, the key collection was the one negative, however we understand in a city centre, a shop collection is the safest and most flexible way for a hostless check-in. The shop is around 0.9 miles away from the property but due to road works, it wasn’t easily accessible. That’s not something the hosts could help though. Overall the rest of the stay was great. The cleaner was there on arrival (before check in time) and she even helped with our luggage and let us put it inside whilst she finished. She was a great friendly face! The place is clean, well kept and modern. A very good base for a city visit, or a longer stay. I highly recommend! Thank you for having us!

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Marie’s cottage. Spacious, clean and bright. We enjoyed the view from the bedroom on the top floor, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Nice shower, great facilities in the kitchen (dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine). Stair gates were perfect for our 18 month old. Beds were comfy! Parking was tricky, it was busy due the sunny weather. We had to park quite far from the property but you are able to unload on Menai street and the neighbours were all very friendly. We had a great time and we would definitely return if we get the chance to come back to this beautiful part of Wales!

My family stayed for a break at the start of the Easter holidays and had a fantastic time. The house was spacious and just what we needed as a base for exploring the local area. Hot tub was such a bonus. Helen was a great host, responding to any queries we had really promptly. Would highly recommend

Super location in many ways; coastal walks in either direction, in the heart of Porthmadog yet very peaceful, wonderful views from the balcony of the hills and the tidal waters. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Bonus to have parking outside the front door. Lynn's a great host; helpful and quick to respond.

This accommodation was absolutely wonderful. It was beautifully decorated with a fabulous balcony seating area overlooking the river - a great place to relax with an evening glass of wine. Hayley was a dream to correspond with and the welcome pack exceeded our expectations ( I will never say "no" to wine and Easter eggs!). It was located just off the A road, giving easy access to the wonderful scenery of the area, but was wonderfully peaceful. I cannot recommend this place highly enough- we will be back!

We had a fantastic family weekend. The house was great, lots of parking, spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the surroundings were very peaceful. Instant private access to the beach, bbq (but we didn’t use it) hot quooker tap in the kitchen made it a home from home. We booked a Tesco delivery to arrive when we did. The kitchen is well equipped, lots of crockery and glasses. Honestly, no complaints at all. There were 12 of us in total and plenty of room. It was a great stay and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn’t eat out although we did pop for an icecream and a beer in the sea shanty. There are a number of restaurants a few mins walking distance. Overall all full marks

We had a fab week celebrating my 60th birthday - a beautiful house in a superb location for walking, cycling and kayaking. Superb facilities and a great host.

Great little gem of a place, right on the seafront at Barmouth. We were grateful that Geoff gave us advance notice that we could arrive a bit earlier for checking in, which helped us make the most of our stay. It was lovely to be greeted with a bottle of Prosecco too, a very generous welcome. The place is lovely, is exactly as described, it was quick to heat up after we arrived (we visited in February), the facilities seemed great, although we didn’t do any cooking during our stay. Bed was comfy, although at 6’4”, I found it a little small for me. Bathroom is lovely, plenty big, very clean and everything works well. The location is brilliant - you can see the sea and it’s a short walk to both the beach and the town, including Barmouth’s pubs and restaurants. Barmouth is a beautiful little seaside town, with its long beaches, mountainous backdrop, great places to eat and drink - it’s massively underrated. Geoff was very friendly and responsive, I would recommend and we will stop again

Claire and her family were wonderful hosts. The booking was spacious and allowed easy access to the neighborhood. We would definitely stay again and recommend to any.

Great place for visiting family and friends. Had a great time. The only thing I would say is you need to say about few steps to kitchen and bathroom as it’s a bit hard when you have problems with knees, otherwise it was excellent.

The apartment is beautiful and very true to description. Amazing location and very well equipped. It is some walk from the other docks but worth it. Easily found. Claire was really helpful prior to our stay. We didn’t need to contact her during the stay due to no problems at all.

I have to say Michele’s apartment is simply superb. My wife and I stayed on our way to Ireland but wished we could have stayed longer. Great hospitality from Michele and great attention to detail . Thanks so much to you both.

The house was beautiful, light and spacious with an idyllic view over the mountains estuary and Barmouth bridge. It was only a 5 mins walk to the centre so it was away from the bustle of town centre. There is a little beach across the road as well and then large sandy main beach of Barmouth. Highly recommend a meal at The Last when staying here . The food is always brilliant!

Chris was easy to deal with, and proactively gave us local amenities. Easy to deal with, and next time we’re up, would definitely book again!
