My stay at Irish’s was absolutely fantastic! If you are looking for a perfect home away from home, this is the place. The accommodations were superb and immaculate. Irish is very responsive and attentive to your needs. She is the perfect hostess. The wooded view from the back patio is picture perfect. The location is just far enough away from the hubbub of the DC metro area to give you a sense of calm, but close enough to be in the heart of the city in 30 minutes. The surrounding area has plenty of shopping and restaurant options as well. You cant go wrong if you choose Irish’s home.

Mary is a great host. Very attentive and supportive to ironman athletes like I was. The location was walkable to the race location and also close to the town center. I'd stay again if doing the race!

Thia's place is wonderful, the view of the lake is very relaxing at night and in the morning. Was most impressed with Thia as a host. She was very welcoming, it felt as if she was a friend more than just a host.

Terry was amazing! She stayed in contact with me from booking until departure and was responsive, helpful, and genuinely eager to host. She made sure there will little details that made the stay a homey getaway including fresh cut fruit and breakfast items ready for us to eat, popcorn for a movie night, and extra toiletries for the bathroom if necessary. Overall she was delightful to talk to and her home was very welcoming. Her pups were sweet and gentile creatures that added to the overall weekend when we got to meet them. I would absolutely recommend this stay for anyone wanting a cozy, quiet getaway in this part of Virginia, and I hope to be back some day too! Thanks so much for everything, Terry!

Luke and Stacy were exceptional hosts and are wonderful people. They communicate incredibly well, are very accommodating, and try their best to provide not only a wonderful stay but a “home away from home”. Their apartment offers every commodity that one would need: amazing living and sleeping area, wonderful shower, and a phenomenal kitchen (I miss the couch. Once you’ve sat on it yourself you’ll understand why). The outdoor area is also stunning and made they stay so much more lovely. The fishing at the pond was genuinely incredible, I caught 9 bass and about 5 walleye by myself and my fiancé caught a good bit her self. Luke and Stacy single handedly helped make a kind distance relationship work just a little bit easier and I cannot wait to stay there again. If you’ve read this far into the review, then you should go ahead and book your stay here. If you’ve read haven’t read this far, I hope you booked the stay anyway. This is our second time staying at the Beehive and there's a reason! Sanela's place is clean, in a super safe and quiet area and is perfect for staying near Richmond! We highly recommend :)

We had a great 3-night stay—the place felt comfortable and roomy enough for 4 people. Very clean and quiet! Appreciated the treat/toiletry bags and the responsive communication by Desi. Would stay here again!

We stayed at Tiffany’s while house hunting, so having a space that felt homey and included everything a family needs to make a temporary home was important and this space was just that! They were very accommodating with letting us park in the driveway, and super helpful when we got many packages during the holiday season. It was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and downtown, while also feeling private and quiet. A great spot for animals too, with a fenced in yard and plenty of room to roam! Great price for everything you get!

Paul and Gina’s air bnb was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. They were pleasant, helpful, and responsive to our needs. We were pleasantly surprised to find the variety of snacks/coffee/hot chocolate and access to a water cooler that was provided for us! We truly appreciate you both opening part of your home for us and if we ever find ourselves in Stafford again, we will definitely check availability to stay there again!

This place was so perfect and we loved the nature aspect of it all too. Elizabeth was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to checking in. 10/10 stay!

Isa was a really good host. She was easy to talk to, available when there were problems and responsive to concerns. The property is as described. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything. If the weather is good, sitting out back while getting a bit of work done is a fantastic way to spend the evening. As someone that greatly miss my dogs from the divorce, it was also great to have the opportunity to hang out with the little man of the house one evening.

There was no complaints at all, everything was clean and neat. For the price you get a kitchen, washer & dryer, a full bathroom and a living room , it's comfortable, private and affordable! 10/10

Perfect place for Blackwater Refuge combined with being close to town. Super comfortable and can see the peaceful marina from the master bedroom.

Deanna’s place was great super convenient to 95 and downtown Fredericksburg. The fenced in yard was great for the pups. Very clean and easy check in and out process. I would definitely stay again.

Eric & Carey’s place was quite cozy. I immediately felt at home upon entering the space. It was bright and cheery. It was clean and welcoming. There were snacks waiting, complete with water, soda, and coffee. I look forward to staying here again.

This is a beautiful guest house and we will be sure to stay longer next time. We just needed a place to stay for 1 night and this was very convenient. The house was very well kept, clean, and smelled amazing. We enjoyed the little extras provided in the kitchen. Our children enjoyed watching the chickens. Larry was very responsive and even turned the lights on for us since we were going to be out late. Next time, we will be sure to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful property.

Great space to stay if you’re looking for an affordable space with most of the comforts of home. The hosts are really responsive and helpful. The beach access was lovely to have.

I loved this rental. It’s adorable just like the pictures, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. Julia and her husband are super friendly and I was so happy to meet their dog Bella. I would stay here again when visiting Richmond. Highly recommend!
