We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes AirBnB in toller Lage. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt und trotzdem ist die Lage der Unterkunft sehr ruhig. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und es war sehr gemütlich. Es gab kuschelige Hausschuhe, einen Kaminofen und eine Auswahl an Spielen. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. :)

Kari und seine Frau sind sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Das Haus ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen und Ausbesserungen sind nötig (zB defekte Küchenschublade) jedoch waren die Gastgeber sehr sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar, wenn es Fragen oder Probleme gab. Sie haben diese dann auch schnellstmöglich gelöst. Es wäre informativ gewesen, wenn man gewusst hätte, dass der Indoor-Pool nicht beheizt ist. In Finnland vermutlich normal, für uns Deutsche jedoch ungewohnt (besonders im Winter ;-)) Insgesamt empfehle ich die Unterkunft und die netten Gastgeber auf jeden Fall weiter. Sicher auch im Sommer wunderschön hier!!! PS:Besonders freundlich fand ich, dass wir bei Polarlichtern in unserem Garten proaktiv "rausgeklingelt" wurden-vielen Dank, das war ein tolles Erlebnis...

A beautiful villa in a stunning setting. Would love to return one day.

The house was spotless and warm with clear instructions. Everything had been thought of and we felt very much at home. It was so close to town and the grandchildren spent so much time sledging in the area which has some great places for sledging. Kristian was very helpful and I can see why he is a super host

Cosy house in a middle of nowhere 🙂 the kids felt right at home, fell in love with the little bedroom upstairs and all the toys. The only drawback perhaps is an amount of personal belongings.

Majoituimme kaksi yötä työmatkalla. Asunto on tilava ja viihtyisä. Naapurusto oli todella hiljainen, mikä takasi hyvät yöunet. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli helppoa selkeine ohjeineen. Viihdyimme mainiosti!

Erittäin siistit ja toimivat tilat. Hyvä varustelutaso kaikin puolin. Kylpyhuoneessa oli saippuat, shampoot, ja muutakin peruskosmetiikkatuotteita. Majoittaja oli hyvissä ajoin etukäteen yhteydessä käytännön asioista, ja kaikki kommunikaatio toimi erittäin hienosti. Koira oli matkassa, ja lähellä on mukavia lenkkeilypaikkoja. Suosittelen vahvasti!

Very close to the slope, restaurants and shop. Quite pleace, really cosy. Everything was clean and well equipped. Nice place to stay in Ruka. what's the most important Maria is really helpful and caring. That was so nice to be there.

“Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Maula” Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Airbnb! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf die finnische Landschaft und die Ruhe der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns jederzeit wohl fühlten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Sauna, die ein echtes Highlight war – ideal, um sich nach einem aktiven Tag zu entspannen. Die Lage war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wie hatten das Glück mehrmals die Polarlichter sehen zu können. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

Casa muy acogedora con lo todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias. La casa tiene el tamaño justo para una estancia breve y pocas personas.

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Es war ein Traum! Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen. Ideal für Skifahrer, aber auch zum wandern und erkunden lädt es ein. Mit dem Kamin im Wohnzimmer bekommt man eine wundervolle Atmosphäre! Die Kommunikation lief perfekt und man kann Vorort schöne Touren buchen

Erinomainen majoitus, rauhallinen alue ja sopivalla etäisyydellä Rukan keskuksesta ja rinteistä.

Erittäin siisti ja viihtyisä mökki rauhallisessa sijainnissa lähellä Pudasjärven keskustaa.

Wir haben die Hütte für einen Zwischenstopp am Weg zum Nordkapp im Jänner gebucht. Im Vorhinein wurden wir informiert, dass es zwar Fußbodenheizung gibt, diese die Hütte aber nicht so richtig aufheizen kann, und es nur ein Außenklo gibt. Da dies für uns aber kein Problem sind wir dennoch angereist und das war es auf jeden Fall wert. Ausgerüstet mit Schlafsäcken war es für 3 Leute auch im Winter kuschelig und angenehm. Ebenfalls der Ausblick auf den gefrorenen See mit Sonnenaufgang war die Übernachtung wert. Auch wenn ich glaube, dass die Hütte eher für den Sommer ausgelegt ist, Ist sie auch im Winter einen Besuch wert und perfekt für eine Übernachtung

Nice accommodation. My children slept upstairs, my wife and I slept in the room downstairs. Sauna, fireplace, well equipped kitchen including outdoor fireplace. Thank you also for the recommendations - cafe, arctic spa. Beautiful skiing - trail right next to the house.

Majoittuminen sujui hyvin ja olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä mokkiin. Kohde sijaitsee hienolla paikalla rauhallisessa ympäristössä, kuitenkin lähellä keskustaa. Poislähtö tuotti hieman ongelmia, kun mökille oleva tie oli jäässä, emmekä päässeet autolla tietä ylös. Saimme kuitenkin apua kohtuullisessa ajassa, eikä lähtö juurikaan viivästynyt.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

Très beau châlet !!! Bien équipé et très douillet ! l'environnement est paisible d'autant que nous n'avions aucun voisins ! Accès direct au lac à pied ce qui nous a permis d'observer des aurores boréales. Le sauna est très agréable !!! nous recommandons le logement !

Siisti ja hyvin varusteltu mökki upeissa kainuulaismaisemissa. Vastasi kuvausta täydellisesti, mitään puutteita emme keksineet. Olemme iloisia, että päädyimme ottamaan myös paljun käyttöömme, sitä oli kiva päivän mittaan lämmitellä ja iltasella köllistellä lämpöisessä vedessä täysikuuta ihailemassa. Vielä näin syyskuussa olivat mättäät täynnään puolukkaa ja mustikkaa, niitä keräilimme puuromarjoiksi, myös sienistä kokkailimme monet muhennokset. Omatoimisille, luonnossa viihtyville mökkeilijöille lämmin suositus!

Viola and Pertti are very friendly host, always available in case of need of support or questions. The house is cozy and warm as it has central heating as well as a fire place. It is well equipped with everything necessary. The temperature of the heaters can be regulated. The outside toilet is just next to the house, easily accessible even with - 16 degrees and very hygienic. It's possible tu use the sauna and even to take a shower there. All in all highly recommended hosts and location. Thank you for everything, we will be back! :)
