I’ve stayed at a variety of Airbnb properties in St Thomas and Haagensen House is my favorite for its uniqueness and privacy. The property manager, Harold, met me near the airport to ensure I found my way - I encourage future renters to do the same as nav systems can be spotty on the island. The decor was refreshing and nailed the old town vibe of Charlotte Amalie - I loved the colors and wood details throughout. The entry garden is breathtaking and the expansive patio overlooking the water was such a pleasant surprise - I couldn’t believe it was all mine. The AC in the bedrooms worked well and at night, there was a nice breeze if you kept the doors open in the main space. The hosts are the NICEST people!! I travel with my small dog and finding dog friendly accommodations in STT is very difficult. We were welcomed with open arms. They were so thoughtful, following up to make sure we were settled okay and didn’t need anything. I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality

The place is exactly as shown in photos. For some reason, it was a bit confusing getting here, the 83 address didn’t work on Apple Maps and brought us to a different location so just know it’s the one on Lemon Tree Rd. I was worried as I didn’t see the previous review before booking but I’m glad I didn’t see it because the place was recently renovated, new bathrooms and very clean and spacious. Loved the view from the balcony. The roads getting there are very windy and difficult to drive but worth it when you get up to the view. One thing we didn’t know, St. Thomas tends to turn off the power to save electricity so one day the whole island didn’t have power but I think the house had a generator, we didn’t turn it on we just went to the beach but don’t recommend keeping ice cream in the freezer just in case! Overall I’m glad we stayed here and we had a great time!

We absolutely adored our stay at Fairwinds! None of us were ready to leave when the time came. The view, the comfortable sitting and eating arrangements, the porch, the pool - we were so relaxed. It was even better than we expected.

Birthday trip was a success…. I enjoyed every bit of my stay and Natasha was a fabulous host.

Our 31-day stay was very enjoyable, in large part due to Pierre's responsiveness! The property is dated, and typical island style, as advertised and as expected. We had some issues (check-in cleanliness, kitchen provisions, pool issues, washing machine issues), but each and everyone of these problems were solved immediately once we let Pierre know. This property is fantastic for pet owners (we brought our Mini-Dachshunds), as the entire outdoor living space is contained.

Perfect place for my wife and I to spend our anniversary!!! Everything was super clean and exceeded our expectations. They even decorated for us with rose petals! There were so many necessary items like dishes, bottled water, toiletries, and towels stocked up. There were also covid kits with masks, sanitizer, and Lysol that we were able to utilize as a courtesy as we toured the island. The host was extremely easy to contact and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting St Thomas in the near future!!

This place was like home away from home. It was easy to access and was exactly as described in the listing. It was extremely clean and had all the necessities we needed to start our long term stay. The host were very helpful with providing numbers to taxi cabs as well as good local restaurants that were within walking distance. If given the chance and opportunity we would definitely stay here again. Thank you again for opening your lovely home to us.

This is a great location for St. Thomas! Great beach that has something for almost everyone. Snorkeling, swimming, pizza, bar, shaded areas, beach chairs (No charge) on beach. If you have already explored all the other beaches on the island there is really no reason to leave Sapphire Beach. Sapphire beach is definitely one of the top beaches on St. John. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied. We stayed 11 nights and only regret was not having more time.

Great location…clean space

We had a wonderful stay here. Two good sized bedrooms with their own privacy and bathrooms. The condo is clean, spacious, and has everything we needed for beach, pool, cooking, parking, etc. Rosie was super sweet and I couldn’t recommend her place enough. We will definitely stay here again!

I loved staying here! Private, peacefule, and a pool, short walk to the beach and restaurants. I would defintely stay again, can't wait to go back!

Anna was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend having a rental car because our taxi wanted to charge us more to drive up to the gate to get into the complex and it’s much easier than waiting for a taxi. Bring bug spray if you plan on sitting out on the balcony! Bring laundry detergent if you plan on using the washing machine. The condo was spotless and comfortable. Perfect for a couple night stay for two people! Views from the pool were picturesque!

Bianca’s place is so much more than described. Impecable, confortable and modern. The only table we didn’t use was the indoor dinning table. The bathrooms are clean and beautiful. We cooked most of the time and everything we needed was there . Worth every penny. You wake up and go to sleep to soft waves on the beach. Best snorkeling in the entire island as far as I’m concerned. Absolutely loved it there !

Great stay with a very short walk to sapphire resort including a couple of restaurants and great beach views.

The view was AMAZING!! Everything about the house was great and the host was super nice and so helpful I really enjoyed myself

The location is very close to the waterfront and accessible to other activities. Host was very nice and responsive.

The place is just a 15 min walk to Megan's Bay but be warned that the walk is on the side of the road and there isn't a side walk but it was doable. Our AC broke the first night but they were able to get us a new room and the property is stunning with amazing views. Northside grind is a great place to get breakfast/lunch and the bar and grill on the property is good as well. Overall we loved our stay and hope to visit again soon!

100/10 would recommend this beautiful island getaway!! The inside was incredibly spacious, clean and a perfect place to unwind after a long day in the sun! The back patio view has to be among the best Airbnb views on the island looking over Famous Megan’s and Hull bays! Sunrise and sunsets were our favorite part of the day with the views! Also had any amenity you needed including beach gear, laundry area, loaded kitchen, yoga mats for morning stretches and a nice grill for the afternoon!

We stayed at St Thomas in Jackie’s place for three nights. The view from the porch was more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning watching the sunrise and in the evening, sunset. Jackie was so kind in offering to pick us up at the boat terminal and also allowed us to check in early too. She sent a video with clear instructions in finding the place. Jackie responded to our every need. A basket of snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray were waiting on the counter…so nice. We enjoyed our stay.

This location has an amazing view and was located off one of the main roads. I would highly suggest having a rental car. It is a little hard to get to though. The unit is perfect for one or two people with a full kitchen, minus the oven. The bed is very comfy and the coach was perfect. There is an AC unit but it’s not the most powerful. It cools the unit but it won’t be very cold. In combination with the fan you’ll be plenty cool. Plus the windows open and you can feel the breeze. You do have a designated off street parking spot, it felt very secure. The unit comes with towels, linens, beach things, plates and bowels, etc. basically everything you’ll need including high speed internet. The patio has amazing views and is just around the corner from the unit. The owners are super responsive and we’re open to letting me stay a couple extra days.

Michael's place is absolutely fabulous! My family of four was very happy with our two night stay on our way home from St. John. Charming on the outside and very nicely updated and sapcuous on the inside. The little deck was a perfect spot to have my morning coffee. Our teens loved the little pool. The king bed was very comfortable. We loved the short walk into town. The kitchen was well appointed. Michael was very responsive to my inquiries and we appreciated his great recommendations for places to eat. Highly recommend!
