Henry and April were an amazing host, they were super respectful and responsive. They were flexible and helpful for checking in as we had to check in a bit earlier due to winter storms. Whenever we had a any questions or help they were there quickly. The view and area was beautiful even in the winter and we enjoyed being there. Will definitely visit again in summer time.

Heaven is here! This adorable gem was just what I was looking for. Amanda was excellent at communicating things about the home and any concerns I had. We couldn’t have chosen a better location viewing the lake and having this beautiful scenery! I will definitely be back just for a weekend getaway!

Visiting family in the area and needed a place to sleep but didn’t spend much time there. Nice, quiet place. Well light. Third time to stay at a property of Michael’s. He is quick to respond to questions. Clean and comfortable furniture. Well maintained. We will stay again at a property he owns if available.

With it being in the off-season it was nice and quiet and relaxing... a wonderful place to get together with family and just unwind!

Wendy's Lakehouse was exactly what my husband and I needed for our mini-retreat after our daughter's wedding. We were mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausted when we arrived; but after a couple of days of complete quiet and privacy in the house, walking and laying on the private beach, listening to the water, watching the sunsets, and basking in the fresh Lake Erie breezes: we felt restored and refreshed. The only thing that disappointed us was that we couldn't stay longer... life rolls on! 😅 Within hours of our arrival we were making plans to return- next time with our 4 sons- as soon as possible! We even were dreaming about bringing future grandkids in years to come! 🥰 Thank you, Wendy, for providing this peaceful retreat!

A nice stay if you are visiting the Toledo area. The heat is pretty slow working, but it will get there eventually. Able to fish off the dock, and plenty of space to sleep. Quiet neighborhood and pretty scenery. Not a ton of amenities within the house but if you aren’t there a ton it shouldn’t affect you all that much. Would stay again.

Absolutely great customer service from HomeHop! they were very responsive and helpful. we had a larger group for a dinner, and they provided enough tables and chairs for us. loved the local recommendations, and the location was absolutely stunning. this may have been the best Air BNB experience I've ever had!

Luminita’s place felt like retreat. Was very clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable too. Was perfect for my husband and myself to get away and recharge. The pictures don’t do it justice and the sunsets are magical. Having a cup of coffee in the morning listening to the water is always a nice way to relax. The drive to local recommendations was close and easy. Highly recommend this place; you won’t regret your stay here.

Peaceful and spacious and beautiful. Nicely provisioned. Easy check in, close to everything, but has a nice private view of woods from the windows

This little gem was a great find. Tucked inside a historic building and across the street to a beautiful park, who could ask for more?! The apartment was beatified furnished and made you feel at home. I wish I could have to stayed longer!! Downtown Edgewater was a 10min walk along the path through the park. Great place for one person or a couple to have a quiet weekend get away.

Such a cool spot — you immediately feel transported to a different place. We found ourselves forgetting we were even in Ohio anymore! It’s also close to everything and there’s a bike path right at the end of the street. Highly recommend!

Lisa has made a beautiful little getaway in the small town of Leamington! Their family was always friendly and very welcoming. Access to the park across the street and beautiful short walk to beach was so convenient and made the area feel more private as well. So relaxing and had everything you needed. It was a perfect getaway spot and I would highly recommend!

What was originally a "had to find a place for the night close to where we had to be" kind of situation turned into a very enjoyable stay, great place, great communication, good beds, lots of space and great surroundings even though it was very cold that day. Outside: inside was just right :) We even got to see a young eagle perched right outside our windows, thanks to Di who texted us to have a look! Very enjoyable stay, thanks a lot!

Stayed at this place with a couple of my friends and it was great! We had a beautiful lake that was around 5-10 minutes walk and it was very beautiful during sunrise and sunset. The home was clean and the instructions were simple and clear to follow! Thanks for letting us stay here!

We had a great stay at Lelie and Aaron's place! The location was perfect, with water views on either side. The hot tub/pool area was nice for relaxing at the end of a day at Put in Bay. we will definitely stay here again!

Tina was very hospitable and her place was incredibly clean. A perfect place to retreat.

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as peaceful and perfect as the first time! Everything is there that's needed for a cozy and comfortable stay, including a gas fireplace and extra fuzzy blankets.

Great little place minutes from Wheatley. We had a wonderful time and ended up staying an extra night. Such a gem!

A beautiful cottage to sit around the fire in winter, see the ice caps on the lake, and take a few days for respite. I’m sure it’s beautiful and fun in summer, but I’m glad we stayed when we did.

I had a fantastic weekend at Julie’s cottage! The place was cozy, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Julie was an excellent host—she was responsive, thoughtful, and provided great recommendations for local activities. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway with friends. I’d highly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again! Thank you, Julie, for making our trip memorable!

Can’t say enough about this beautiful cottage! It was beautiful, super clean and lots of fun!! The views were absolutely breathtaking taking…no words! The cottage was equipped with everything needed while we were there, it was literally spotless inside and out! We visited the beautiful beach which we had to ourselves and took a nice little drive into Amherstburg which was also a cute little town! We brought our dog with us and he LOVED the cottage and surrounding area!! We highly recommend and would DEFINITELY return to Lucas’ cottage! Thank you for having us! ❤️

Had a wonderful stay at Jesse’s place! Was perfect for a girls getaway! Very beautiful and scenic! Do want to make a few notes that may be helpful to others as they stay— most of the doors, including bathrooms, are barn doors that are quite loud and may be an issue for anyone with noise/privacy concerns. There’s also a closet that connects from the closet to the main bedroom and the basement bedroom is open to the walkout. These weren’t issues for us but had we been traveling with kids or another couple it may have been an issue. The house also has neighbors immediately next door on both sides, the neighbor’s dog will notice you and barks a lot haha the pictures made it seem a little more remote so just wanted to note there are neighbors very close by as there is not an image of the front of the house. The house also did not come with coffee or shampoo/conditioner/body wash as many airbnbs do so keep that in mind in your packing! We had to stop to buy coffee after realizing this haha
