The property is beautiful but Billy and Gill made our stay extra special. They couldn’t do enough to help us feel at home. The apartment was clean, spacious, warm, safe, cosy and exactly as described. There is a large lounge to relax in with a great range of DVDS, games and books. We also had access to the games room which our boys were intrigued by and found a lovely Pinocchio book, Disney jigsaw puzzle and had a little go on the snooker table. But the stand out was the garden with treehouse, trampoline and ride on toys - our boys were obsessed - it was all perfect for our needs. Nice little extra touches were the welcome treats on arrival for both us and our kids and a bottle milk in the fridge. Billy and Gill always had time to talk and make sure everything was okay for us. I had a treatment with Gill which was amazing and would definitely recommend. Already planning our next trip at Stonelea House - thank you again for letting us stay in your lovely home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sammy’s place. The flat was easy to find with the descriptions/directions given prior. The host was very quick at responding when I queried parking (which was no issue at all). It was all exactly as described with a nice homely feel. The bedding felt luxurious, the towels were soft, the sofas super comfy and there was even a bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The location was superb, so close to the centre of Hexham, yet very quiet. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend to others. Thank you ☺️

This was a fabulous stay. Did all it said on search. bedroom was roomy and bed comfy bathroom was small but everything placed to maximise space. shower easy to use and refreshing. kitchen had everything and more. only thing missing was a freezer and that I got from search. sofa in lounge comfy. tv . building heats up within 15 mins once thermostat in bedroom was put in play. as weather was nice , pulled 2 chairs out of outhouse and sat in patio area. neighbours were chatty. recommended

We had an excellent couple of days! The flat was wonderful - so spacious, warm and homely feeling, extremely comfortable and a joy to come home to after a long day working at the Art Fair. Can't wait to come back! Was absolutely ideal and a perfect haven for two weary artists. Thank you Rachel!

I couldn't recommend Will & Dawn's place more. The place was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The instructions on how to find the place were detailed and Will was proactive in communication, ensuring we knew how to get there. We received a warm welcome on arrival. The place was done out to a very high spec. The pool was also a big draw which our four year old boy particularly enjoyed. The location was a great base for exploring Northumberland. We'll definitely be back

I cannot state enough how friendly and accommodating Yvonne was! Great communication and amazing flat. Everything was spotlessly clean and so warm and comfortable, we felt right at home! Will definitely be returning to stay with these hosts! Thankyou so much ❤️

Fantastic stay. Carla was very welcoming and helpful throughout. The apartment is in a beautiful part of town, only 10 mins walk to the centre. It would be really hard to fault it.

Amazing stay, felt at home and Tom couldn’t be anymore helpful. Would recommend him to anyone. We got egg from his chickens that he gave us, wood provided the first time of use and the hot was a bonus and heated up within 2 hours with the fire. Overall loved our stay and defiantly will be back to stay with TOM. Thanks again. The place was clean and easy findable with what3words.

We had a wonderful stay in Gary's house. It is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with just a few minutes by foot to reach the sea. The modern interior of the house has all the comfort you need and Gary went above and beyond to make it childproof and adjust to our needs. We would come back any time. Thank you :-)

We loved the house and its location - incredibly well equipped. .There’s a big hallway to stash muddy boots and coats. An eat in kitchen and cosy sitting room. The kitchen had everything.we needed. There’s a fire in the sitting room with a supply of logs and it was all set up for us to light….Very thoughtful. Upstairs there two double bedrooms with two large beds (one can be split). We found both very comfortable and the bed linen was very new. Plenty of towels and extra too for the beach. There was a shower over the bath with a decent pressure. Shower gel and hairdryer provided. We chose this property because it had two big sofas (many only had one) / was two minute walk to the town centre/ and offered on street parking with a parking disc ( there were plenty of spots]. Jenny’s welcome book was so thorough.. so many tips to see and eat This place exceeded all our expectations -comfy, cosy, convenient and practical. Jenny was brilliant at communication. Just Fab.

