Sinikka's place was incredible, we are so happy that we were able to stay there. The house felt very homey and we enjoyed the sauna very much! The location is perfect, away from the city center, with beautiful nature around and a bus stop to the city center or Santa's village 5 minutes away on foot. The frozen river is a few steps away, and we were able to go enjoy the aurora from there with little light pollution, what an unforgettable experience! There is a groceries shop nearby too. Sinikka was extremely helpful and reactive by message. I will recommend this place and host to anyone who wants to stay for a few days in Rovaniemi!

It was a very pleasant stay. The full furniture made you feel right at home. The best thing about the accommodation was definitely the classic Finnish sauna in the basement. In addition, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for every hoby cook. It was extremely quiet the whole time and you had the opportunity to leave all the stress of everyday life behind you. All in all, this accommodation can only be recommended.

Grandmother's house 🥰❤️ That is the feeling I had since stepping in and loved it. It felt very cosy and warm, old furniture but had everything we needed. Great location, I honestly felt sad to leave the place. Hoping to go back again next winter. Great garden for the kids to play in with swings and beautiful sauna. Fireplace was lovely and host very friendly. Unfortunately igloo wasn't up because of the snow level but that is mother nature and it reflects in no way on the host. Also lovely woods and lake close by, we enjoyed sledging the girls there, it takes 5 min. Thanks for everything

the accommodation was perfect, there were seven of us including two small girls and we had no problems of any kind. The house was very well-kept and clean, the spaces were large and comfortable, the location was perfect. Having rented a van we always moved around easily, we could reach the city in 5 minutes, the view was wonderful and the large windows allowed you to admire it even from inside the house. The large garden allowed the girls to have fun in the snow whenever they wanted, a few steps away there is also a playground. The house is a 10 minute drive from three perfect areas to go and see the aurora, the most convenient is perhaps Olkkajärvi Rest Stop, however if the sky is clear you can also admire it from the garden of the house. We couldn't have hoped for better!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem Haus! Die Ausstattung ist sehr hochwertig, die Sauna ist eine echte Holzsauna- Holz war vorhanden. Die Langlaufloipen beginnen direkt am Ende der Straße und führen auf die Ostsee oder ins Naturschutzgebiet. Der Bahnhof und die Busstation ist fußläufig sehr schnell zu erreichen- Einkaufen ohne Auto somit kein Problem. Das Eisbadeloch ist ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit!

Casa tipica finlandese indipendente e pulita in ottima posizione per vedere l’aurora boreale. Proprietari gentili e disponibili; Markkus mi ha accolto con un bel giretto notturno in slitta. Abita nei dintorni, risponde subito ed è sempre disponibile.

Viihtyisä ja kodikas rintamamiestalo, josta löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Talossa oli lapsiperheelle hyvin tilaa touhuta niin sisällä kuin ulkona. Sijainti oli rauhallinen sekä sopivan matkan päässä Ukkohallasta. Viihdyimme oikein hyvin!

Super location, petite maison au milieu de la forêt au calme, l’hôte nous a prêté des raquettes pour se balader dans la forêt et aller jusqu’un point à 400 mètres pour faire un feu de camp. Il nous a également chauffé le sauna que nous avons pu utiliser gratuitement. Le logement est grand et il y a tout ce qu’il faut, je recommande.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Nous séjournons chez Pekka pour la deuxième fois. La qualité du logement, l’environnement du chalet. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour

Logement très agréable, propre, spacieux et lumineux. Il est proche du centre ville et des commodité. La présence de la route à proximité du logement pourrait gêner la nuit à cause du bruit et de la lumière, mais ça n’a pas été un problème pour nous.

Vi nød vores ophold i den flotte natur. Hytten er det perfekte udgangspunkt for fisketure i robåden og gåture i området. Vi besøgte Martinselkonen Wilderness Center hvor der var mulighed for at se bjørne i naturen. Hossa er bestemt også et besøg værd med smukke vandreruter. Hytten har alt hvad man der er brug for, med flot nyt køkken. Indkøbsmuligheder indenfor 15 min. kørsel hvor der også er flere muligheder for at oplade elbil. Rami svarede hurtigt på alle henvendelser og var meget hjælpsom. Naboen der bor få minutter væk kan hjælpe lokalt, hvis der opstår behov - vi havde dog ikke brug for noget, da alt fungerede super fint. Vi benyttede ikke saunaen, men den så komfortabel ud.

