We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

We had a great stay. The flat was spotlessly clean with lovely personal touches like fresh flowers and fruit too 😊 we had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel, and freshly laundered towels. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

Cottage located on smallholding where you are entertained by the hens, cockerels, pigs and sheep! Feels remote and peaceful but within 10 mins drive of amenities. One bathroom, which was very accessible for someone with mobility issues. Lovely treats awaiting us on arrival. A warm welcome and great communication from hosts!

A beautiful place for two and great outside space. Everything perfect and great welcome too. Parking isn't the best but okay and I do recommend a visit and a great town also

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights at this beautiful and cozy home. It was so well organised and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We loved the charming decor and all the thoughtful details. Anthony was a wonderful host- approachable, kind, and very helpful. His clear instructions made everything smooth and stress free. The nearby forest walks were really nice, and the stream running through the woods made it so refreshing. The local people were friendly and helpful. The house itself was such a delight that we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Wow, we loved our stay at Michael’s place and he really is a super host. Couldn’t fault his service in any way. The house itself was perfect for our group, left clean and comfortable by his lovely cleaner (Mum!). Michael was also super responsive and receptive to our needs and really friendly guy. The location itself was perfect to our needs, tucked away but still local and central. Thanks Michael, we will definitely return!

I had a great stay at Steve’s place, he was very helpful and easy to contact and gave me some great recommendations for local pubs. The place was clean, warm and exactly as described with a very comfortable bed and a nice driveway to park on. Thanks again

Thank you Lesley & Jez, for letting us stay in your wonderful property. Everything needed for a short break was provided and we appreciated the loan of the rucksack as we had forgotten ours. A lovely comfy bed and very quiet and peaceful, for a good nights sleep after some long walks with the dog. We only had three full days but made the most of them with a canal side walk to Saltaire, a day spent at Round Hay park in Leeds which our dog loved. Also a day in Leeds city which we were impressed by how clean and tidy it was. Loved the Tea cake you made for us, and will be trying your recipe shortly. Thanks again William & Theresa.

We had an amazing time at this place, it was peaceful and the view is absolutely amazing. The old post house is fully stocked, we felt like every detail was thought about and Mike was a lovely and responsive host. Highly recommend

A really lovely B&B - warm and cosy. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, spotless bathroom. Everything you needed in the kitchen plus thoughtful extras to make you feel welcome like milk, water, cereal etc. Highly recommend- will be back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The location was beautiful and the wigwam was surprisingly spacious and very clean, kitchen came equipped with everything you needed. The host Jim met us on our arrival and settled us in explains how to heat the hot tub and general advice, he was very welcoming and friendly. The children loved the hot tub and the fire pit to roast marshmallows! I will be coming back to this place as there is a lot to do around it with Sutton Bank 10 min drive away. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay!

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

I have just got home from my stay and I wish I was still there! Caroline was extremely welcoming, friendly and gave helpful recommendations of things to do in the area. The cabin was absolutely AMAZING! It was spotless, cosy, had everything I needed and more and the location was perfect - so peaceful, with beautiful views. Being able to watch the wildlife, especially the red squirrels was incredible. I honestly don’t think the photos do this place justice, it truly exceeded my expectations and I would say it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed in the UK! I can’t wait to come back!

We’ve just spent an amazing 2 nights here with our 8 year old daughter and we can’t wait to return . It was soo peaceful and relaxing, the accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the honesty shop and enjoyed delicious fresh eggs for breakfast, the children’s park was a lovely little addition. The hot tub was pristine and the perfect temperature. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay as everything was perfect from check in to check out. The bed was soo comfortable and we all had the best nights sleep. 100% would recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed Thank you

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was the perfect stay ! The cabin is very spacious and cosy. It has everything you need and the bed is super comfy. The cabin is also only a short drive from Barnard Castle with Raby Castle not too far either so there is plenty to do. Julia is lovely, responds very quickly and is very helpful. We would highly recommend 🫶

Instructions to get to the site were absolutely spot on, amenities and everything inside and out was perfect,nothing was too much trouble for Sean at all, even having to ring him after hours as we locked ourselves out the cabin ! Very welcoming on arrival and even gave us a little more time to get ourselves sorted when we ran behind for check out time ! Would deffinately stay here again very relaxing and glad to have been !

Another amazing stay at The Brook. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Forgot how amazing the outdoor shower was. We will definitely return again.
