This was a top 3 Airbnb experience - and we’ve been to a lot of Airbnbs! Everything was immaculate and tastefully / uniquely decorated. Things that stood out: GREAT linens - this went from bedsheets to towels to dish towels. And Sheenah thought of every little detail - the unit has everything we needed and more. She also left thoughtful surprises like a little jar of local honey. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! We’d love to come back!

Loved the stay at the Paua room .. Great view of the sand dunes even from the bed .. Very arty .. Great bed and great quality pillows .. Exceeded my expectations .. Everything one could need was supplied by Richard .. Lovely friendly host .. Only one very small downside the wall of the pāua room backs on to the owners place so in The morning one can hear the toilet being flushed and the coffee grinder apart from that it was pretty faultless .. I would stay again the location is excellent .. Thanks Richard ..

Quintessential kiwi batch, located directly in front of beautiful Manapouri beach. Great place to re set the mind and body from busy city lifestyle. Will definitely re book when the chance  arises. Thanks Mark!

The apartment is in a great location with excellent views and in a peaceful location. It is well stocked with all the essentials for a long or short stay. Mark was able to give excellent recommendations for a day trip north and for local beaches. We stayed with our family and would highly recommend. It was lovely listening to the ocean and seeing the ever changing scenery. Local shop is 10min walk just along the beach and carries bread and milk, the essential ice cream, great food and takeaways and some great locally produced items.

This is a beautiful condo very central location with waterfront views. If you are not able to climb stairs, there are two flights of stairs to the condo

An amazing native Kauri tree stand surrounds this house and spa pool. If you want a truely NZ bush location, this is your place. The hot tub has wonderful lyrical babbling brook sounds which help you relax into this private, natural, setting.

We really enjoyed our stay here - the house was great for our family. There was everything we needed, plus lots of other little things you don’t realise you need until you need them! The house is in a great spot - it was really quiet and in easy walking distance to the beach. Mark and Leone are such great hosts - so kind, helpful, and very responsive. They were there in a flash when we messaged to say we were missing something. Thanks again for a really great few days!

We could not recommend Katharine’s place enough! It is one of the best airbnbs we have stayed at. We were absolutely stunned by the breathtaking views of Matauri Bay - that you can see from nearly every angle of the home. The home is beautifully furnished inside and out and has everything you need and more. The peace, quiet and privacy of the home make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We really enjoyed the ease of access to the beach and the well thought out features of the home such as the outdoor shower. Katharine was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

My daughter and granddaughter and I had a lovely 2 night stay here. It was close to the bay so we could go for a walk and even a swim.

Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

This is the most outstanding home we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot of amazing homes. The well thought out design, perfectly equipped house (kitchen to joyfully cook meals, luxurious linens, extras for beach visits, really absolutely everything you’d want), and a gorgeous interior. The house is situated perfectly with privacy from the unit next door. The whole backside of the home is glass with giant sliders to open, catch the breeze and watch the ocean. The moonrise over the ocean and the sunrise over the ocean from bed is the cherry on top. This peaceful quiet space is number one on our list! Reserve it!

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights while exploring up to cape reinga. Allan's place had a beautiful set up. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The shower was great after days at some beaches. The bed was comfortable. And the area was so peaceful. The bar/restaurant down the road was also delicious with friendly owners. Thank you for a relaxing, comfortable stay.

Fantastic accomodation! This place is so lovely. Very homely and cosy. Loved the bedrooms and the communal spaces. So close to the beach - There are Kiwi in the bush across the road, which we even got to see one night ! Liz was so hospitable - thank you. Oh, and an amazing shower ! You’ll see what I mean once you get there.