I love this place! Irma was so kind to me. Also, as someone who captures a lot of adventures with my phone and camera, I’m really grateful for the super-fast internet, it allowed me to upload my pictures to the cloud every day. The home is beautiful, and I’ll definitely choose it again

Upea kohde! Kaunis kelomökki, joka oli sisustettu tyylikkään tunnelmallisesti. Mökissä erittäin hyvin varusteltu keittiö. Sijainti on erinomainen. Sopi hyvin lapsiperheelle.

the house has everything you need and we really felt like home. Very nice interior and perfect kitchen. Everything very clean and of high quality. We saw twice polar lights on the terrace, so what do you need more for a perfect stay? Highly recommended !!

Rauhallinen sijainti ja palvelut sopivan matkan päässä. Kaunis ympäristö. Keittiössä todella hyvä varustetaso. Sauna myös erittäin hyvä. Antti vastasi aina todella nopeasti.

Majoituimme kahden perheen voimin Ahmantassussa ja tilaa riitti mainiosti 10henkilölle. Viihdyimme oikein hyvin ja meillä oli mukava loma. Ahmantassussa puitteet on kunnossa, tilava ja viihtyisä mökki, suosittelemme!

Sehr gute Lage! Schneller Kontakt mit der Vermieterin. Einzig dass die Bettwäsche separat bezahlt werden muss, könnte geändert werden. Ansonsten aber alles super! Sehr schöne Hütte mit Langlaufloipe direkt vor der Haustüre. Außerdem ist auch die Skipiste innerhalb von 5 Automitnuten zu erreichen. Dort können diverse Aktivitäten gemacht werden bzw. Equipment ausgeliehen werden (Fatbikes, Langlaufski, Ski, Snowboard, Schneeschuhe).

Mukavat kolme yötä hiihtolomalla. Mökki oli siisti, viihtyisä ja hyvin varusteltu. Viihdyimme ja rentouduimme. Ihanaa, kun latu lähti aivan takapihalta. Tästä oli hyvä lähteä Oulangan kansallispuistoon ja talviaktiviteetteihin. Omaa rauhaa. Grillikota pihalla oli kiva, vaikka emme ehtineet sitä vielä testata. Tulemme mielellään toistekin. Lotta vastasi aina nopeasti.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einer sehr schönen Umgebung. Das Haus ist sehr Geschmackvoll und Gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Hieno mökki rauhallisella alueella. Hinta-laatusuhde kohdallaan. Majoittaja ystävällinen ja hänen kanssa yhteydenpito toimii.

Maxime und Marie sind sehr liebe Menschen und super tolle Gastgeber, die uns jederzeit mit hilfreichen Tipps und Interessanten Informationen zur Seite standen. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wie Zuhause gefühlt. Das Gästehaus ist super sauber, liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht, und noch viel mehr - wir haben es sehr genossen mit den Schneeschuhen spazieren zu gehen, Fisch selbst zu räuchern, Eisangeln und mit den Huskys zu toben :). Die private Sauna ist eine der schnönsten, in der wir je das Vergnügen hatten zu saunieren - mit Blick auf den vereisten See - in dem wir uns im Eisloch abkühlen konnten. Am Ende unseres Aufenthalts hatten wir sogar das Glück sensationelle Nordlichter über dem See zu beobachten. Es waren wünderschöne 8 Tage, wir würden uns sehr freuen, irgendwann wieder zurück zu kommen (auch zu anderen Jahreszeiten).

Majoittuminen sujui hyvin ja olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä mokkiin. Kohde sijaitsee hienolla paikalla rauhallisessa ympäristössä, kuitenkin lähellä keskustaa. Poislähtö tuotti hieman ongelmia, kun mökille oleva tie oli jäässä, emmekä päässeet autolla tietä ylös. Saimme kuitenkin apua kohtuullisessa ajassa, eikä lähtö juurikaan viivästynyt.

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.
