We had a fantastic time here. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. So relaxing being in the countryside with the amazing view and the spa. It’s not fancy, you have to like rustic but it lived up to all expectations as it is exactly as described in the listing.

Incredible! We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. The views were beautiful, and it was so peaceful. We were fortunate to have clear skies on our first night, and had an amazing view of the stars. A little bit difficult to get around i.e to the beach and lighthouse etc however we made the most of relaxing, and would definitely return.

What a breathtakingly beautiful view 😍 The absolute highlight for me was coming out onto the deck late at night and seeing ALL of the stars 🌟🌠🌠🌌🌌 and the milky way!! What a beautiful sky. The cabin is amazing and bed was super comfy bed and we loved the spa (until the crickets joined us lol) and weber was awesome 👌 will definitely be back to stay again.

What an amazing little cottage on the water to relax and enjoy New Zealand's beauty! Perfect little spot to catch up with nature and see so many species of birds all around. The cottage even had fresh picked flowers when we arrived to make it even more magical. We can not wait to return to the cottage on our next trip back to New Zealand. The host Anna was wonderful and very responsive our entire stay! She helped us out and checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything. Thank you so much Anna, you were amazing.

Thank you Linda for a beautiful stay, the space was perfect! Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Sheryl and Ian were very warm and friendly hosts with good recommendations for local coffee and places of interest. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and loved the cute cabin details, books and artwork. The outdoor kitchen was adequate for cooking meals and the spa added a nice touch of relaxing luxury.

Lovely accommodation, great location. Nice and clean and the beds were so comfy!

We loved Nuku Cabin, Diane and Anthony were lovely and friendly and I think My hubby could have chatted to Anthony all day. They seemed to have thought of everything and it was very well organised and easy to find what you needed. The cabin was exactly as described and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The weather was extremely wet so it was great to have so much space. We thought we might have been able to hear the highway more but once the door was shut we couldn’t hear anything. We can thoroughly recommend Nuku Cabin.

A great space to find peace and come back to yourself, we really enjoyed it and would recommend. The outdoor bath and the rainfall shower are standouts. Beautiful night sky.

Dee was the most amazing host! We stayed with her during a sad occasion for my family. She was so accomodating and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after. She was understanding when we had extra family members (including our dogs) which meant a lot. Thank you Dee for your manaakitanga! Forever grateful.

Absolutely 💯 fabulous!! what a delightful place to stay, would highly recommend. so quiet, peaceful and oh ever so cute. Michelle was wonderful and makes soaps and all herself.

Do not miss the chance to book this lovely place. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. This was our best Arbnb during our New Zealand trip. The place has lots of space in the "Living room" and garden, so our Baby had plenty of space to crawl and explore. The view is so beautiful, the garden private and peaceful, the price fair. Everthing was tidy and clean and well equiped. On top, Sarah is a delightful host; so friendly, helpful and responsive. What more could you with for?

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The batch is beautifully situated in wooded area with views of the ocean. It is comfortable and well equipped. Very peaceful.

A lovely small place in the middle of nature yet close enough to all facilities. Very calm - no other people around. Very comfortable and great view especially for sunset. Really nice host. We will definitely come back!

We were instantly at home in this lovely little cabin. Everything we needed was available including a very well organized/stocked kitchen. I have a background in natural nutrition and really appreciated the homemade yoghurt and sourdough. It was the best I have ever had. The fresh fruits were grown right on the property. It is a truly idyllic spot amongst the native plants, birds and farm animals nearby. I can’t say enough. I managed to do some yoga out on the deck went to the beach and met a Captain Cook pig in the same day! Feeling grateful for the chance to stay here. With a full heart we are headed home.

The Airbnb is fantastic! You have your own lovely hut and garden and feel completely private. Yes the toilette is outside but it is only 1m from the entrance and it is really nice like a seperate room, not a big deal. It was super clean, too! Sarah was also really nice. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a weekend wedding at The Stables and it was the perfect spot. very close to where we needed to be and less than 10 min drive to Matakana Village. perfect for a couple, had everything we needed. stunning views, cool cow and turkey visitors in the morning 🙂 we'd 100% return. thank you

What a spot! Modern accommodation with amazing views, plenty of space and every mod con you could need. We would love to come back for longer next time
