Great location, comfortable place, just 100 m or so from the beach.

Luxus im Paradies. Wer Natur und Stille, großzügige Räume und geschmackvolles rustikales Ambiente liebt, ist hier richtig. Guthrie ist ein super Gastgeber, der viel über die Farm und die Gegend erzählen kann. Die Umgebung lädt zu Wanderungen ein und private Rock-Pools zum Entspannen in der Nachmittagssonne. Wir waren zum dritten Mal in diesem zauberhaften Tal und werden immer wieder kommen.

A house with so much character, filled with personal objects and lovely books. We had some chilly days and enjoyed the fireplace and the super cosy living room. Also the outside fireplace and oven are incredible. A place with a soul.

Thanks again Arita for a wonderful stay at Aloe Halt. Exactly what we needed for a family break away. Walking distance from the beach, and the with the inverter we weren’t even aware of loadshedding!

Wonderful stay in Graaff Reinet! Jacques’s communication was pro-active and exact making the check in hassle-free. The house had everything we needed (and more!), including books and games. Everything was spotless! Overall a 10/10 stay.

7th on Globe was comfortable – we were only there one night on our drive through to the Cape. The kitchen is well appointed and the pool was a welcome refresher. There are some points that could be updated (light fixtures and fans, mattresses are soft, but I know some folks like soft mattresses), but that might be a personal preference. I appreciated that water jugs were left full for us (refillable at the spar for guests' own account thereafter – we weren't there long enough to refill, so not sure), as we did not know the water wasn't exactly drinkable in the town. Would certainly stay again.

My friends and I had a great time at the cottage. There's a friendly cat who came to say hello and hung out with us for a while. The instructions around the stove/showers etc was very clear. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of walkable trails/hikes

Ilane was a perfect host, and the unit was beautifully decorated, neat and clean. All the necessary cleaning equipment was provided and the washer/dryer combo is a big plus.

Secure, clean, tidy, spacious and well serviced. Close to beach which was just visible from the outdoor area. Would recommend and would visit again.

A fabulous overnight stay from Jhb to CT. Can definitely recommend. Very spacious, comfortable beds and secure parking.

Great stopover if you are traveling between Windhoek and Cape Town.

Michelle is undoubtably a SUPER HOST! We have stayed at her spot three times now and it is always amazing and she goes out of her way to assist and accommodate us. You can't go wrong staying here.

Besonders geschätzt haben wir die Privatsphäre, die großzügige Terrasse und die fantastische Aussicht. Alles war mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und durchdacht, sodass wir uns von Anfang an rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Ein perfekter Ort, um zu entspannen und die Schönheit der Umgebung zu genießen. Wir hätten gerne unseren Aufenthalt verlängert!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! What a beautiful home with the perfect location. Even though the weather sadly didn’t play along as hoped, we were blessed with spectacular dolphin shows and endless walks on the beach. The house is absolutely stunning, the heated pool just fantastic and the view is amazing. The house is very well equipped and we definitely missed nothing. We had the most wonderful family stay at Doug’s villa! The location was absolutely perfect with direct access to the beach, and the house itself was even better than we expected. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful decor to the well-stocked kitchen and super comfy beds. It felt like a true home away from home. Kathy was a fantastic host - helpful, responsive, and welcoming. We made such special memories here and would absolutely love to return. Highly recommend for a relaxing beach getaway with family!
