Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at the annex! Very quiet with a really comfy bed. Particularly liked being able to walk into York by the river. We would definitely return when we visit York again. Thank you.

Great place to stay if you are visiting York or the surrounding countryside. the pub opposite is very convenient if you don’t want to cook. There is a helpful folder of local business and things to do to help you settle in. Doug and Katrina are great hosts, I can recommend staying here.

We stayed in the Snoozy Owl for the Weekend and had the most relaxing time. The pod had everything you wanted and more! It was so nice and so cosy especially in the rainy weather. The complimentary breakfast items and biscuits were so sweet and thoughtful. I really recommend this place. Mechele was also the most amazing host, so helpful with everything and couldn’t do any more for us. We can’t wait to be back one day!

I can't thank Pru and Toddy enough for their limitless hospitality and kindness. My stay was everything I needed while working nearby on an arts project; totally peaceful and cosy. It was a little slice of paradise and leaving was so sad! The homemade bread, lemon curd, organic milk and eggs were such a generous touch, and I loved the touch of all eco products in the kitchen and bathroom. The home is perfectly stocked with everything you'd need for a break - and Pru was always on hand to help. Thank you - and I hope to be back!

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at No. 16 and we will definitely be back. My children really enjoyed looking on the beach for sea glass they didn’t want to leave. There is lots to do and all within walkable distance.

WoW this place is something else! The views alone make you feel so relaxed lol But to top the whole experience off, what a lovely comfy lodge. Fionas place was so cosy and welcoming, we felt right at home! When i saw how equipped the kitchen was i felt like cookng 🤣 Was so impressed! The extra touches were so thoughtful and much appreciated. Guys you have to experience this beautiful part of the uk, its like a hidden gem locked away from the fast pace world! Dont hesitate to book. Not only does this place have stunning views, but you have everything you need to feel right at home. And most importantly a host who really cares about her guests. The only regret i have is i wished we could stay longer lol But im sure we will be back 😊 Thanks Fiona for a lovely stay and going above and beyond with the little extras x

We loved our stay at The Scullery - it’s such a clever use of space, has everything you need and is really cosy, especially with the log burner. The kitchen is very well equipped and the bathroom spacious. The location is perfect with incredible views of Marsden and across the Colne Valley. It’s just a stones throw from the shops, pubs and cafes as well as the train station. If The Scullery is available next time we’re up, we’ll definitely be booking again. Thank you Peter and Emma!

We settled in & the host Barrie checked to make sure everything was ok on 2 seperate occasions he was also available by e-mail the lodge was clean & tidy with good facilities in a peaceful location with cafes restaurants nearby i would recommend we had a lovely relaxing time with plenty of walking in this beautiful town

The Annex was exactly as Tim stated - clean as a whistle and a lovely location. The shower room was beautiful and the shower and the fact that there was shampoo, conditioner, shower soap was a real bonus as I had left my at home! Tim and his wife were very friendly and so helpful, telling us of good places to eat in Boston Spa. The sofa bed was very comfortable and plenty of extra blankets and pillows available. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need except a microwave (which we managed perfectly well without) I would just say ask to be shown how to use the induction hob as we struggled - there is obviously a knack and we didn't have it! We were also allowed to leave one vehicle at the property past our leaving time whilst we went exploring the area. This was a huge advantage as my partner had driven in his large van! Thank you so much for a peaceful, restful stay - we will be back!

Great space in a lovely location, perfect for a short break in York - The Garden Room has pretty much all you need for a couple of days away. Accommodation feels private and quiet, and has been decorated and furnished nicely. Beccy is a great host and we appreciated clear instructions about the property and how things worked etc. The Garden Room is well situated for buses to and from York, but is also a pleasant walk into town. We would happily stay again!

Definitely use the host’s directions to find the space as google maps does not give accurate directions. The host was responsive and available for our questions during the stay. The space was simple but worked well for a quick overnight for us in between lengthy drives.

I have stayed at Rosebud Barn multiple times because it is beautiful, comfortable, easy to access and incredibly welcoming. This occasion was no different- John and Katie are unfailingly helpful and even made the safa bed up for us because we were arriving late. We are so grateful for the provision of such a convenient facility and only wish our stay could have been longer!

We couldn't recommend The Haworth Hideaway highly enough. The hideaway is furnished and finished to a very high standard. The view from the hot tub is amazing, especially at night. We found the hideaway to be very peaceful and private, set away from the busy road. It's only a short bus ride away from Haworth (10 mins) or a quick taxi journey. We very much appreciated the welcome of chocolate, a card and a bottle of wine. Had a lovely relaxing stay and would highly recommend.

Really lovely accomodation. Peaceful setting, big room, comfy bed and everything you need. Alison was thougtful and helpful with local walks for our dog. A bonus was being close to the Forresters Arms, which was welcoming, dog friendly with a good pint and great food. Love to revisit one day. Thanks Alison.

This was a very nice place for my boyfriend and I to stay while visiting the Lakes for the weekend, we especially liked watching the birds in the morning at the bird feeders outside before heading off for our walks. It’s a lovely, peaceful place and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Good value accommodation, well located for Prashad restaurant just down the road and of course Leeds and Bradford and surroundings. Excellent host who was helpful and kind in his dealings with us, including providing a charging option - unprompted - for our electric car. Good facilities and cosy. Thanks for having us!

A fantastic getaway with great views. Me and my mum had a lovely rest in this stunning location. The cottage was well located and placed in the ideal setting for rest and relaxation. There are great things to do within a short journey or just chill out in this peaceful setting. Would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at 3 winds. The apartment had everything we needed. The views were incredible. The hosts were very attentive and answered all our questions instantly. They also allowed us to have a late check out last minute on the last day which was extremely helpful in our circumstance. The reviews are what made us book this Airbnb and we were not disappointed. We would highly recommended if you are looking at this place to stay. We would return.
