Such a stunning tranquil location. Peaceful and beautiful. Everything needed for the four night stay we had but equally for a longer stay. Fitted to a high standard. Great communication from Nicola. A wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend.

Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

Perfect for our use as a base for Alton Towers - only a 25 minute drive away. We had dinner at the Stafford Arms in the nearby village one night and it was brilliant. The Annex itself was very cosy and ideal for our family of 2 adults, a 9 year old and a 1.5 year old. Already planning a return trip!

We had a lovely week away at the Hayloft and were blessed with beautiful weather too. The property is spotlessly clean, comfortable and homely with wonderful views over the countryside. We enjoyed days trips to Witley Court and Coombe Abbey, as well as discovering many of the farm shops in the area. Charlene was an amazing host. Always quick to respond and provided us with many recommendations for the local area. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlene's property and hope to go back again in the future ourselves.

I had a wonderful stay and the fox's den is a gorgeous place. Everything was wonderfully laid out and there was so many small little touches that were just so cute and amazing. Definitely want to come back and stay for a longer period next time!

David is great host - friendly and welcoming. He was very flexible and accommodating with my long stay booking. And very responsive when I needed help with fixing a problem. Many thanks, David.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. There was nothing I could suggest to make it better. Really friendly couple and so easy to deal with. Pete and Sue's dog was very friendly. The area is beautiful and great walks so close by amd nice pubs on the river to enjoy food and a relaxing drink. Thanks a million to Pete and Sue.

Lovely cosy place to stay, spotlessly clean with everything you need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, great location, peaceful and quiet, a great base to explore surrounding areas. Claire and Mike are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, will return if in area again.

My husband and I plus our elderly cat stayed at Vanessa and Dom's gorgeous Garden Room whilst in the area looking for a property. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, modern, and inviting with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen was great, well stocked and we cooked meals every night. Lovely fluffy towels provided in the bathroom and plenty of hot water. A great little area in the hallway provided a washing machine and we had a rotary line at the side of the bungalow. The lounge overlooked their beautiful back garden which was both very private and peaceful. Everything we could possibly need! Both Vanessa and Dom were extremely welcoming and friendly and communication was excellent. We have really enjoyed our stay and meeting their lovely dog Pablo, such a character! We would definitely recommend! Thank you Vanessa and Dom for a lovely stay!

Had such a lovely stay at Sophie and Joe’s Annex that by the end of our stay we didn’t wanted to leave. The place is beautifully decorated and cozy. It was so nice to have some treats for us already in the kitchen and also food for the chickens. Had lots of fun feeding them!

Amanda was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Cedar Cottage is lovely and made a great base for exploring the area. We appreciated the the extra touches such as cake and coffee pods. The cottage is fitted out to a high standard and was very clean and well equipped with eveything you could need. The folder with the walks and things to was very helpful. Definately would return.

Really nice space. The living area was particularly comfortable and the outside area when the weather is warmer will be fabulous. Really handy for what we needed for our weekend visiting family. Thank you!

Would give this place 6 stars if I could, might be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at, the Airbnb was beautiful and we felt right at home. I highly recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be returning as I couldn’t get enough of the place. Elizabeth was a responsive and friendly host who was extremely helpful and kind. You can tell that Elizabeth takes great pride in her Airbnb and it is reflected in the exceptional standard of the place. I couldn’t speak more highly of the host and the Airbnb if I tried.

It was a lovely cottage, perfect for us. We had two little ones with us too so the travel cot, high chair and toys were amazing. Made it easier for us! Super responsive too and everything was just as described. We even got some little treats on arrival, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. Great stay. Thank you so much for having us :)

Absolutely STUNNING! Honestly, one of the best places we have ever stayed. We were looking forward to our trip as it looks stunning on the photos but its even better in person!! What a location... just perfection! Cannot fault it at all. We travelled to Nottingham for a birthday celebration (child free!) and to explore whats changed in the city since I went to uni. The accommodation was the perfect place for this and we would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fabulous stay, the Barn was spotless and beautifully furnished to a high spec. Large and spacious but also warm and cosy. Really great touches throughout, Andrew has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and luxurious. The most gorgeous spot surrounded by snowdrops and nature. We visited Bradgate park in the sunshine which was perfect and only a short drive away. Really great we were able to charge our car too and the hot tub was brilliant. We were super grateful for the thoughtful treats that Andrew left to help us celebrate our 40th birthdays as well as the handy welcome package of essentials. The coffee machine with pods was a massive bonus. We enjoyed using the duck food that was provided too! Andrew was really welcoming and on hand if we had any issues. Thanks again Andrew, we’d love to come back

The place was great, cosy and modern. Kept to a really clean standard with all amenities one could need. Kerry was very good with communication and always helpful. Definitely would recommend!

It certainly was a beautiful place, with great views and very tranquil. James' partner came to welcome me and ensured that I had everything I needed. And, of course, Parker (the dog) who came to say hello. I did not see much of James and his partner during my extended stay as they gave me my own space, but when I did see them they were very friendly and happy to chat. I could not have found a better place to stay, I highly recommend it.

A comfortable stay

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very well presented and finished to a high standard. Everything you could need was in the kitchen. The annex was in a short walk to three pubs/restaurants that provide food. The village is very friendly and tidy. Carl was particularly prompt and attentive when when we discovered a small repair issue in the en suite. Excellent all round service. We will definitely be back.

We spent 6 nights in the annex and enjoyed our stay very much. Burton Overy is a beautiful village and the annex is located in a quiet and peaceful spot right on the edge of the village. Both my husband and I slept really well. The annex is well kitted out with a powerful shower, comfortable beds and lots of useful kitchen utensils. Tracey was a brilliant host - very responsive to messages and friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend the annex to anyone visiting the local area.