We had a lovely time. The house was really nice and exactly like the photos. We would definitely recommend and would love to come back.

We were staying up there for my Sons wedding , then we stayed on a little over Christmas to see the children . The Ubers are amazing and I just downloaded the app ‘Uber eats ‘ as well and they can do a shop for you from the Coop ,Sainsbury’s and Tesco and more . Uber travel was very good and reasonable . Area of house is great for Newcastle , Durham or Bernard castle area . Rooms are a good size , beds comfortable. Walking for elderly parents was nice and they increased their fitness immensely , as the fresh air has helped them along with the trips to the countryside which is all around . Very Clean throughout . Comfy sofa and large chair. Great for a family . Garden is enclosed and very safe . Rachel has been a very kind host , and fast to respond to any querys , I would recommend the area and the home , the locals are friendly and there’s a Tesco express which has a bit of everything , in walking distance . Warm and welcoming, banister on stairs plenty of cupboards . A*

Booked this last minute as a surprise for my partners birthday and it was everything and more. The property was huge, very clean, had everything we needed and more. Claire was super helpful and we would be more than happy to stay at Sand Dancer again in the future!

Cosy and ingenious use of space. Loved the thoughtful decor and the fabulous selection of books. Within easy walking distance of shops and the lovely Milan restaurant.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! Pete is a really kind, flexible and friendly host and the apartment is just amazing, so well equipped, spacious, clean and in the most beautiful setting! I couldn't recommend it more highly and look forward to returning to make more happy memories :)

Lovely apartment. Such nice decor with everything needed for a cosy stay. Great location for walking around Berwick. Lesley was a great host with fast communication and updates 😊. Even though couldn’t park the car at the accommodation car parks were free and close by.

Great place to stay - lovely accommodation, handy for the metro and shops. We’ve been here a few times now and wouldn’t stay anywhere else if we were coming up to Newcastle for a few days

We loved our stay here. As others have said, it really has everything you need and is spotless, comfortable, warm and the bed is just lovely! Plenty of soft towels too. We felt right at home here immediately. Linda really has thought of everything to make it perfect. A basket of special treats was much appreciated and so kind. It really is in a perfect spot in Alnwick, it’s so easy to walk to everything. We loved the proper pub, The Tanners Arms, at the end of the street. Lots of places to choose from to eat if you have the energy after a day’s sightseeing! Super cafe in the incredible Barter Books nearby. Great central spot for us to visit Cragside, Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle. Stunning beaches, beautiful views and incredibly friendly people wherever we went. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Linda’s and would totally recommend it to anybody wanting to visit this beautiful area.

Lovely flat in an amazing location with so much to do nearby. Really appreciated the wine and treats that were in the flat on arrival!

We had a wonderful stay at Lesley-Ann’s property which excelled our expectations. The apartment was beautifully presented and there was fantastic communication throughout our trip. Great location with stunning views we highly recommend and look forward to returning!!

Karen is good to deal with, communications were excellent, and she picked us up from the train station which was handy. The flat is great, more spacious and more natural light than I had expected. Location is good, 2 minutes walk from the Baltic, close to the Glasshouse (both of which are worth a visit) and the Millenium Bridge across to the Quayside at Newcastle. There's a bus stop right outside the apartment block, and the Metro is only quarter of an hour away near the very large Tesco. Restaurants - Lui's was excellent; Babucho very good, as was Ravel Indian; Pitcher and Piano has great views by the Tyne, but was very noisy Friday and Saturday nights. The Hooch was a great place for a drink with nice music; Station East was very quirky. We went to Laing art gallery (good cafe too) which was very good, and the Cathedral. If you're adventurous, a 45 minute walk to Saltwell Park (buses are available) was worthwhile as the weather was great.

My parents are just home from a three night stay at Cat’s place. They know the area very well and were delighted to be in such a fantastic location. The flat itself is beautiful and so spacious with plenty of space and everything you could need to feel right at home. Cat was so helpful and responded immediately to our messages. Thank you so much Cat … we will definitely be booking again.
