Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay if you are visiting York or the surrounding countryside. the pub opposite is very convenient if you don’t want to cook. There is a helpful folder of local business and things to do to help you settle in. Doug and Katrina are great hosts, I can recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time at this venue. Lovely people and even the locals who use the pub from around the area were so welcoming. Fantastic way to start the New Year.

We stayed in the Snoozy Owl for the Weekend and had the most relaxing time. The pod had everything you wanted and more! It was so nice and so cosy especially in the rainy weather. The complimentary breakfast items and biscuits were so sweet and thoughtful. I really recommend this place. Mechele was also the most amazing host, so helpful with everything and couldn’t do any more for us. We can’t wait to be back one day!

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

I can't thank Pru and Toddy enough for their limitless hospitality and kindness. My stay was everything I needed while working nearby on an arts project; totally peaceful and cosy. It was a little slice of paradise and leaving was so sad! The homemade bread, lemon curd, organic milk and eggs were such a generous touch, and I loved the touch of all eco products in the kitchen and bathroom. The home is perfectly stocked with everything you'd need for a break - and Pru was always on hand to help. Thank you - and I hope to be back!

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay over the New Year! Kitty was an excellent host and very helpful ,with brilliant recommendations. The cottage was perfect with all listed amenities and clear instructions. The surrounding area was particularly beautiful with friendly locals who suggested walks and restaurants. We cannot wait to return at some point in the summer! Thank you xx

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

WoW this place is something else! The views alone make you feel so relaxed lol But to top the whole experience off, what a lovely comfy lodge. Fionas place was so cosy and welcoming, we felt right at home! When i saw how equipped the kitchen was i felt like cookng 🤣 Was so impressed! The extra touches were so thoughtful and much appreciated. Guys you have to experience this beautiful part of the uk, its like a hidden gem locked away from the fast pace world! Dont hesitate to book. Not only does this place have stunning views, but you have everything you need to feel right at home. And most importantly a host who really cares about her guests. The only regret i have is i wished we could stay longer lol But im sure we will be back 😊 Thanks Fiona for a lovely stay and going above and beyond with the little extras x

We settled in & the host Barrie checked to make sure everything was ok on 2 seperate occasions he was also available by e-mail the lodge was clean & tidy with good facilities in a peaceful location with cafes restaurants nearby i would recommend we had a lovely relaxing time with plenty of walking in this beautiful town

The Annex was exactly as Tim stated - clean as a whistle and a lovely location. The shower room was beautiful and the shower and the fact that there was shampoo, conditioner, shower soap was a real bonus as I had left my at home! Tim and his wife were very friendly and so helpful, telling us of good places to eat in Boston Spa. The sofa bed was very comfortable and plenty of extra blankets and pillows available. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need except a microwave (which we managed perfectly well without) I would just say ask to be shown how to use the induction hob as we struggled - there is obviously a knack and we didn't have it! We were also allowed to leave one vehicle at the property past our leaving time whilst we went exploring the area. This was a huge advantage as my partner had driven in his large van! Thank you so much for a peaceful, restful stay - we will be back!

We had a lovely stay at the annex! Very quiet with a really comfy bed. Particularly liked being able to walk into York by the river. We would definitely return when we visit York again. Thank you.

We had a lovely relaxed stay, the area was very nice and peaceful. You can’t hear much noise from the road. One thing to bear in mind is parking isn’t great we had to reverse onto the drive on a very busy main road and we were also blocked in twice which meant we had to wait for cars to be moved. Otherwise we had a lovely time and the lodge was nice and cozy.

Really lovely accomodation. Peaceful setting, big room, comfy bed and everything you need. Alison was thougtful and helpful with local walks for our dog. A bonus was being close to the Forresters Arms, which was welcoming, dog friendly with a good pint and great food. Love to revisit one day. Thanks Alison.

This was a very nice place for my boyfriend and I to stay while visiting the Lakes for the weekend, we especially liked watching the birds in the morning at the bird feeders outside before heading off for our walks. It’s a lovely, peaceful place and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Good value accommodation, well located for Prashad restaurant just down the road and of course Leeds and Bradford and surroundings. Excellent host who was helpful and kind in his dealings with us, including providing a charging option - unprompted - for our electric car. Good facilities and cosy. Thanks for having us!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

The cottage was fantastic and had everything we needed. Very spacious and clean. The hottub was great too. Sarah was very helpful and responsive and even decorated the cottage for my finances birthday with banners, chocolates and Prosecco. Over all the whole stay was faultless.

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.
