We had an incredible family weekend with two young children. The house is absolutely beautiful, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made it feel like home. The kitchen was the heart of the house for us, fully equipped with everything we needed. The unique charm of the house was a delightful touch, and the kids had a blast exploring both indoors and out. Marcus, the host, went above and beyond—he even came out to find us when we had trouble locating the entrance. He gave us a comprehensive tour and made sure we knew how everything worked. The pool area was wonderfully private, and the hot tub was a lovely addition. The rooms were very comfortable, with stunning furniture and textiles. The grounds were breathtaking, providing the perfect setting for al fresco dining in a peaceful and glorious environment. Shame we hadn't planned a longer stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

A lovely set up and stay for the price, however it should be made more clear that the pool isn’t in the house and is in a shared complex. I think this is a fairer approach, I only found out the pool was in a shared area when I went for a pre arrival visit.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

We had a great stay - the house is peaceful, quiet, clean, and especially cosy with the woodburner on! Richard and Jo were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating, and offered great advice on places to visit nearby with our two small children. We all slept amazingly well (very unusual with a 1 and 3 year old); the beds were comfy and it was so quiet. The house is well set up for visiting with toddlers - there are toys, books, stair gates etc. and the large garden is great to let them run around in. We would absolutely return, especially in the summer to really make use of the beautiful garden.

Me & my friends had a great weekend here. The facilities were excellent (the indoor swimming pool, pool table, darts board, table tennis, cinema room and outdoor space) and enabled us to have a very fun weekend with multiple activities without having to leave the home. Additionally Gary was an excellent host, responding swiftly to any questions and queries we had. Would recommend to anybody considering.

This place is GORGEOUS!! The pictures really don't do it justice. The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge was perfect for a girly weekend. I love that each double room had its own ensuite.

great cottage in a fantastic location with Carsington Water in walking distance and a lovely country pub too! Cottage had everything we could have asked for and our host was really helpful when we needed them. Highly recommend :)

This was a perfect place for us to stay. The house felt recently refurbished. There was plenty of room and all six of us had our own bed! The kitchen was well resourced and there were plenty of soaps and shampoos etc to use in the bathroom. It was a bonus having the tram so close. We very quickly got into town and coming home after attending a show in the Motosport Arena was very easy using the tram.

Lovely home! Super clean, really big, had all amenities we needed, parking available at the back of the house which was perfect. Kate was really helpful and very communicative. Only note is that it is on a main road so front bedrooms are quite loud at night with passing traffic, but otherwise quiet location. Would stay again :)

A lovely, newly built, clean house. Well placed to visit Nottingham. Ideal for two couples with two parking spaces, 2 double beds and two bathrooms and downstairs toilet.

I had a fantastic stay at this Nottingham 3-bed house! The host was incredibly helpful and friendly, always available to answer any questions and ensure a smooth stay. The house was spotless, with a fresh and welcoming feel. The kitchen was highly equipped, making it easy to cook meals just like at home. Every little detail was thought of, from utensils to appliances. The beds were so comfortable—I nearly fell asleep the moment I lay down! It was the perfect place to relax after a long day. I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting Nottingham. Great location, wonderful host, and a cozy, well-maintained house! I’ll definitely be back!

We stayed as a group of 7 friends for a long weekend. The main thing for us was a decent space where we could relax and catch up, and the living room was perfect in terms of size and seating. The centre of Nottingham is a short drive away and there’s several large supermarkets close by. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Allan went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The house was the perfect place for our family to stay to visit our son studying in Nottingham. It was comfortable, spacious and the kitchen was properly equipped. We would highly recommend it.

Stayed at Rebecca’s place with my three little ones and it was a real pleasure, from the moment we walked through the door we felt right at home! The kids had plenty of space to run and play, the home is lovely and spacious with a nice size back garden. We live in Melbourne but often visit family and friends in England, this place will be number 1 on my list for my next visit if there’s availability! Would definitely recommend for families, has everything you would need and location was perfect, central to everything but very peaceful.
