So many great things to say. Wayne was a lovely host, showed us around the air bnb and gave us lots of information about things to do near by. The house was amazing, especially for the price. Beautiful scenery. Great location if you want to feel some privacy but also a short drive away from restaurants and pubs. Definitely recommend. Thanks Wayne

We had a lovely weekend at the cottage, booked as we had plans in the local area. It is a lovely quiet location seemingly in the middle of nowhere. What comes with this is a drive down down a long track which was intersting in the pitch black as we arrived late! The converted barn looks out into a small courtyard, on which the horses are stabled in the adjacent side. The size was perfect for our family of 4, with the 2 kids in a twin on one side of the lounge/kitchen and us in a double on the other side. Phillipa sent excellent instructions on how to get there which were helpful when arriving in the dark, even though we had it on GoogleMaps. We would definitely come back.

A great find for our 4-night trip to Yorkshire in terms of location, size and comfort of property. Christina was great, quick to respond to our initial enquiry and making sure we had all we needed but leaving us enjoy our stay.

We had a lovely stay at Pear Tree Barn. The barn is really warm and cosy. Everything was really nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen had absolutely everything you could need and we felt very at home here. Cath was very friendly and helpful and was very kind in allowing us to stay a few extra hours as it snowed heavily on our last day. We definitely would recommend staying here and would love to come back here on our next visit…

Perfect place for a large family or friends to get together in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The house is very spacious , extremely comfortable and well cared for . Castle Howard is a 5 min drive or a pleasant hours walk away along either footpaths across fields/ woods or along the road . Plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs can be found in nearby Malton and in some of the other surrounding villages such as Hovingham. Victoria and Benjamin are great hosts and happy to help with any queries we had .

We had an excellent stay. The cottage was clean and tidy and the fruit scones were a very nice touch. Michael was a very responsive host and the instructions he gave for how to arrive were very helpful. An excellent base to explore York from as it is only a few minutes drive from a park and ride site. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit York.

We had a brilliant stay, Steve showed us round which was great. Lovely and warm kept out of the storm outside. Well furnished and the pub in the village is well worth a visit

The house was everything we could have expected. In a quiet spot with great views and sheep to greet you in the morning. The furniture and beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. Two bathrooms and an extra loo downstairs was very 'convenient'! As you can tell, we greatly enjoyed our short stay.

We love it here! It's our second stay and hopefully not our last. Peaceful, private, glorious views and so cosy - especially with the fire going and rain lashing outside. It's even nicer in person than the photos show and the new parking spot and path to the door are great improvements. Barry replied to our questions really quickly and was so helpful and friendly. Can't recommend enough, if in doubt book it now! Hebden bridge has many cafes catering to vegan/gluten/lactose free too. Thanks Barry!

We had a lovely stay at The Shed with our cocker spaniel puppy. A little gem of a place that had everything we needed and was super clean. A peaceful location with a private garden, driveway and nice views. Yearsley Woods is a short 5 min drive away for scenic dog walks. The nearest village Hovingham has a village shop, bakery and a Michelin star restaurant Myse. Nicola was a very accommodating and super responsive host. We'd love to stay again.

Incredible place in beautiful settings. Beware of house envy when visiting as it will blow you away! The only minor minor flaws is that the only bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom as it is an en suite. Photos don't do this place justice it's fantastic!

Loved staying here, so peaceful and relaxing. Welcome basket was amazing, so thoughtful. Fire was great and instructions really helpful. Jacky was v responsive and proactive when needed, and flexibility with checkout as there was no one in afterwards was a huge blessing. I’d highly recommend here!

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn, Rebecca was a very helpful host providing us with the welcome pack ahead of arrival so that we could book local restaurants. The house was lovely and cosy, with a fantastically equipped kitchen and lovely surroundings for walking. The thoughtful touch of brownies and fizz was the icing on the cake! We would definitely recommend Rebecca as a host and would hope to return for another trip!

We didnt meet Ailsa for our two night stay but she was really responsive on messages and we loved our stay at the Bothy. The bothy was spotless and everything we needed for our short visit. The views and surrounding area was beautiful. We found the best cafe in Helmsley called the feather trail cafe which did amazing breakfast and coffee (highly recommend) we also did some short walks around the area too but would love to come back for more longer hikes too.

Lovely accommodation just like the photos. Beautiful old converted barn, very tastefully decorated and quality lines and bedding. Bed very comfortable too.

The Cow Shed is a great place to stay to discover North Yorkshire. Although attached to the owners house it’s extremely private with its own entrance. The views are spectacular and when we were there in late August lavender bushes were flowering all around the property. Lucy was a kind, communicative and attentive host and the information provided in the house about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc was extremely useful. We particularly enjoyed The Square and Compass pub nearby. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. We loved the four poster bed with views across the countryside and the pool table provided hours of entertainment!

Fantastic accommodation on beautiful and peaceful farm. Everything is as described, would happily stay there again.Just make sure that you buy some treats for a dog and cat,they are very friendly.

Corey greeted us when we arrived showed us around explained how things worked it is beautiful barn conversion done to a very high standard it’s very modern beds are so comfy .. hot tub is one of the we have used and echo was just great so can play music while in the hot tub was so good we had such lovely relaxing time such beautiful surroundings and very secure as we have a dog and he was able to wander out safely everything was thought of right down to toys for the dog we will definitely return thanks Corey for looking after us when we stayed

We would highly recommend Sutcliffe Barn. It is cosy, characterful, spotlessly clean and well laid out. Great walks from the door in a very picturesque location. The sauna is fabulous, great to relax in and with beautiful views. Thank you Carolyn and Brian for being such wonderful hosts.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

We had such a lovely week here! Within a day we were plotting our return. Karen's cottage is just gorgeous. Went with my other half and his parents and it was a perfect size for 4 (we then had a few days to ourselves after they left and great for 2 people as well). Wonderful views from the windows and from the front yard. It was a little cool for us to sit at the table outside but we did manage one lunch outside and in warmer weather it would be glorious both day and night. The house is clean, quiet, comfy beds, good shower, lovely decor, great woodburner, all mod cons needed in the kitchen, and really nicely done up. So ticks all boxes basically! The location is perfect - just 5 min walk to the little high street and the pubs (great pubs & great beer)and eateries there. Karen is great - super friendly and helpful - gave us lots of tips about the local area. And great to communicate with - replies within minutes. Def recommend and very much hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful week of peace, calm and walking in lovely accommodation with wonderful views. Close to Whitby and plenty of excellent places to visit.
