My review is for Sabor Residences not this listing, as there was a double booking. Fatma offered a room at Sabor Residences which has its own gorgeous big bathroom. It was one of 5/6 rooms in the guesthouse next to the lovely Sabor Restaurant and I enjoyed my stay immensely. Fatma was very responsive and also allowed me to check in very early. The large room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with 2 single beds and kettle with cups and plenty of coffee and tea available. I have not doubt the original room would have been good too but this was excellent, wonderful value for money and I would certainly recommend staying here. It’s close to all the shops, restaurants, bars, bus stops and Ledra Crossing. Wifi was good too! Thanks Fatma!

Fatma Hanım valizlerimle geçmek zor olacağı için bir önceki kaldığım evden özel aracıyla aldı beni yolumun üzeri diyerek. Çok tatlı ve sevecen birisi :) Lefkoşa'da lezzetli yemekleri olan bir restoranları var. Sabor. Konaklarsanız gitmenizi tavsiye ederim. Olanaklar, ortak kullanım alanları, konum... Her şey açıklamalarda bahsedildiği gibi. Ev surlar içinde, Girne Kapısı'na 5 6 dakika yürüme mesafesinde. Yani oldukça merkezi. Biz memnun kaldık ❤

Excellent quality-price ratio. Clean and cosy place with a very pleasant atmosphere. Conveniently located next to a big park and within walking distance to the city center. The host Andy was very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay in a beautiful room! We loved the location in the middle of the small streets. Also, it was only a few minutes walking to restaurants and cafés. Fatma is a great host who really helped us more than she would have had to. Big recommendation!

Great and calm place at the very center of an old town in a rustic environment. I was looking for something different than my usual environment and this was a great fit. It was fun to go on little walks in the town, starting directly from the doorstep. The hosts were very friendly and always open to a conversation.

I had an amazing experience staying at Andy’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect, with easy access to downtown, and local restaurants. Andy was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the stay, providing great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable visit to Cyprus. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Ev sahibimiz Pembe hanım güler yüzlü, hoş sohbeti ile beni ve oğlumu çok güzel karşıladı, bize çok yardımcı oldu. Kahvaltı, evin geniş ve huzur veren bahçesi evimizi aratmadı diyebilirim. Evin konumu, araçsız geldiğimiz ve çevreyi keşfetmek istediğimiz için bizim için çok iyi idi. Lokmacı kapısına 600 ila 700m, tüm tarihi mekanlar en fazla 2000 metre uzaklıktaydı. Bu sayede keşfettiğimiz mekanlar(Büyük Han, Selimiye Camii, Sabır Kebap, Lokmacı Sınır Kapısı, Kıbrıs Çöreği, Kadayıf tatlısı ekmeği satan geleneksel fırınlar) ve lezzetler oldu. Lefkoşa'ya tekrar gelirsem yine bu mekanı tercih ederim. Teşekkürler Pembe hanım, sağlıcakla kalınız.

Sıcacık bir şekilde karşılandık. Dostumuzun evinde kaldıktan sonra, ayrılır gibi ayrıldık. Giriş yaptığımız andan itibaren Pembe Hanım her şeyi düşünmüştü. Ve biz sormadan cevapladı. Prizler (İngiliz tipi priz) bizim için uygun değildi. Nasıl çözebileceğimizi sorduğumuz anda bizim için krizi çözdü. Lefkoşa'ya bir daha gidersem yine orada kalır, başka bir yer aramam. Samimi sohbeti, güler yüzlülüğü ve içten davranışları için çok teşekkür ederiz.

Eine schöne Unterkunft für 2 Personen in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und haben und mit Salz, Pfeffer und Olivenöl ausgeholfen, als wir welches brauchten.

Ich war hier für eine Woche wegen einem Workshop am Cyprus Institute. Dafür war die Unterkunft wunderbar. Das Institut war zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Zur Innenstadt konnte man entweder zu Fuß (~1h) oder mit dem Bus kommen. Die Unterkunft war genau wie angegeben und die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

sehr gute Lage. Man kann zu Fuß in die Innenstadt gehen. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gemütlich. Mehmet war sehr hilfreich und hat uns gute Tips gegeben.

The guesthouse was fantastic for us. We wanted to stay on the northern side of the buffer zone and the room we had was perfect for us. Easy to walk in the old part of the city and across the buffer zone into the south. The room is quite small but it is clean and has all you need including hot water, efficient heating and air conditioning as needed. Simple breakfast and good coffee was a great start to the day.
