From the moment I arrived Thelma made me feel like a friend who happened to be visiting. She stocked the kitchen with a variety of breakfast basics (even eggs!) which was so welcomed since I arrived at night. She offered suggestions for local sites and where to catch the bus into Cambridge. Her comfortable, beautiful and well appointed space is within walking distance of the Cromwell Museum, markets, a huge stunning park with a river and the friendliest pub: The King of the Belgians that hosts a lively trivia night. Thelma definitely went above and beyond in making my visit relaxing.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

We had a relaxing long weekend. The cottage was easy to find with parking. It had a lovely private fenced garden that allowed our two little dogs to wander. It was bright, airy, very clean, comfortable and warm. The wine was a lovely surprise on arrival thank you ☺️. It was home from home. It was very central to places to visit. With Didley squat farm shop and Chipping Norton only a 7 minute drive away. Thank you Nicky for making us feel welcome.

Amazing! We had a lovely time, accommodation was perfect! So well thought out, cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts went above and beyond, we were left lots of goodies which were very much appreciated. Can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. There was nothing I could suggest to make it better. Really friendly couple and so easy to deal with. Pete and Sue's dog was very friendly. The area is beautiful and great walks so close by amd nice pubs on the river to enjoy food and a relaxing drink. Thanks a million to Pete and Sue.

This place is a gem. Julie is the best host and went the extra mile to help with my parking needs. It's home from home with everything you need. Really peaceful, really clean, really comfortable.

This annexe is an excellent find in the heart of Stow on the Wold. Natasha is an excellent host. She was very helpful and responsive, and very flexible when I realised that I had accidentally booked the wrong dates. The annexe is compact, but has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It was super clean, and the hospitality excellent. The location makes it very useful, for both walks and sightseeing/ wandering around villages in the Cotswolds. We had a most enjoyable couple of days.

We've just had 4 nights here and we loved it. The Annex is so lovely, perfect size for 2 and in a great location. We managed to visit Broadway approx 40mins, Bibury 10 mins, Stow on the Wold and Bourton on The Water 20 mins or so! Highly recommend Toro which is a restaurant in Burford itself it was gorgeous. Thanks again for such a great stay Heidili, would recommend your place to anyone wanting to visit the beautiful Cotswolds 😍

We absolutely loved our time at Laura and Jamie's place. The location was great, lots of nice villages only a short drive (Bourton on water, Chipping Norton, Stow on the would etc) The facilities inside the house are great for anyone travelling with an infant and the sky tv was a nice touch in the evenings after a day of exploring. We will definitely be back :)

We felt as though we were visiting friends. Lovely, peaceful & we were made to feel so welcome.

It was a lovely cottage, perfect for us. We had two little ones with us too so the travel cot, high chair and toys were amazing. Made it easier for us! Super responsive too and everything was just as described. We even got some little treats on arrival, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. Great stay. Thank you so much for having us :)

Lovely, very well equipped accommodation, with everything of excellent quality. Extremely dog friendly- Sally even provides a sheet to allow fur babies to sleep on the bed which ours does, with easy access to the secure garden. We spent a very comfortable 4 days and would return.

Put simply Nigel's place is just amazing... everything was as described/looked in the pics and beyond. Comms with Nigel were brilliant...there was no stone on turned to say the least. The treats that Nigel left us were first class and a really nice thoughtful touch... would really love to know where the grapes were from?... actually delicious... we will be back for sure... Thanks Nigel :}

We had a very comfortable few days at Christina’s. Though small, inside felt spacious enough with the large bathroom. Christina communicated well with us and didn’t leave us waiting too long for a reply to any query. Check-in via the code to get the key was simple and straightforward. It was lovely to have fresh orange juice and pastries, yoghurts, coffee bag coffee, tea bags etc A very pleasant stay!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very well presented and finished to a high standard. Everything you could need was in the kitchen. The annex was in a short walk to three pubs/restaurants that provide food. The village is very friendly and tidy. Carl was particularly prompt and attentive when when we discovered a small repair issue in the en suite. Excellent all round service. We will definitely be back.

Brenda and Manuel are great hosts, very hospitable and the communication with them was a bliss! The cabin was also clean, nice and private and I enjoyed my time in it very much. Thank you for hosting me.

Mark is a superb host and his Annex is fab - perfect for our work trip. Mark booked us a table at the local pub for dinner and even dropped us off - an all round great stay, would highly recommend.

Diana's place was excellent for two people. The bed was comfortable, kitchen and bathroom were great and updated. We also loved the extra touches like eggs, milk, bread, butter, jams and juice provided, along with coffee and tea which just made our morning perfect. The surrounding landscape was stunning and there was also a little shed with a view and two chairs to enjoy it. Also loved watching the roosters and pet dogs on the property. There was an issue with the dryer which the hosts promptly resolved. Overall, had a great experience and would highly recommend it!
