The location was absolutely amazing – right on a quiet, beautiful beach with a fantastic view. We even spotted dolphins in the morning! The accommodation itself was super well-equipped and incredibly clean. It felt so cozy and comfortable. With 10 people, there was plenty of space, and everything we needed was provided – from dishes to extra blankets and pillows. Nothing was missing. This place is an absolute gem. 10/10, highly recommended. Top, top, top!

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

Had a lovely stay at Ahoy guesthouse and the town is full of restaurants, cafes and charming little shops. We were in the middle of town and yet it was so quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing, rustic and romantic getaway.

We stayed for 1 night on our drive from Joburg back to Cape Town. It was the perfect overnight stopover for us. We could have easily planned a longer stay after discovering how cool the Karoo National Park was on our drive out the next day. Izak did a great job stocking the apartment with everything you need and utilized the space very well. It was comfortable, private, and is on a beautiful property. We would recommend a stay here to anyone, especially for the road trippers who want a day or so exploring the Karoo.

Such an amazing getaway!!! very peaceful and close to the beach. The host Uzaan warmly welcomed us and recommended wonderful places to visit. Uzaan made our stay extra special by proving my wife with a voucher for her birthday. She really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back longer as we loved every moment.

Fantastic location right on the beach! Less than 10 minutes walk to Spar and around 15 minutes walk to harbour restaurants and bird island. Also nice outdoor area with large braai pit. Christelle was very helpful, providing clear info on how to enter the property and also notifying us in advance when loadshedding was scheduled.

what a magical place :) we stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed this calm area and stunning views. It was super clean and we loved all the details. It was even better than on the pictures. kitchen was well equiped and we had a bottle of very good complementary red wine and oranges. The communication was very easy and we received a very detailed description how to find the cabin. We had problems with the gas bottle, but received help immediately. The only recommendation we have is to maybe set up a description how to switch the gas bottle etc. and a hair dryer would be nice but other than that, everything was fine. We walked around the farm and met the farmer, he explained how to follow the signs of the route. Thank you so much, this place is amazing.

If you want to experience a breakaway where you can have absolute peace and nature around you, while getting back to basics, rest well and enjoy a fire, a swim in a real farm cement dam, while sipping on a drink of your choice, this is the place to go. Solace, is what comes to mind.

This place is an absolute must-stay for everyone! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a living painting: the views, the vibe, and the atmosphere are simply breathtaking. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you need for a perfect stay. What truly sets this place apart are the little details that make it feel like home: the friendly dogs, the adorable donkeys, and even the chickens you can cuddle. The food is incredible, the coffee is next-level (and also the coffee shakes and fresh juices), and every lunch felt like a treat. The owners and the host made our experience even more special with their warmth and hospitality. The massages were pure bliss, and to top it all off, the internet is lightning-fast: strong enough for remote working without any issues. Everything was beyond perfection, we could have stayed here forever!

Absolute stunning. I stayed there for 2 nights and it was exactly what I hope for. Super quiet, you hear nothing but nature and you have a feeling of absolute privacy. The place has everything you need, very well thought through, from bathrobes to cheesegrater, and it was spotless. It gets cold at night so bring warmer clothes or use the fireplace inside I can highly recommend to stay there

Mitat was a beautiful gem. We stayed for a night on route to Namibia. I wished we had more time. The cottage is tastefully decorated and extremely clean which I always appreciate. Trudie was very helpful and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this spot.

Rustic beach house, very close to the beach. We enjoyed the fire pit outside and the simplicity of the place. Has all necessary amenities.
